Backstory - Eleanor was born to a French family , where her father was an advisor to Napoleon the third and her mother was a famous singer . The family lived in luxury and eventually . Eleanor and her mother moved to London to help her acting career , this is where at 23, she met 18 year old Lewis Kenderson . The two fell in love and got married less then two months later . At 25 , Eleanor gave birth to their children and the couple lived a life fit for royalty . Sadly , one night while staying late at work , Lewis was attacked by a former stage hand and killed in the attack. Eleanor vowed revenge against the killer , she used an old book to summon a reaper which turned out to be Grell . Eleanor invited Grell to her shows as a way to pay it back .
