Scars Don't Heal Part 1

Sequel to Break Part 2

Because these two lovely people got to me with their brainstorming XD SheesaAlea and XxShadowWolf13xX

"Don't you see what you're doing!?" Saitama yelled at who he thought he knew. "You're hurting her! Even while trying to protect her you are hurting her!!"

"No, I'm not! Do you see any mark on her? Anything that suggests I've injured her?" The cyborg countered. His eyes were set aflame as he stared down his teacher.

"It's in her eyes," Saitama remarked. "She may not be physically wounded, but you've marred her mentally beyond recognition! Ask yourself, Genos, is she the same girl you fell in love with?"

"She...she listens to me. She knows how much I care."

"She's terrified of you so she has no other choice BUT to listen! I don't know how long this has been going on but it has to stop now!" Saitama glanced over at you and saw you sitting quietly, tears running down your face. "(y/n), come on. Grab some stuff, we're leaving."

"She's not going anywhere." Genos stood between you and Saitama.

Saitama cast a heavy look onto the cyborg. "Genos, move aside."

"I can't do that, Sensei. She's safer with me."

"She's safer with anyone BUT you," Saitama glared.

Genos's upper lip curled into a snarl. "I think you should leave."

Both males heard small whimpers emanating from you. "Please...stop," You choked as you clawed at your ears.

"Let her go," Saitama repeated a lot firmer.

"Saitama, I strongly suggest you get out, now," Genos threatened, stepping towards him dangerously. Your anxieties were only rising higher the longer this intervention went on. "Stop...." You pleaded, not wanting to look at either of them just wanting to be free from this place that didn't let you breathe.

After that you heard them scuffle and slam into various furniture in the room. You only caught the words that Saitama was shouting at Genos. "I don't want to hurt you, Genos, so just stop this already!"

"You're not taking her from me!!"

You then heard the clang of something hitting metal and the rough thud of a mass hitting the floor. You were trembling; you were scared to look. You wanted to disappear and vanish from this place.

"(y/n), are you alright?" It was Saitama's voice.

You forced yourself to open your eyes and saw him standing over an unconscious Genos. Your skin broke out in a cold sweat. You quickly stood up and backed away. "Oh my god..." You whispered with your hand over your mouth.

"He's not dead, he's knocked out. I'm going to take him to Kuseno and then I'm going to come to take you to a hospital, okay? Do you think you can wait here for a little until I get back?" Saitama asked.

You weren't paying attention though. You were still staring at Genos's body in horror. "He's going to kill me. Oh god he's going to take me away from here. I don't want to leave, please oh god." Tears spilled down your face as you hyperventilated. "No, no, please...." You cried out softy.

"(y/n), he's not going to hurt you ever again," Saitama assured as he approached you carefully.

"He's going to wake up and take me away," You murmured. "I don't want to, please...."

"(y/n), you're okay now."

"N-no, I'm not..." You shook your head rapidly but that made you really dizzy. "I'm not...I'm..."

The last thing you heard before everything went dark was Saitama calling your name.

You awoke to the sound of slow beeping right by your ear. You blinked and wiped the sleep out of your eyes as your fuzzy conscious tried to decipher where you were. The room was bright, blinding almost, making it impossible to make sense of anything at the moment.

In a split second, your brain rewound everything that happened before now. You gasped, feeling all that fear and anguish rushing back to you as you jolted upright. A voice distracted you from delving further deeper in thought. "(y/n)?"

You looked up and saw Saitama place a hand over yours. He gently thumbed your skin in order to calm you down. "How are you feeling?"

You took in quiet breaths of air while trying to figure out what to say. You decided location was the best neutral question. "Where.....where am I?"

"You're in the hospital. The doctors have been working on counter-acting the chemicals preventing your mobility and voice," Saitama answered.

"And...." An image of the red eyed cyborg flashed in your mind making your heart race.

"He's not here. I took him to Kuseno's hoping that he could do something about what happened to Genos."

You whimpered involuntarily. "Please don't say his name."

"Okay." He gave you a weak smile but then glanced down and scooted his chair closer to you. "(y/n).....what exactly happened in there?"

You glanced up and just stared at him, imagining how you would explain all the horrors you endured. "It's all too much..."

"Start from the beginning."

You exhaled slowly then gulped back your trembling fears. "W-well..." You blinked back tears. "It all began one night when he brought me back home after I fought a Threat Level Tiger...."

Genos felt his systems hum as the rotors in his temples clicked and he could open his eyes. He inhaled deeply, his chest replenishing the low air supply he had.

"Genos?" He heard the doctor's familiar voice. "Are you awake?"

The cyborg blinked and sat up. "Yes?"

Kuseno let out a relieved sigh and approached him on the table top. "Do you feel different? Out of sorts? Dizzy? Nauseous?"

Genos's eyebrows furrowed in thought. "I'm slightly dazed. What am I doing here again?"

"What's the last thing you remember?" Kuseno asked carefully.

"I remember....being in the apartment, with (y/n)." His mind then began to feed him all the memories of these past months. He gripped the edge of the table and hunched over as his recollection hit him to the core. "(y/n)...." He whispered wide eyed.

"Please stop this, Genos, you don't know what you're doing..."

"You can't keep me locked up." "Watch me."

"Genos, please, no more," You cried softly. "Go to sleep, (y/n)."

"W-what is this?" Genos said through gritted teeth as he heard your pleas and sobs in the memories. Your distraught face was in every one of them.

"Genos, can you recall what happened these past few months?" Kuseno questioned.

His head throbbed. His shaking arms tried to lift him up off the table but the clutch he had on it before caused the edge he holding to break. Genos fell forward on his knees. His face was downcast; hot tears streaming down his cheeks.

"I-I....I...." He shook his head in disbelief.

"I love you, Genos! Please don't do this!" "You're mine, I'm only protecting you."

"Stop, Genos!! I can hardly stay awake anymore!" You backed away from him as he came towards you with a syringe. But your feeble legs could only carry you for so long. "It's fine, you can't overdose on this," He said, grabbing your arm roughly to pull you to him.

"Stop....."

"Please...."

"Who are you? Where's my Genos?" You tried to cup his cheeks but he was stoic and cold. Nothing could be evoked from the cyborg.

"No...." Genos's hands curled into fists while his teeth felt like they could crack under the pressure he had them in. "Stop...."

"Genos, what did you do to that girl?" Kuseno asked, bending down to him.

"Oh god, what have I done? D-did I do that?" Genos questioned breathlessly. "What is this?"

"I thought it was strange how some medical supplies were vanishing quickly throughout the week, but that must have been your doing was it not?" Kuseno thought aloud.

"W-wha....what happened to me?" Genos glanced over to the doctor with a tear stricken face.

"A chemical malfunction. Your body is usually regulated by an internal machine that provides your brain with all the chemical nutrition you need. A lack of dopamine caused your anxious emotions to heighten and your love for (y/n) affected this even more. Your response to this was to associate (y/n) with your deprivation. In order to fix the problem, you tried to fix her."

"But I just hurt her," Genos mumbled, covering his face with his hands. "Because of my stupid body, I hurt her."

"You didn't know any better." Kuseno laid a hand on Genos's shoulder.

"Where is she?"

Kuseno didn't say anything for brief pause before responding. "Genos, I don't think it's a good idea to—"

"Please, just tell me where she is. Tell me she's okay."

Silence.

"She....she's not dead is she?" Genos looked at him in alarm.

"No, no, she's alive, she's okay," Kuseno assured him.

"But where? Please, tell me where," Genos begged.

The doctor broke the gaze between them and sighed. "I'll show you."

If this is going to happen, prepare yourselves for an angst train XD
