"Bring you down here in the dead of night~" Echo coos softly as his voice echoes through out VK's castle. The sound of his footsteps could be heard. "Keep you working. Try to survive~ We are secretly watching you too~... Trying our best to get at you..~" The glitch sang.

Athyst was breathing heavily as he hid behind a wall, hearing the sound of them getting closer. He felt like he was in a nightmare... but it was so much worse... This was real.. A sudden wave of dread washes over him as his stomach starts to growl, alerting the others of his presence. He then turned around to be face to face with VK.

"Run..~" The nightmare king growled, a wicked grin on his face. Athyst swiftly ran away as fast as he could, nearly tripping over his feet a few times, jumping over things and ducking under things.

VK slowly walked after him, continuing to speak as his voice is projected through out the entire castle. "You can run~ You can't hide~ We'll always seek~ We'll always find~ You can run~ But you can't hide~ We'll always seek~ We'll always find~ You can run~ You can try~ You can run~ But you can't hide~ You can run~ You can try~ You can run~ ...But you can't hide~"

Athyst was out of breath as he came to a stop, thinking that he had successfully lost VK. They're laughing while finding. I'm hiding, I'm trying. I feel like He's lying. I feel like I'm dying... He's guiding me quietly... Instructing me blindly.. Afraid of what might be. I feel like I'm dying..~ Though Athyst's relief was short lived as he hears VK and Echo talking near by.

Hide

Athyst swiftly hid behind something as he listens, trying to keep his breath quiet, though a quiet rumble from his stomach can be heard.

"I hear a sound..." VK growls, swiftly looking around in a paranoid manor.

"It's prolly just a mouse." Echo responds, trying to calm the nightmare king down from his power high.

"I see them in the dark.." VK mumbles, seeing the shadow of Athyst's tail for a plot second.

"I only saw a spark." Echo responds softly, standing with his back facing Athyst's hiding spot, trying to cover for him.

"I know there's someone there..." VK growled as he walks up to him, wrapping a hand around his neck in a threatening way.

"Not as far as I'm aware." Echo says, trying to stay calm and not choke as he hesitantly reaches up to VK's hand that is around his neck. Though VK's grip only tightens.

"Why don't you believe me?" VK snarled before sighing and letting go. "Maybe you're right..."

"It's just another night." Echo smiles as he tries to lead VK away from Athyst's hiding place.

"But I heard a creak.." VK said, persistent on finding Athyst.

"Just go back to sleep." Echo insists.

"I'm always quick to rage..." VK mutters as if reflecting upon his own actions.

"So go back to your room." Echo pleads. Before hearing the sound of Athyst tripping over his own feet and falling. "Wait... Now I hear it..."

A wicked smirk forms across VK's face as he stares at Athyst.

Echo swiftly looks at Athyst. "Run!"
