Shocking

You were on the streets in City Z in the middle of the night fighting a horde of monsters that had just appeared out of nowhere. No one knew where they had come from yet but it was lucky that you three were all in the area when it happened. There were so many, even Saitama's skills were being put to the test.

You and Genos were lagging in attacks since it was now almost a 3 hours of fighting these things and it didn't look like the monsters' number was lightening up. You were both extremely exhausted. Saitama started to look a little worn out as well. Yet you all continued on.

You lit up the area around you with strikes of lightning as the creatures began to overwhelm you. They burned to crisps but were instantly replaced by more. You sighed heavily and glanced over to see how the others were doing.

Saitama was easily obliterating the monsters into pieces but the only problem was keeping up with the amount coming at him. Genos was looking okay, however you knew that this wasn't the case. His exterior might've seemed fine but a constant struggle of pounding in each attack for hours straight would've surely taken a toll on his brain, the main mechanism controlling his body.

Play the song in the media box if you'd like :)

Just as those concerning thoughts left you, something else forced you back into reality. One of the creatures Genos had knocked away darted back up to him and had its claws ready to strike at him.

"Genos!!!" You screamed at the cyborg.

He turned around a few seconds too late. The monster swung its giant paw at him and sent him flying harshly through a brick building.

You completely forgot about everything and sped over to the enormous hole he crashed through. "Genos!!" You called out to him. There was a thick smoke of debris that impaired your vision as you walked about the store searching for the blond.

Finally, you found him propped up against the rubble slightly dazed. You bent down and grabbed his face in your hands. "Genos! Are you okay? Answer me."

His golden eyes glanced to yours, still unfocused. "(y/n)?"

"Please tell me you're alright, Genos, please," You pleaded anxiously. The synthetic skin on his face charred off on the side and cracked branches extended outward.

He nodded and made to get up. "I'm fine, I'm fine. Don't worry." He staggered as he tried to stand. You pulled his arm around your shoulder and helped him onto his feet then guided the two of you back outside.

Saitama was doing a good job on keeping the monsters at bay but you knew you couldn't leave him to fend for himself the whole time. You were about to tell Genos to sit the rest of this fight out when you felt his hand brush your shoulder.

"(y-y/n)...?"

"What's wrong?" You couldn't hide the worry within you. His body had taken some critical damage, it was a miracle he was still able to use his limbs by how bent and dented they were. His eyes flickered and grew dim at an alarming slow rate.

"I-I....can't...." Genos's voice became almost static-like, his grip on you started to slip. He opened his mouth to say something but instead of words a low drone came out and you lost your hold of him. His full body weight was on you, crushing your arms under their weak strength.

As best you could you laid him down on the pavement and shook him violently in an attempt to wake him up. "Genos!! Please! Open your eyes!" You cried, tears pooling around the corners of your eyes. "Genos!!"

Saitama saw that you had left yourself incredibly wide open and went over to your hysterically screaming form. He got there just in time to punch a monster as it tried to pounce on you. "(y/n)! What's going on!?"

"I-I don't know....." You trembled. "He just stopped all of sudden." You knelt down and put your ear to his mouth. Your eyes widened in panic. "Saitama, he's not breathing!!!" Your heart beat began to spastically thump in your chest. Oh god, if he wasn't breathing then that meant his brain wasn't getting oxygen, and if he didn't get any oxygen....

"Saitama!!!" You shouted as your body shook uncontrollably. Your face was hot with tears that wouldn't stop falling. "He's not breathing!!"

Saitama grit his teeth as he tried to think of something while punching away the incoming monsters. "Give him CPR!" He yelled, struggling with the horde.

"Will that even work!?" You decided that it was better than nothing and tilted Genos's head up and opened his mouth. You took in a huge gulp of air and pressed your mouth to his. You exhaled all the oxygen, placed your hands over his chest, and pressed down.

But just as you thought, his metallic body wouldn't submit to your push. It was as hard and solid as a rock. But even as your brain processed this fact, your heart wouldn't. You jabbed repeatedly down on him with your hands, hoping, praying for it to have some affect on the cyborg. "Genos!!" You sobbed with labored breaths. "Please, please, please...."

Saitama stole quick glances at your form. He gazed sympathetically as you broke yourself down in front of him. "Genos!!!" You shrieked. "Please! Oh god, Genos......no....."

"Try something else!" Saitama shouted.

Something else? What else could you do!? Oh god, if he died......no.......please no........he can't die.......

Your body went into a state of trance and repeatedly tried to give him mouth to mouth. "P-please, Genos, don't leave me....."

Everything in your vision was blurred by your never ending tears. Even as you looked at your Genos's unconscious body you hoped that this was just a nightmare that you were trying to wake up from.

You couldn't lose him, you just couldn't. He was your everything. He was the reason, your drive to wake up and face life head on. Life would be meaningless if he wasn't there to be in it. You loved him so much, oh god you loved so much...... You couldn't even fathom what would happen if he died. Why, why couldn't it have been you to take the hit!?

With trembling lips, your pressed down another mouthful of air into him. Your emotions were so hay wire that it had affected your powers. Without meaning to, you accidently sent an enormous bolt of lightning. You only felt the release of raging energy when Genos's body suddenly jerked upwards. You squeaked in alarm at the movement and made to jump back. But something prevented you from doing so. There was a pressure on your head holding you down.

You were in a frenzy trying to figure out what was going on when you felt the lips beneath yours start to move. You gasped in surprise but Genos didn't take in your mental state and instead slipped his tongue into your mouth. The remaining electric currents in your body shocked and crackled in your mouths as his wet muscle explored you. You momentarily forgot what was going on and responded to the heated kiss.

The more Genos devoured your lips, the more sparks flew from your body. You had toned them down enough so that none of them were fatal but the cyborg seemed to be enjoying the increase in electricity as the kiss went on. Unfortunately, there was still a problem at hand.

"Oh great, you're fine. Now here's an idea, how about you stop making out and help me!!?" Saitama yelled angrily.

Genos suddenly pushed you down and aimed his hand for something you had not seen coming towards you two. He blasted the creature away and looked back down at you. "(y/n)—"

You didn't let him finish. You pulled him down onto your lips, savoring his sweet taste. You were both still inches apart when you let him go. "I thought you were going to die," You whimpered as tears slid down the corners your eyes.

He gave you a small smile and wiped your face with his thumb. "I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere."

"Oh my god, I love you so much," You sobbed and wrapped your arms around him tightly. You were afraid that if you let him go he would be fighting for his life again. "I love you so much..." Your voice muffled into his shoulder.

"I love you too, don't worry I'm alright," He soothed, kissing your head. "You saved me (y/n)."

"What...?" You blinked. "How...?"

"That shock you delivered," Genos explained. "It was like an amplifier to wake up my brain and getting working again. A few more minutes without oxygen and I would've been dead. You even refilled some of my air supply, didn't you?"

Your cheeks reddened. "O-Oh, well I was trying to give you CPR...."

"Thank you (y/n)," Genos embraced your small figure.

"You guys!!" Saitama shouted. "I could use some help!!"

Just as his complaint lingered in the air, there was a series of loud explosions heard all around you. The monsters erupted into pieces, their guts flew all over the place as the source of the destruction thundered by.

The hero, Bofoy, otherwise known as 'Metal Knight', was walking towards you guys exploding the creatures on sight. The numbers seemed to be lessening with each blow the metal suit delivered. Once the count was minimized, he finally addressed you.

"These monsters must be killed with a specific chemical in order to defeat them," A voice droned from the suit. "The more you kill them, the more abundant they are. I will finish off the rest, you three are dismissed."

You decided to take his word for it and convinced Saitama and Genos to leave the premises. You were all exhausted and you knew that some much needed sleep was in order. You guys trudged along the sidewalk for home as the sound of explosives went off from a distance.

Saitama had went ahead, leaving you and Genos in the back. "Hey are you feeling okay?" You asked the silent cyborg. "No sensations of fuzziness or strain?"

"I'm feeling much better (y/n)," He reassured. "Thank you."

You folded your arms and glanced down. "You know....I was really scared back there," You whispered. "I thought I was going to lose you. You weren't responding to anything, you were so...lifeless...." You sniffed as those dark emotions resurfaced.

Genos stopped walking and grabbed your hand. "I'm sorry.... I need to learn to keep my guard up, it's become a habit of mine," He apologized softly. Genos cupped your cheeks and gently pressed his lips to yours. It was a short, sweet kiss but it left you with a warm feeling in your heart. Once he pulled away you saw him smiling. "I love that."

"What?" You asked in confusion.

"Those little shocks you do when I kiss you," He said happily. "I never noticed it before till now."

"Sorry," You mumbled nervously. "I never knew I did that. It's not intentional. It just kind happens when my emotions speed up."

"Don't apologize, I love it," Genos kissed you again. "I love you."

Alright I'm sorry I kinda disappeared for two weeks. Homework and finals caught me by the throat and I had no choice but to prioritize.

But I do have a lot to announce this chapter. First off, this one shot was response to the episode where Genos fights the Sea King. I had already read that part in the manga so I knew what was coming but it was still painful to watch my baby go through that trauma. I nearly cried on both manga and anime.

Second, I want to tell you guys that I'm making a special chapters for Christmas in each of my books =^.^= I think you guys will like them

Third is a bit of a personal issue. Recently, I have noticed a trend in the first chapter of the book. Now I realize that I may be at fault in this one and I apologize. I've been getting a lot of comments about how the reader acts in it. To be blunt, comments are saying that the reader acts like hoe and is pushing the limit on kissing two guys in the same night. I'm sorry that I didn't explain it well enough to show that the reader has no interest in 'Ryder' and only sees him as friend. I tried to hint it off but I guess they weren't strong enough. I addressed the topic in the that chapter explaining the point of view but no one has seen it hence me talking about it here.

So why am I bringing it up? It has been bothering me since the comments started appearing. I understand that it is your opinion and I respect that. However, it genuinely hurts me to see something that I worked hard on being brought down. This book wasn't supposed to continue, I was planning on just writing one chapter. So it makes me not want to write anymore in fear of something like that happen again. I was planning on dropping the book after 10 chapters but I enjoy writing it so much that I couldn't and here I am. So what I plan on doing is if those kind of comments keep appearing I'll just take down that chapter and revise it, or just keep it to myself.

Please be mindful about what you say, not just to me but to other authors alike. We work hard to put these chapters up for you guys. Thank you for hearing me out and I'll see you guys in the next one :)
