Post-Solaris
Because Luna and Treet are the only two to know about this horrible and cruel plan for Elias. :) LunaHexa Treetthemango ConstantRumbling

Elias hadn't been the same since Solaris had died. The first few days, he'd just avoided all contact with people, but on the fourth day, he stole Tso'sun in the middle of a conversation with his father. Tso'sun had had no idea why he was suddenly trying to get his attention, but he quickly figured it out when Elias started crying harder than he had when Tso'sun and Kit had gotten together.
Solaris's death had been less than pleasant, for Elias was dying along with him the entire time. The pain of the curse had crossed over to him. This time, the magic had been so purely dark that the astral realm couldn't help him. Elias had been screaming and crying, half out of pain, and half out of grief and fear. But it had ended so suddenly that he had just crumpled to the ground. The pain all suddenly vanished and all of Solaris's emotions were gone.
Tso'sun and Sigel both had to pull him away as cried desperately and clawed at Solaris's body. The familiar warmth he usually felt on his neck was gone and he knew the mark had gone with it. Elias had no idea how long his boyfriend had been trying to remove the Mark, but his pure hysteria had probably left him oblivious to the efforts.
Now, today, three weeks after his death, Elias was sitting with his new boyfriend on the floor outside of the kitchen. Tso'sun knew that it wasn't like Elias to move on after the guy that made him happy for the first time in a long time died. At least not so quickly. He hadn't looked like he did when he was with Solaris, but he'd just assumed that his death had broken him.
But now that him and Kit passed him in the hall, his eyes seemed to catch on things he hadn't noticed before: the obvious fading of a spell on his cheekbone, the faint purple of a black eye peeking through. His hair was messy, and he'd usually kept it beyond neat. His fingers were twitching nervously and his eyes were constantly darting to his boyfriend's knuckles.
Tso'sun's green-ish blue eyes narrowed on the purpled knuckles that obviously weren't even trying to be hidden. He felt multiple concerned gazes on him and he realised he'd just been standing and staring. He coughed awkwardly and started walking again.

The next time Tso'sun noticed something, it was even more obvious. He was walking past Elias's door with Seri, talking about how to help his mate's digestive system when he heard a groan from inside of his room. Seri had dismissed it like he was just doing... dirty stuff, but Tso'sun had fought by Elias too many times to not know he was in pain.
As much as he wanted to go see if he was okay, he was distracted by the sudden pain of his girlfriend through the link. He felt it right in his gut, so he was forced to abandon the situation and check on her, because sometimes her digestive system got so bad that she had to be helped to the infirmary.

By the time Elias's weak spells couldn't cover the damage and he was limping, Tso'sun had snapped. He had been studying them closer and multiple times shot insults at Elias's boyfriend. Elias had flinched at the pissed off look on his face, unable to speak when he snapped at him for not getting defensive.
When his boyfriend joined him, his cheeks were flushed from obviously being drunk. Tso'sun's jaw tightened but he held back, not wanting to do anything too rash. He still wasn't sure that the guy was hitting his best friend, so he couldn't do what he wanted and just strangle the jerk.
Elias was just poking at his food when his boyfriend growled, "Are you going to eat?" and he jumped.
Tso'sun watched with narrowed eyes and pursed lips, having set down his Danish, and saying that that was strange would be an understatement. His appetite was completely gone as Elias withered under his boyfriend's drunken gaze.
"Of course," he said, obviously trying hard to keep his voice steady. "Don't have to yell." He mumbled.
His boyfriend's face went stony. "Did you just back-talk?"
Elias's golden eyes were wide and fearful. "N-No, I-,"
Everyone was frozen when the drunk guy publicly slapped Elias. There was a shocked silence, Seri's bowl clattering to the floor when she bumped it, having jumped. Elias's eyes were wide and his knuckles were white as he clutched the table. The small group of people sitting at the table was obviously burning with tension.
Tso'sun got up so suddenly that he scared poor Elias, probably because he was so on edge right now. "You have about three fucking seconds." He growled.
His boyfriend didn't hesitate to cower away from him, quickly getting up. Tso'sun kept his promise to wait three seconds, though not the way he had implied. He hurried after him.
Let's just say you could hear many unpleasant... beating noises.
