Third Person

Lolli and Malkore followed Dick all throughout the day and reported everything that they found out the Chief Added, even stuff that didn't seem important, like how he wasn't eating enough. That way if their favorite rookie did turn out to be innocent they could help him.

It was late into the day, so late that it should be considered night now when they finally got movement inside Dick's apartment. It was so careful that they almost didn't even notice, but they definitely saw Dick jumping out of his window and swinging up to the roof.

Malkore told Lolli the directions as she drove to catch up with him. He was looking at the tracker while she was looking at the road. after a few minutes of driving thorough the city in what Lolli thought was pointless directions they arrived at a warehouse near the docks. She parked a few blocks from where he was in order to avoid suspicion.

As they were walking towards him they heard footsteps and noticed that everyone else was here as well, Amy, Shalt, and Added were all with them. "What are you guys doing here, we have it covered," Lolli told them.

"Just because you have it covered doesn't mean the rookie does," Shalt told her in a joking manner.

She smiled and sighed as the chief gave them the plans. As they were talking Amy noticed two people on the roof and she pointed it to them, "Guys I think I know where the rookie is and the previously mentioned Jason."

"What are they doing on the roof," Malkore asked. Then, suddenly without warning the two gave a nod to each other and the smaller one of the two jumped down into the ware house. Without warning the other guy jumped in and soon gunshots were heard and they could tell a fight was going on.

They new that something was going down and they had to help. Added gave the orders and they all charged in their and saw no Grayson, but someone in a black suit with a blue bird fighting with escrima sticks. They all knew instantly that the person under the mask was Grayson and when anyone lifted up their gun to shot besides the guys in the red hood he would jump in front of them, glare at them, and told them no guns.

"Listen dickhead. I know that your annoyed at them right now for almost getting themselves killed, but for once can you not worry about the no guns rule. It's not like B knows everything that happens in our lives," The guy, Red Hood, as they will soon learn, told him.

"If you went home every once in a while you would see that he does care, you two just won't talk. Tell him your using blanks and just try, I'm sure that you'll work it out," Nightwing, as they already know, told him as they were knocking the last guy out.

Once all of the bad guys were out the two got to work on tying them up and putting them in the center of the building.

"Glad you could get the job done by yourself Rookie," Amy told him. That made both of them stop and suddenly he didn't seem like their happy go lucky rookie anymore, more like someone who's been through to much and still has more to live through.

"Hood go ahead and catch up with your team. Don't tell B anything and I'll talk to them," Wing told him. "Sure you don't want our green friends to go in their and fix a few things," Hood said while making a motion with his head to show he was indicating wiping their memories.

"Not happening. Plus all it takes is one mistake by me and everything come back to them, along with a terrible headache," he responded.

"Your loss," Hood said while shooting a batarang in the air and letting the rope pull him up as a ship came to get him right when he landed.

"Come on," Wing told them in a gruff voice that only his family and close friends are use to.

"What no explanation," Lolli said glaring at him.

"I never said that, I said come on. If I'm talking to you guys we have to go somewhere Bats won't know about along with a few other curious on lookers," He said looking into a camera that was turned off.

"Follow him. He said he'd give us an explanation and it's not like we don't want one," Added told him as they walked out of the building leaving the thugs tied up.

"Is it a good idea to leave them their," Shalt asked him.

"They won't wake up until tomorrow night. Don't give me that look, we didn't cause any serious damage. Only a broken arm or leg," Night wing told him as if it wasn't a big deal.

"I'm calling my ride, meet me at my apartment, but don't expect much, he told them as he jumped onto a motorcycle that had no one driving it.

XXXTIMESKIPXXX

Once everyone was at Dick's apartment and he was changed, he did arrive their before them, they sat around his small living room waiting for an explanation.

"So your the nightwing that we are told to bring into custody," Amy asked him.

"Yep, but don't bother. If you bring me in I'll be out before a full day has even started. Some people will kill to have me on their side," he told them then laughed as if he made a joke.

"You think it's funny," Added asked confused.

"Nope, just a play on words," he said popping the p.

"Anyway guess you want the story. First this did not just happen, it was a slow process. You already know about everything the public knows, well the inside is that I became the first robin. Around the time I was 13 me and some other teens formed Young Justice, kind like the JL but we were on the down low to gather intel only, but missions don't always go as planned, or in our case never. It's still up and running today with me and Aqua lad as the semi leaders, well only me  now. Fast forward a few years, Bats and I had a fight because he wanted to fire me from something I've been doing for a long time that I loved.

So I moved to jump created the titans made a tower and we helped a lot of people, gloss over a few details and Bats getting some new robins. I moved to bludhaven started becoming nightwing while still in jump, and now I'm here," He told them giving the short story of everything.

"So this isn't new. You've been doing this for awhile," Added asked him.

"Yep practically my whole life. I was raised in a circus as well so that helped convince bats to let me become Robin," he told them.

"What about the guy in red," Amy asked him.

"That is no concern as it is not mine to share. We keep secrets for a reason. Anything else," He asked them.

"I have a few. So we may or may not of over heard a few phone calls you had and I want to know somethings. First off you said you had someone you see as a niece and I want to meet her, second I want to know about this assassin, and third I want to know more about this Kaldur situation," She told him with a fierce protective look in her eyes.

"You can meet her one day when I ask for desk duty. Her name is Lian. I did date one yes, but that is private business and no if I have a say you aren't meeting him. We have a love hate relationship. Lastly the Kaldur situation is complicated and if anyone ask you anything you know nothing about it. I'm not joking, people could die," He told them.

He didn't go into more detail then that, but they did talk for another hour or two until it was getting late and everyone wanted and needed some sleep. Everyone left his apartment and he fell right asleep.

I finally got out of my writers block, and I'm already getting the next part done. Turns out their's going to be one more part and it's going to take a few days after Young justice tries to take down the light and that whole episode. A few facts are going to be thrown. Don't take my word for it, but with any luck the next part will be out soon, but I'm not known for releasing two parts in one day.

Since I've been having a hard time releasing a part or chapter for a story each week due to being busy with my job and school, so I'm not going to update as much, as if that wasn't obvious, and update when I have time and something written out. I like giving you guys long parts instead of short ones and in order for me to do that your going to have to bear with me on slower updates so I'm not rushing to get things out.

Last if you haven't noticed I posted a lot of different stories in one day. I already had parts written for those and the same with this story. I will post when I have something written for it and time. So that means I update a story I want, but none of my stories are discontinued. I never discontinued a story and I hate it when people do. I could go on a rant but I'm not. That's really it.
