RICHIE'S HAVING A MID LIFE CRISIS.

With the renovations to the restaurant, Richie's started to notice that just maybe he doesn't have much to offer. He's not fancy, or stiff. He can barely spell the things Carmy talks about, let alone know what it is. So when he finds a stray cat behind the building that looked like it had been in the ring with Mike Tyson, he decided that he had a purpose with the cat.

Cat Scratch Clinic is a small veterinary hospital with only two vets and a few extra hands. It's small and you'd probably miss it if you weren't looking for it. Which is how Richie came across it at eleven o'clock at night.

Kamaria Faruha loves animals. Her purpose in life is to give these sweet creatures as much care and as much love as she possibly can. So, when she spots Richie outside their locked door with that poor cat, she can't turn him away. She doesn't even notice Richie at first, only the tom cat covered in blood. And, despite his big personality, he felt rather small in that building. Watching as she took care of the cat.

It was only supposed to be a one time thing. Get the cat, take it to a vet, and wipe his hands clean. Yet, when he hears that tom cat meowing in pain and sees the sadness that washes over the vet's eyes, he feels inclined to see this to the end. His bank account be damned.

RUMI'S NOTES.
BASICALLY richie found an injured stray, took him to the vet, and then started fostering. but since the cat's injuries are so bad, he has to keep bringing him back.

thus a friendship is born between them. and then understanding, and then maybe a lil bit of affection. it's just kam showing richie that he has a bigger purpose in the world, even if it isn't for the restaurant. and she basically becomes him hype man.

richie deserves a good woman, y'all.
