Sitting glumly on the bed in the cold room, I let myself cry. Tears fell, my chest ached. I felt like I'd just been torn in half. My family and the guy I love are back in Arcadia. I'm here in Tir Na Nog. Cold and worried. A knock on my door. I heaved in a breath and I dried my eyes. I walked to the door and cracked it open a smidge. The faerys here prey on the weak. I won't be their first target. Not by a long shot. I saw Sage. The eldest Winter Prince. Still handsome, but alot kinder than Ash and Rowan. "What can I do for you your highness?" I ask politely. He sighs. "Come now Princess. I am not as hateful as my brothers. May I come in?" He says. I sigh, but allow him entrance to my room. He looks around and shuts the dood quickly. "You should be careful. Queen Mab is planning to use you against your court. Ash is keen to make you his and Rowan wants revenge on Ash from long ago. Be careful who you trust. Don't trust anyone here. Not even me" he says quickly, daring a glance around the room. "Be very very careful Princess. Trouble and danger lurk around every corner" he continues and slips out the door, closing it behind him. I lock it and sit back on the bed. I heed his advice. Trust no one. Not even Sage himself.
