I heard the click of the lock and saw Ash step into the room, closing the door quietly behind him. He bows his head. "Greetings Princess" he says softly. I keep my face blank. "Hello Prince Ash" I reply cooly, bowing my head slightly as well. "I fear, that my time here is coming to an End, Prince Ash. I cannot stay here much longer. My court needs me" I state calmly. Ash stiffens. "No. You aren't leaving!" he snarls, voice and eyes turning cold and terryfying. I keep a level gaze and keep my emotions from my face. "And why not?" I ask. He growls. "Because you need to stay here. I need you here" he replies. I sigh heavily. "No. You think you do. I am Summer, you are Winter. I must return to Arcadia. If I don't my father will bring a war" I explain. He growls again. "NO!" he roars. I stiffen. "You aren't leaving Valerie. I cannot allow it" he snaps. I turn my back to him and he storms out the door, slamming it behind him.
