Your cheeks tturned to its red cue slightly as you finished your second large serving of food. You looked up at the Sabertooth mage, smiling sheepishly.

"I-I'm just hungry." You tried to explain yourself.

Rogue just looked at you in amusement, resting his elboe on the table while his cheek was pressed against the palm of his hand. You ate for a while more before looking at him again.

"You wanted to know how I knew Gajeel?" You asked.

Rogue nodded, before remembing you were blind. "Yes."

You faced down slightly, setting the utensils down on the plate. Rogue noticed that your expression had changed, as if remembing something painful. He almost wanted to apologize, but he couldn't just let go his chance about Gajeel.

Much to his suspicion, you suddenly just looked up at him and smiled. "He just helped me when I was in trouble since I knew Natsu.

She is clearly hiding something,

Rogue thought, his eyes narrowing.

About herself. So I should not pry in on that further.

"I'm surprised Gajeel would help you." Rogue muttered. But again, he was surprised that he himself had saved you back then. Maybe it's just because he saw you as a helpless blind girl at that time.

No, that couldn't be it. You are a capable person. So that couldn't be it. It must be because he knew that you were close to Gajeel. Yep, that has to be it. But still, anyone would naturally want to help someone who is innocent and blind.

You just shrugged in response, getting up. "Yeah, I was kind of surprised too."

Rogue stared as you turned to head toward the door, the same expression on your face once again. Just what exactly were you hiding?

At Night

Both you and Rogue walked side by side under the moonlight. You had decided to head home on your own, but Rogue surprisingly asked to let him walk you home. He asked several things about Gajeel and yourself on the way, so that has to be the reason.

As you reached your house, you turned to the Shadow Dragon Slayer, bowing slightly. "T-Thank you Rogue."

"There is no need to thank me." Was all he said. He suddenly remembered about the Raven Tail's attack on you earlier, and he wondered why they were after such a girl. But he can't possibly ask that to someone he just met. He'd do the same if it were any other person too. You were just the most reliable source of information on Gajeel. Yes, thats it. (That part is mean but that isnt it! It's something else too o.o)

Or he kept telling himself.

"So this is goodbye?"

His eyes widened slightly as the breeze blew on cue, the wind caressing your hair smoothly to the side, your ponytail whipping in the wind. Flew flower petals and daffodil seeds as well. The moon shone behind you under the dark night, and for some reason, Rogue found himself getting slightly awestrucked by the sight.

However, he realized that you had the same painful expression. He involuntarily stepped foward slightly towards you, reaching a hand out. He hesitated, for a moment, but then found his hand resting on your hair. He stroked your hair slightly, finding it smooth and soft.

After a slight moment of silence, Rogue inhaled deeply. "We might see each other again during the events."

He quickly moved his hand away. After earning a nod and a relieved smiled from you, he turned to leave.

His eyes eyes then narrowed as he headed back to his guild. "Master's going to have an audience."
