The atmosphere was dim and smokey as a bon fire was in the middle of the under cover area. Old, ugly couches where surrounding the fire with drunk and highly troubled teenagers lazing around. I held my beer in my hands, the only drink I'll be having tonight. The sky began to darken and I knew Tony would begin to wonder where I was. Finn was talking to some girl with huge boobs bulging out of her stained, white singlet. The girl went by the name of Burmese, a type of highly valued cat, her nickname in my opinion was a little obnoxious but I am not really one to judge the people here.

"Oi Rogue," Some teenage boy by the name of Monty said, grabbing my attention. "What?" I answered. "Have a smoke with me?" He slurred with a small smile. I have known Monty for as long as I've lived in New York, seven years we where pretty close even though he was two years older then me.

"I don't do that anymore," I stated firmly. Monty sat back in his three seater couch with a small smirk on his face. "I like this chick, she got some sense in her." He says opening a new packet of cigarettes. He spoke about me as if I was a new person, like I had multiple personalities, few soft chuckles from other group members rang through my ears. Monty had dark long hair that curled around his ears, his eyes where as dark as his hair, his ascents matching. He had a small amount of stumble growing over his cheeks, he had a bennie pulled over his curles in attempt to tame his head of hair. He was very pale which I always found strange as he was always outside in the sun, not that I am suggesting he is a vampire as that would be extremely strange.

"So what have you been up to Rogue? I haven't seen ya in a while begining to think that you forgot about me," He chuckles. "How could I ever forget about you?" I say leaning back in my seat. He narrowed my eyes on me trying to figure me out.

"You have an excellent poker face? You play anymore?" Monty questioned taking a drag of his cigarette and releasing the toxic fumes from his mouth. "No, I don't got no money to play for." I lied perfectly.

He chuckles lightly and looks down at the beer bottle he was holding between his thighs. "We both know thats a lie." He smiles smugly. A man suddenly sat beside me he reeked of drugs. His hair was long and untamed as his beard was dirty. His blue eyes seemed dead and he clung to an unamed bottle wrapped in a paper bag.

"What are you doin' out here?" He smiled widely as he leaned in closer to me, I looked at the man with a blank stare.

"Fuck off." I simply answered staring him directly in his dead eyes. "Well, what if I don't wanna." He smirked edging closer.

"Well why don't you listen to what the girl said and fuck off," Monty snapped suddenly as he stood to his feet, standing in front of the sitting man, towering over him in an intimidating fashion. He suddenly jumped to his feet and waddled away as if he was terrified of Monty, which would be understandable as he is famous on this streets for fighting eveyone knows who he is.

"I didn't need you to help me," I told Monty as he sat back down in his seat. "I know, I just hate that guy, prowling on all ma girls." He spat hatefully.

"I am not yours," I stated firmly. "You might not be in my crew anymore but I am still gonna look out for ya." He says looking straight at me. I looked into the flames of the fire at our feet as a member of Monty's gang throws a cigarette butt into the fire and I watched it disappear into nothing.

"All these years Rogue," Monty begins attracting my attention. "All these years and I still don't know your real name," He finished as he took a swig of his beer. He always brings this up, not knowing my real name and it was irritating.

"No one does," I replied quickly avoiding eye contact. "Finn does," Monty stated as his gazed drifted to the boy who was separated from the group, making out with Burmese on a manky old couch.

"Finn's different." I say looking back to Monty. "You tell me how you hold such a tight platonic relationship with him, that you don't have with me." He asked narrowing his eyes. "I am not obligated to answer any of your questions." I say standing to my feet and putting my jacket on my body.

"Finn lets go!" I yelled over to the boy. His head perked up and he looked over at me with a pleading look. I stomped over to him and grabbed his arm, pulling him off the girl.

"Come on, no sex for you tonight we are leaving." I say as I turned by back on Monty and left the darkened alley.

"Lovely to see you again Rogue!" Monty called but I ignored him and we reached my mustard yellow jeep. It was dark out and the sky was filled with stars. I began driving down the unpopulated streets.

"What was that all about?" Finn asked running a hand through his curly hair. "Just got mad." I simply answered not taking my eyes of the road.

"You get mad all the time, but you don't just get up and leave." Finn says. I felt his gaze burn into the side of my face and I exhaled roughly.

"He's onto me, asking about my name. He can't find out who I am, Finn. If he finds out, Tony finds out and then I have to tell Tony I was in a gang for six years. And that is not going to go down well, he might even disown me, throw me in a damn orphanage we he should've put me." I ranted. As I had finished venting I took a deep breath and focused on stopping at the red light.

"Tony would never disown you, Bonnie. He loves you like you are his daughter and if you can't see that you are a dumb fuck." He replied as he looked out the window noticing his familiar street. I pulled up at his apartment building and watched him open the passenger side door and get out.

"Thanks Finn," I say. "Don't worry about it," He replied looking down the street to his left. "Tell Bree I said Hi," I said.

"Don't make me talk to my sister," He frowned. "Bye Finn," I chuckled and he shut the passenger side door and sent me off with a wave.

Once I had parked my car in the garage and entered the small staircase and walked across the lobby, ignoring all of Tony's staff and their damn smiles. I walked up another two flights of stairs until I reached the large hallway that held many empty apartment rooms. I looked to my front door, and saw Peter was leaning against the wall in his spiderman suit, asleep. He didn't have his mask on and I crept closer to the sleeping boy. His hair was a wild curly mess and his school bag was laying on the grey carpet beside him as I bent down in front of him.

"Peter." I said. His eyes immediately opened and he looked around with a confused expression on his face. Reality seemed to sink into his brain as he looked at me.

"I- uh, I was tired." He announced rubbing his eyes.

"I can see that, why are you asleep, outside my apartment?" I questioned. "Uh well um, the door was locked and I didn't know where you were so I kinda just sat here and yeah" He says awkwardly.

"Why did you just call me?" I frowned, trying to figure out the reasoning behind his stupid decsions.

"I don't have your phone number?" He said rubbing the back of his neck. He seemed very uncomfortable and tired.

"You could've asked the computer in your suit," I say gesturing to the mask that was crumpled up in his fist.

"You mean Karen? My suit lady?" He asked looking at the mask in his hand.

"You called it Karen?" I chuckled softly. "Well, yeah." He shrugged in reply, he seemed confused about why the name Karen was funny to me.

I stood back up shoving the key in my door and opening it, Peter stayed on the carpet staring at his feet."You coming in or are you just going to stay there?" I asked him before I walked in the doorway and left the door open.

My phone began to ring and I quickly answered it, pressing the device to the side of my face as Peter walked in the door.

"Hey sweetheart, I am getting us some Thai for dinner, do you know where the kid is? He completely disappeared after training and his suit tracker isn't working." Tony spoke. I looked over to Peter who was pretending to not be able to hear the conversation.

"Oh Peter's with me," I said nonchalantly. "What?" Tony blurts. "Why?" He continued. "Because I found the poor kid asleep in the hallway, you didn't even give him a place to stay. He isn't my responsibility, if you don't look after him properly his Aunt will-"

"Okay, okay I don't need a lecture from you, thats my job." Tony interrupted.

"I'll be there soon, I don't do anything I would do, bye." He says in a rush and hung up on me. I let my hand fall onto the kitchen bench and let go of my phone. I looked up at Peter who stood awkwardly in the middle of the room.

"Hope you like Thai," I say. Peter stood stiff in the middle of the room and nodded his head slowly.

"Are you okay?" I frowned. I wasn't sure if he was just being really awkward or if he was about to have a seizure. Suddenly, he seemed to snap back into reality.

"Yeah," He said shaking his head a little. "Yeah," He repeated trying to ensure himself.

"What is it?" I asked in a worried tone. "It's just-" He began looking directly at me. "Something doesn't feel right, like I was missing something. But it doesn't matter it's gone now." He spoke dropping his school bag to the floor.

"Well go have a shower I can smell you from here," I stated rudely. He nodded his head slightly and walked down the dark halway and the light was soon flicked on.

"Don't leave any man hairs in my bathroom!" I yelled after him. He didn't reply, but I wouldn't reply to that kind of a comment either.

Dinner with Tony Stark and Peter Parker, just kill me now.
