Rocket followed her friends through the forest. The sun was setting, and in the distance they could hear the sound of humans following them. The had left at dawn but the humans had tracked them and were still following. Rocket listened to the sounds of the forest around her they had traveled far not wanting to risk flying Incase the humans saw them and shot them down. Sky and Galvin has not been happy when Rocket returned saying that she had flown a little too close to the human settlement. Rocket looked around as the sky darkened.

She stumbled slightly as a log seemed to come out of nowhere. She looked around and noticed the thick fog rolling in. She hurried to catch up to her friends and stopped. She looked around, she felt as if she were being watched. She searched for he area almost stepping on a blue ball of fluff. "Oh Neptune" she says slightly startled she lowers her talon  and the small cat hops on it. She lifts her talon up to her shoulder where the blue cat leaps into her back and sits down. Rocket couldn't shake the feeling she was being watched. With a worried sound she hurried to catch up to her friends that were disappearing into the fog.

She yelped as something caught her foot and she fell to the floor with a yelp. She scrambled back up and looked around for Neptune. She almost didn't spot a muddy ball of cat staring at her with a humorous and slightly annoyed look. Rocket snorted and scooped the cat up placing her on her back before looking around for her friends. Her eyes flash with worry when she doesn't spot her friends anywhere. "Sky, Galvin" she calls pacing in a circle. "Sky" "Galvin" she calls again. "Neptune where are they" she says looking around. She freezes when she spots two purple eyes watching them.

She takes a step towards the eyes realizing that there was a dragon standing there watching her. Before she could call out the dragon whirled around and disappeared into the darkness. Rocket shivered slightly and decided to go in the direction she believed Sky and Galvin had gone in. She took a step in that direction only to run into a tree. "What in the world" she mumbles rubbing her nose. She shook her head and looked for where she had tripped maybe she left a mark and could follow that. She searches for a minute not finding anything. With a sigh she gives up feeling defeated "at least it seems the humans have given up" she tells Neptune who was still perched on her back. The small cat nuzzled Rockets neck  lightly as if to say it was alright. "I still don't understand why G named you Neptune" she says remembering that conversation with a laugh. Galvin had returned with a ball of blue fluff sitting on his shoulder. When she asked why he had brought a ball of fluff with him he explained it was a cat. On closer inspection she realized it was a cat with strange blue fur and violet eyes that reminded Rocket of her own. He then told her that he had decided to name the  cat Neptune. With a confused look she had then asked him why he named him Neptune. Galvin had then corrected her by saying "She just looked like a Neptune" Rocket then apologized with a laugh. She sighed "I'm glad we didn't eat you when we had the chance" she says to Neptune reaching up to stroke the cats fur.

With a sigh she stood up and started to go in a random direction. After walking for what seemed like forever she sat down. "Where are we Neptune" she asks looking around the foggy forest. Rockets head snaps up at the sound of a twig snapping somewhere not far away. She stands up hissing defensively "who's there" she growls into the darkness. There was no response she stayed in a defensive position growling waiting for something. After waiting for what seemed like hours but had actually only been a few minutes she sits back down with a sigh. "I'm just being jumpy" she says trying to reassure herself. She lay down under a tree watching the dog swirl around her. She felt Neptune lead off her back and pad up to the crook of her stomach and lay down sheltered by Rockets wing. Rocket stay still watching the darkness as her eyes start to grow heavy. She closes her eyes and lets sleep take over.

Rocket woke to the sound of humans yelling she attempts to lift her head just to find she can't. She tries to lift her wing and stand up but it seemed nothing was working. She felt a jolt of fear when she spotted humans. The humans where yelling at each other as if they where having trouble deciding on something none of them had noticed that Rocket had woken up. She could feel something move under her wing and spotted a flash of blue fur cowering under her wing. Rocket releases a angered roar and once again attempted to stand up. There was still no success the only thing that had done was alert the humans to her consciousness. One humans with black fur on his head was holding something that reminded her of something she had seen called bamboo once. He pulled something out of a pouch and put it inside the wood thing pointing it towards her and waiting. She decided that the humans were the reason she couldn't move properly. The other humans walked out of Rockets view and are back a moment later with long mettle ropes. She spotted mod humans coming all on horse back and it seemed the horses where dragging a large plank type thing behind them. She felt something heavy on her back and spotted the humans with the long ropes tossing them over her back, tail, wings, and neck. One of the humans who had just arrived on his horse hoped off and pulled a large mettle rind off the horses back. Slowly it approached her head. Even though she couldn't move she gave of a fierce growl. The humans stopped for a moment before continuing to approach her. Once her was close enough to touch her he pressed something on the mettle ring which caused it to snap open he lowered himself onto his knees and put one half the mettle thing under her lower jaw. He took the second piece and snapped it down over the top of her muzzle. She attempted to roar but the ring kept her mouth closed.

The humans with the bourse came over with the plank and started to push her limp body towards the plank. She attempted to move but nothing happened. She tried to roar but her mouth was still held in place by the ring. She felt wood beneath her and realized they had placed her on the plank attached to the horses. She felt Neptune still hiding under her wing the tiny cat was still safe. 'But for how much longer' Rocket asked silently. There was a jerk and the horses started to pull and she realized they were moving. She watched in horror as she was dragged away from her friends and family and silently pleaded they would be able to find her.
