When they reparticalized, Rose looked around them. She wasn't impressed. "This place looks depressing... It's just like a rocky mountain pass," She took another look around, "I thought it would be like like an abandoned crystal temple or something."

"Abandoned crystal temples don't exist, they are always populated because of there size" at that they walked into a cavern.

"Is this a mine?"

"Yes" Rythian stopped and put his arm in front of rose.

She looked down at his hand, "What are you-"

In silence, Rythian threw a coin up in to the air, then, like it was thrown from the air, the coin shot forward at lightning speed into the darkness, then out of thin air you hear a skull crack and someone or something falls to the floor.

Roses eyes widened, "What the hell was that!" She said, pointing and looking at Rythian.

"He wasn't real, just a mindless clone. We've got to move, they know we are here!" Rythian saw metal girders around him so he grabbed rose he jumped and all of a sudden they launched down the mineshaft.

When they stopped, Rose was breathing hard from the surprise. She put her hand on her chest to see how fast her heart was beating. It was way too fast. "How! What!" Was all she could say.

"I'm a mistborn didn't you know"

She tried to slow her breathing, "I wish you would tell me these things!" She said, her voice becoming louder.

"Okay, sorry" they continued on down the mine.

Rose rolled her eyes and walked with her arms crossed.

"What"

She looked away, "Nothing," she paused, hearing a noise, "What was that..."

"Guards" he said it in a way like he didn't care.

She pulled out her gun, holding it so it was pointing at the ground.

Rythian threw a few coins into his hand then burned bendalloy. all of a suddenly the guards came running out of the darkness, but for some reason they were running really slowly.

Rose's eyes widened, "Do I shoot!?!"

"Sure go ahead. It's going to kill them any way, except that buff guy furthest to the left" He said with a cool tone.

She started shooting, but in infective places. Shoulders, hands, legs. Not because she's bad at shooting, but because she's not very big on killing. But if he said the word, she might consider some headshots.

"Are you shaky or something?" Rythian threw the coins up, then they launched forward, but when they got 10 meters away they slowed down like they were thrown in to a different time speed.

"What's happening to them" she said lowering the gun and pointing.

"Nothing, we are the ones that are acting different "

Rose blinked, "What?"

"I'm burning bendalloy " Rythian smiled

"What does that do?"

"When I burn bendalloy, it compresses time in a bubble around us about 10 meters in diameter, within that, time moves faster than outside of it. That is why they are moving so slow"

"Oh..." She said slowly nodding her head.

"Did you get any of that"

"No not really..." She said changing her head from nodding to shaking it 'no'.

Rythian laughed "Me burn special metal, make bubble that make time go faster" Rythian smiled again.

Rose scowled, "Well you don't have to dumb it down that much."

"Yeah but I'm Alien and your human"

"Whatever.... So what do we do now?" She said looking away.

"Well we continue but after we kill them." He pointed at all the wounded guards.

She looked Rythian in the eyes. She was still willing to kill them if he said to. She might be able to make some headshots.

"Well you might be able to do some head shots like you said, then do it " Rythian smiled again.

Rose smiled, she lifted the gun with both hands and started shooting, hitting them squarely in the forehead, blinking with every shot. She would ask how he knew what she wanted later.

"Nice"

She pointed to the last one that was very muscular, "Now what about that one? Do some awesome alien thing!"

Rythian raised an eyebrow to her and sighed. Out of nowhere there was a noise like someone being stabbed. The muscular man fell to the floor with a bloody ice spike were he stood.

"Woah! That was you?" Rose said pointing, "Well, I mean, it's an alien thing... But it's not as awesome as I wanted it to be" se said with a disappointed tone.

"What did you think I was going to do "

She shrugged, "I don't know, something awesome!" With that she walked off, not waiting for him. She stepped around the dead bodies and kept going with Ryth staring after her.

Rythian snapped , a Smirk on his face. Roses gun disappeared into his hand, then he multiplied in to five and surrounded Rose.

She crossed her arms with a slight smile playing on her face. "That's what I was waiting for."

"You just need the right moment" All five Rythians threw her gun back.

She flinched away as they came at her.

"Sorry" four Rythians turned In to ice statues then melted

Rose looked into the floor And picked up the gun. She shook as much water from it as she could, then put it away. "Let's go!"
