We where all sitting around the wooden table, eating our Thai food. It would've been awkward if Tony wasn't here, mostly because Tony never shuts up.

"And the audacity that man had," Tony shook is his head slowly looking down at his food.

"The audacity he had," I copied Tony sarcastically earning a small chuckle from Peter. Tony ignored me and continued to complain about the mean old man who worked the register at the Thai place.

"Anyways, what did you do today?" Tony asked me as he pushed some food around his fork. Thoughts rain wild in my mind trying to think of the perfect plan to construct that had no loose ends. I kept a straight face, all the thoughts in my head running around frantically.

"Spent the day at Bree and Finn's," I say nonchalantly. "Do those two ever go to school?" Tony frowned. "They do online school." I quickly lied. Peter was staring directly at me, his eyes burning holes in my face, he knew I was lying. "They do online school? In New York?" Tony frowned. "Uh yeah they got bullied in school so yeah." I lied straight to my father's face but he just nodded understandingly.

"I was thinking about putting you in school again " Tony suggested. I nearly choked on my noodles and I began to cough on my own saliva until I drank from my glass of water. Once I had calmed myself I spoke.

"What?" I muttered. "Oh now listen, your still a kid and you need to go to school, make friends and learn. You need those experiences in life, highschool was the best days of my life and I just want you to experience that." Tony rambled on. Okay mister multimillionaire I highly doubt highschool was the highlight of your life but sure.

"I swear I will burn down another school." I threatened. "You burned down a school?" Peter buds in with wide eyes and the stupid innocent voice he has.

"That's not important," Tony spoke over Peter. "You're not doing that again because that was a whole lot of paper work and a whole lot of headaches." Tony was beginning to become flustered as he pointed his fork towards me.

"I am not a cow! You can't just milk me Bonnie," Tony says. The whole dinner table falls silent. "You know, that came out wrong," Tony said as he frustratedly wipped hand over his mouth. I looked over at Peter who was trying to contain his laughter.

"I know what you meant and I guess it just kinda hurts that you think I am only here for your money. I don't need to go to school, I have friends and I am already good at engineering. I don't want to sit in a classroom for six hours with a bunch of assholes. You know, assholes like Flash Thompson." I say looking over to Peter who had a sad look on his face while he stared at me.

"You could go to Peter's school," Tony suggested. "No offense Peter," I say looking over to the boy and then back to Tony. "But I'd rather The Hulk step on my throat."

"Understandable, thats understandable." Peter agrees pointing his fork towards us.

"What? You are taking her side now?" Tony askes as if he was a little betrayed. Peter just shrugged and looked food at his food, scrapping it with his fork.

"Okay, okay no school." Tony grunted throwing his hands up, knowing I had won. "But you have to work out a plan B, you can't work for me for the rest of your life. What are you supposed to do when I end up in the box huh? I am not going to lie, a lot of my staff here either don't like or are scared of you and the second I am not here they'd just shove you out. I know they are bastards but that's what they would do to prevent you from running the place. And then Bucky would throw a traturm and burn the place down, then everyone looses." Tony explains.

"Big scary business man has everything all figured out." I say looking down at my noodles in a plastic container. Considering how rich we aren't really living the high life right now.

"This isn't a joke Bonnie," Tony says firmly. "How about you just turn your head sixty degrees to your left and talk to Peter, since all you want to do is pick fights with me." I say. Peter looked at me with big eyes to not bring him into the father-daughter binkering. Tony went silent for a few seconds, I really wish I knew what he was thinking right now.

"Well big scary business man is sorry because he is very tired." Tony says in a softened tone. He seemed to realise how foward and aggrovated he had gotten with me.

"So Peter, how was your day," Tony asked suddenly in a brightened mood towards Peter.

"Well uh, I had a chemistry test today and that kinda sucked when I couldn't find my book," Was all he said. I looked over to the cabinet the Tv sits on and saw the book.

"You dropped it on the ground on the way to the subway, its over there," I say to Peter as I directed his eyesight to his book sitting on the cabinet across the room. "Thanks," He says looking right at me but I kept my head down.

I looked over at the clock on the wall it was only seven and I sighed in frustration. I ate the last of my food and retreated to the kitchen.

"Is she okay?" Peter whispered from the other room. My enhanced hearing listened in on the conversation.

"I don't know, she's not usually that nice." Tony sarcastically said. I wasn't sure if that was meant for a joke. But that conversation was soon over. I was hidden away in the kitchen with my head against a cabinet. All I could feel was sadness.

Tony only thought of me as a lowlife teenager taking his money for their own good. But I never really take his money unless I needed it for clothes or food. He still saw me as a parasite. We used to have a really strong relationship but when work got tougher he wasn't around as much and that forced me to make friends with a scary war solider dude with one arm.

I rubbed my eyes underneath my glasses forcing myself to not break down right there. I pulled myself together and walked past Peter who was just walking into the kitchen with two empty containers.

"Goodnight sweetheart," Tony called after me as I walked down my dark hallway. I ignored him because I didn't want him to hear my croaky-on-the-verge-of-crying-voice.

Once I reached my bed I just layed there and stared out my large bay window as raindrops began to slide down the window.

"You should go talk to her," Peter says as I listen carelly. "Maybe I shouldn't, she'll rip my head off," Tony replied. I wouldn't do that.

"I don't think she'd do that;" Peter defended me. "Hey, maybe you go talk to her," Tony suddenly said.

"What? Mr Stark! No I can't do that. I can't talk to girls," Peter began to freak. "Especially to make them feel better," He added.

"Oh come on Bonnie would be great practice and then you can delve into the world of girls," Tony says as I heard him pat Peter on the shoulder. "Notice my use of the word practice." He mentioned quickly.

"Mr Stark I don't want to delve into anything," Peter says quickly. "I hope you understand that she is probably listening to everything we are saying right now," Tony says nonchalantly.

"Shoot," Peter mumbled he seemed to always forget that. "Just leave me alone," I say knowing Peter would be the only one to hear.

"I think we should just go," Peter says. "She say somethin' to you?" Tony asks angrily. "No," Peter replied quickly.

"That's it," Tony grunted. I heard him storm towards my bedroom. I used my abilities to slam my bedroom door shut and lock it while I kept my very still position on my bed.

"Bonnie open the door," Tony said banging his fists against the wooden door.

"I don't think she wants to talk to you," Peter calls down the hallway. "Thanks kid but shut up," Tony responded as he stopped banging on the door. I heard him sigh. "I am trying," He whispered.

"Kid we are leaving" Tony abruptly says. "Get your stuff let's go," He added, his footsteps against the wooden floor were sharp and quick. I didn't want Peter to go.

"Hey! No shooting webs inside," Tony hissed. "Uh, right sorry I'll get that," Peter says quickly as I heard his fast footsteps.I soon my front door shut and I was all alone.

Maybe I should of just let him in.
