Finally Home

*Aydon's POV*

I'm moving home. After three long years I'll be able to see all of my friends again. I doubt they'll recognize me. At thirteen years old I had to leave everything. My appearance has had some major changes since then. At least I get to live in Sunnyside trailer park, again.

"Chickadee you ready to hit the road?" Davidson, my uncle, yelled up the stairs to me.

"Yes Uncle D. Give me a minute. I have to pack my posters and pictures. And please don't call me Chickadee." I answered my uncle.

"Okay Chica." He replied with a chuckle.

I sigh and carefully start taking down my posters. I keep thinking about my brother like friend, Jughead. What he looks like now, what he does as a hobby, did he join the serpents like I had planned to do even though he didn't want to, who are his friends now?

As I thought I didn't realize I had taken down every poster and picture frame. I fold the boxes closed and call my uncle up. We take the last few of my boxes down to the car and place them into the hitched on trailer. I walk back up and grab my mom's old jacket. Everyone at my school thought it was a band, but really it's a family like gang. The Southside Serpents.

My mother had been a serpent, my father joined the Ghoulies when he found out mom was in the Southside Serpents. Not even a week after he joined them he started abusing me, my mom, and my little sister Kayna. A year later he murdered mom and Kayna, then avoiding reprimanding the coward's way, while I was out hanging out with Jughead and his friends Betty, and Archie.

I slip the jacket on and go down to my uncle's car. I buckled the seat belt and rested my head on the window. My uncle started the car and pulled out of the drive way carefully. I watched as our old home got smaller with distance. We didn't live that far away from Riverdale, but far enough that I had time to catch up on sleep during the car ride. Before I went to sleep my uncle spoke up.

"Aydon, did you know your father wasn't Alistair Holmes, your mother's husband? Alistair and Hollidae got married when you was three years old. He insisted on keeping you out of family pictures, until you were six," Dave said.

I was in shock. All this was a lot to take in. I knew there had to have been a reason why I rarely saw myself in pictures. I knew there had to be some deep seeded reason to why he raped me all the time.

"Then who is my father?" I asked, my voice cracking a bit at the word 'father'.

"Forsythe Jones the second," was all he said.

My best friend is my brother. I stared out the window and rested my head against the cold glass. As the trees flew by and the thoughts swirled around my head, I fell asleep.

~ time skip to Riverdale~

I was shaken awake and I looked out the window to get a sense of where I was. We were in Sunnyside Trailer Park. It was a tad bit more run down than I remember it to be, but that's okay. I was finally home again. I got out the car and quickly drug all my boxes into the house.

"I'm going Jughead's house. He's FP's son," I said.

I knew Dave wouldn't know who Juggy was, but I knew he went to school with FP. He even knew his real name. So I added that little tid bit.

"Okay. Tell Jones I said hey, and don't wear your mom's jacket. Serpents are territorial especially when it comes to non-members," my uncle said.

I nodded, took off my mom's jacket and ran to Jughead's trailer. I knocked on the door and Jughead answered. When he saw me his face lit up in happiness, disbelief and shock. A weird combination on his face, but I had the same look. He was wearing a Serpents jacket.

"So you roll with the SS, now?" I asked.

"Yeah, that a problem?" Jughead hissed.

"No. God no, Juggy. I still wear my mom's jacket, waiting for the day it will be my official jacket," I said.

"No. No way am I going to allow my best friend do the Serpent Dance. I definitely won't let you do the Gauntlet. I couldn't stop Haylee, but I sure as hell can stop you," Jughead ranted.

I was shocked. My mom did the Serpent Dance. My grandmother did the Serpent Dance. All the women in my family did  the Serpent Dance and I had been taught the family's special dance since I was four, well until my mom died.

"Jug, my mom taught me the family dance. She told me how you do the dance. Once we're settled in I'm going to FP and I'm joining the Serpents. I will not let down my family legacy," I said.

Jughead looked at me as if I had ten heads. His eyes said it all. He didn't want the filthy hands of someone in the Serpents to touch me.

"Alright Jug. Spill. Who do you not want to see my lingerie?" I laughed softly.

"All the men. They'll defile you if they got the chance. Especially, and most likely more to happen, Sweet Pea," Jughead confessed.

"I doubt FP would let anyone lay a harmful finger on his eldest daughter," I accidentally let slip.

Jughead's eyes go big. I just realized what I did. I stripped FP of his right to be the one to tell Juggy. I let a gasp slip out my lips and my eyes start to water at the thought of what I have done.

"I.. I should get going. I need to talk to FP." I state and turn to leave.

A hand caught my elbow and turned me around. I hung my head letting my hair hid my face. I didn't want him to see the tears.

"I'm shocked you're my sister. Half or not. My best friend, but we need to tell dad. If he wants to tell me himself, I'll try to act surprised the best I can. But I still stand by what I said. Even more so, now that I know you're my sister. But that also means dad cheated on my mom, because you're a few months younger than me," Jughead explained.

I just nodded and he brought me into a tight, but comforting, hug as I sob my lungs out into his grey 'S' shirt. My sobs were so intense neither Jughead or I heard the front door open.

"What's going on here, boy?" I heard a voice ring out.

It was a gruff voice I remember from when I was younger. I composed myself and wiped my face before turning to face him. He looked somewhat familiar, yet I didn't know who it was.

"When did this chick arrive? And why are they at your trailer? Boy, I don't think FP would approve of this," the man said.

"Three hours ago. My uncle Davidson and I just moved three trailers down. I came to visit an old friend, Jughead here. I was also looking for FP, do you know where he is?" I asked, my voice dry and crackling from the sobbing.

"He's at Shankshaw, why you need him?" The man growled.

"Tone it down, Tall Boy, she's Hollidae Ryan's daughter," Jughead said.

"Is that so? She doesn't look much younger than you, your father cheat on your mother?" 'Tall Boy' said with amusement.

I started at him, shock and hurt coating my green hues, but I am not going to show weakness. The man stared at me, waiting for a retort. We stayed like this, glaring daggers into each other's souls, until Jughead snapped me out of my deep hate filled thoughts.

"Uh.. Tall Boy, I think you should leave. Whatever be the reason for your visit, I'm sure it can wait until tomorrow," Jughead said breaking the deadly tension between me and the older man.

The man just grunted and turned to the door. He roughly pulled it open and then went out it, slamming it closed behind him.

I flinched at the loud sound. I was raised to always expect a beating or rape after a loud sound or a raised voice. Jughead noticed my sudden action and wrapped an arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him.

"Don't worry about Tall Boy. He's really as harmless as a butterfly," Jughead said.

"That's exactly why I should worry about him. He didn't vibe right with me. I get along with everyone I meet unless they have already assumed who I am based off my mom. Juggie, it's always the pretty butterflies that are poisonous. It's always the non-poisonous looking snake that's the deadliest," I said.

"You're smarter than you let on Aydon Grace. You're right though, I've honestly been keeping an eye on him since I officially joined the serpents. He's wanted me gone for a little bit, but I think nothing of it because he hardly likes anyone. But I have reason to believe he's in cahoots with the Ghoulies," Jughead said.

"I knew I shouldn't trust him. Ghoulies ruined my life, I developed what I call the evil gang sense. It came in handy a lot, but some in North Carolina knew about it and some how fooled my senses. Anyways, when can I see dad?" I said.

After a while of hanging out and catching up with Jughead I went home. My room had been fixed up and dinner was on the table. A bag from Pop's. A vanilla shake sat beside the bag. A note beside the bag from Dave.

'Went to announce to the Serpents I'm back in town. Don't wait up because I leave for Greendale afterwards. Stay safe. ~Dave'

After reading the note I sat down. He was trying to earn money so we could move to Northside. He said it's where he grew up and were I would have grew up. He said mom only moved to the Southside when she joined the Serpents, when she was seventeen.

I drank my milkshake and watched the live action Beauty and a Beast. I put all the burgers in the fridge so I have food later. I'm not hunger right now. Once the movie was over I got in my pajamas and went to bed.

Today was a long day, but I'm glad to be finally home.
