~a week later~

*Ty POV*

We walked to the gate and were meted by Lazari & Penny's parents. They held 3 bags.

"It's dangerous to go alone, take these." Troy (The King) said. Lazari gave along sigh. "Dad, no, just no." Her father chuckled at her comment.

Penny hugged her mom and dad, Lazari did the same. "You sir, don't get any ideas with my daughters-" "Dad, we told you a million times that he doesn't like girls like that." Lazari interrupted.

"Oh right, sorry about that, just, keep them safe." He said. The gates opened. We took our bags and waved goodbye to their parents. We walked out of the gates and kept on going.

Lazari started to hum. Penny was taking pictures of the beautiful nature all around us. She was so distracted she almost ran into a tree twice.

Lazari looked behind us "We walked so far." Penny and I looked behind us to see the kingdom barely in site.

We kept walking until we came across some grass with dry blood stained on it. It was in puddles.

Some grass seemed to be have been dragged over by something heavy. Penny looked at me, then at my missing arm. "Do you think that these might be from you, Ty?" She asked.

I looked at it. The blood was on the same side as my missing arm. "Maybe." I answered. "We should follow the dragged marks anyway, even if it's not from Ty, someone could be injured out here." We nodded at followed the trail.

It lead to a spot where the drag marks stopped and there was only dry blood leading far away from the pound. "These are from me." Penny looked at Lazari.

"That means we could follow them back to your Kingdom!" Lazari said. We walked in the other direction.

~le time skip~

Most of the time was us just walking. The silence was awkward, REALLY awkward. I looked up at the sky, it was yellowish orange.

"We should set up camp for the night." Penny order kindly. Lazari yawned, nodded, then unbacked her bag. She pulled out a tent.

"That's a big tent." I said. We put it up and got inside. There was already sleeping bags instead, which I didn't question because I was so tired.

Lazari fell asleep once she got into her sleeping bag. My eyes started to get droopy after a few minutes of staring at the top of the tent. Slowly I drifted off.

*Penny POV: midnight*

My eyes flutter open. I heard some moving around from inside of the tent. I grabbed a flash light and turned it on.

The light hit something that had a person shape, but it looked kinda like a shadow that belonged to Ty.

But Ty is still asleep.

I looked over at Ty. Still asleep. What ever it was, I could sense how scared it was of me.

It hid behind one of our bags. I reached out to touch it, but my hand went right through. "Did I scare you?" I whispered. It nodded. "I'm sorry." I whispered sweetly. The thing inched closer to me. "It's alright, I won't hurt you." I moved my legs and patted a spot so it could sit down.

It came and sat where I patted. I wish I could see what It's face looked like. It looked at me. "Can you talk?" I asked. It shook it's head.

So I'm going to ask yes or no questions.

"Do you have a gender?" I asked. It pointed to Ty. "So you're a boy?" He nodded.

~Time skip~

I spent the rest of the night talking to him. By the time we were done, the sun was almost up.

He got up. "Will we ever talk again?" I asked. He stopped and nodded. Then he walked into the wall. "Whoa." It kinda shocked me that he could do that. He walked up to my shadow and hugged it.

I could feel it, so I hugged back. "Hope to see you soon." I said. Then the feeling of the hug went away. I looked at the wall to see that he was gone.

What a night.
