Holly's battle against the rivalling alpha Oka. It was a battle to the death, as usual due to tradition. Holly was allowed to keep her alpha power, and Oka was allowed only her strength and armour.

They still had a few hours before the actual fight. Holly was pacing around in her room, nervous, her tail bristling, knowing she could die today.

She was at least grateful her friends and family were here. Even Aero came in all the way from Nym.
