Omg guys, here we are, at the end of Robin and the Crow! I can't quite believe it honestly. 10 months of writing and almost 12 of editing and I have finally finished a whole book I can say I am fairly proud of!!! I am so so so chuffed with what I have created and I just want to say as always, thank you for much for sticking with along for the ride! I really hope you enjoyed the story and the ups and downs of Robin and Yohan. Although not a true story, each of the characters represent a little part of me, or people that I have known in my life that have impacted me growing up. I hope that is shown through the story <3

She then offered to review the chapters weekly which is when she started editing them. RRK, without you there is no way I would have ever finished this story. All of your silly comments and helpful tips have really helped me improve as a writer and I honestly cannot thank you enough so thank you thank you thank you!!! Next steps for me will be eventually doing a second edit of the whole story. But for now, I'm going to take a little bit of a break. I haveeee however started writing the second book (tee hee) and hope to release a bit of a teaser for this in the next few months. I also want to make sure I have written most of the second book first before I start releasing chapter to save me on the stress of ensuring I have chapters ready to release so please keep and eye out for that!

Well, here we are.

My dearest Plastic. I can't believe it's been almost a year since we crossed paths and now you've finished your book.

Like most readers, I was immediately hooked by your story and I'm so thankful that you trusted me enough to promote me from reader to beta reader to editor. I still think it was me that just couldn't wait to find out what happened next that got us to where we are now.

Since then, however, I've loved all of our calls, how you taught me that voice notes aren't so scary, and the little inside jokes that formed along the way.

Yohan and Robin (Baby Bird) are so dear to my heart, and being along with you for their journey has been the highlight of my 2024. I can't wait to see where their story goes (gimme the second book neeeeoooow).

Being along for not only their journey but also yours has been a pleasure. I've watched your growth as a writer, becoming more confident with every chapter and flourishing into an author with their own unique and gorgeous style.

I've never edited for someone before, and as much as you say I'm helping you, I feel as though I am the one who benefitted the most. Learning and growing with you has been a dream.

You are proof that internet friends aren't always scary, and I'm so lucky that we are now in real life friends (Next visit is when?). I just want to say that you're a wonderful person, and your friendship, rambling voice notes, and drum roll gifs have enriched my life so much.

On top of that, outside of editing and writing, the love, patience, and support you have given me when times were rough in my life will leave me forever grateful. You always know exactly what to say or not say, and I love and adore you more than words can say.

Congratulations for finishing your debut novel, and I'm honestly just so proud of you. Finishing a book, especially one of this calibre, is no mean feat, and I'm going to keep shouting about how proud I am for a very long time.

I know in my heart that you're providing a story that will reach and be a safe space for your readers. I know for myself, it does.

Now, like Isha, I shall return to my ramen, manhwas, and Kdramas until the next story (which I hope you'll ask me to come along for the journey too). Too bad if you say no, you're stuck with me, hehe.
