Team 7 was sitting lazily in their room in the tower. There was nothing to do. The second stage would be over tomorrow, meaning there were several other teams in the tower. Several other teams that Team 7 did not want to meet unless absolutely necessary.

"Sasuke." Naruto drawled, "Why can't we go outside again?" Sasuke let out a puff of air and rolled his eyes.

"Because I don't want to be bombarded with questions."

"Questions about what 'ttebayo?"

"The unconscious Iruka and genjutsu-ed Orochimaru that we left in the common room."

"Ohh yeah! I remember that now dattebayo!" Sakura glared half-heartedly at her two friends from her place on the couch.

"Shut up, both of you. I want to get as much sleep as possible for tomorrow." Naruto and Sasuke exchanged evil grins. They both stood up at the same time and made their way to their private kitchenette. Sasuke returned with three large spoons, followed by Naruto balancing several saucepans on his arms.

All the kitchen items fell to the floor with a "clang". Sakura sat up and rubbed her eyes. "What are you two idiots doing now?" The pinkette jumped out of her skin when she heard the loud sound of metal against metal.

She turned to the source of the loud sound with a glare. But it soon turned into a nostalgic smile when she saw Naruto and Sasuke hitting their spoons against upside-down saucepans. Talk about throwback.

Sakura took a seat across from the two of them and pulled the third saucepan closer to her. Joining her two teammates in making "music". The familiar sound of silverware and saucepans filled their room, reminding them all of the day the three of them met.

Kankuro, along with several other ninja, stood in front of Team 7's door with puzzled expressions. They heard the clanging, it was hard not to. Initially the puppet wielder had assumed that someone was breaking in. But when the loud sounds were followed by laughter, he did a double take. This was the team that took down one of the legendary Sannin? They were acting like children.

Team 7 had left the tower, along with the rest of the teams who passed. They made their way to the arena for the final part of the exam. Once they entered the center of the arena they were greeted by their senseis.

"Uwah! My cute little genin! I was so worried!" Kakashi ran frantically to his team and glomped the three of them. Naruto scrunched his face, his sensei decided to rub his face on the closest person, much to the blonde's dismay. His teammates would have laughed if it wasn't for the fact that the white haired jounin was slowly suffocating them.

"Kakashi-sensei! You're embarrassing us!" Sakura protested, pushing her sensei's head away when he tried to give her the same treatment as Naruto. Kakashi let go of them and pouted, but it was hard to tell because of his mask.

"Kakashi! Are these your youthful genin who took down Orochimaru?" Team 7 paled when they turned to Might Gai, Kakashi's self-proclaimed eternal rival. Their sensei slowly turned his head back to his students.

"You WHAT!" Sakura's face morphed into a sheepish smile.

"Well you see, funny story actually," Sakura was cut off by her sensei, who started ranting angrily about how reckless and dangerous picking a fight with a Sannin was.

By the end of his speech he had his students cowering on the floor, and the attention of the entire arena they were in. Nobody said anything, most of them still trying to wrap their heads around the overly-energetic Kakashi they just witnessed.

The silence was broken when Jiraiya howled in laughter from his spot next to Minato. "Orochi-chan! Those are the genin that took you down? They look like a bunch of brats!"

"Shut up Jiraiya, they're more powerful than they let on." Minato ignored the two bickering ninja next to him and stood up.

Naruto rolled his eyes as his biological father spoke about how the Chunin Exams was a replacement for war and stuff. The only thing that caught his attention was what Minato said at the end of his speech, "And now, on to the final stage of the exam. Team versus Team battles. Matchups will be decided randomly and shown on the screen in front of you."

Sakura looked around in confusion, they were the only team that didn't have a match. But that didn't make sense because there were an even number of teams. One team was fighting twice and she didn't know why. The pinkette turned back to the screen with the matchups when she heard several gasps.

She froze, wide eyed at the words in front of her. This wasn't possible. It was unfair in every sense of the word. Who in their right mind would ever allow this? Why wasn't the Hokage saying anything? Why wasn't anyone protesting this?

"What the hell is that?"

"How come the Sannin are participating in this dattebayo?"

Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke vs. Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru

"Well shit."
