Jenika had been awake for a few hours and was done waiting for her lazy men to wake up. She headed downstairs  to wake them so she could get their clothes and get the laundry started. She was a few feet away from the door when he she heard familiar sounds coming from inside the room.

She smiled as she leaned against the wall and waited for them to finish. She was in a sassy mood so she only gave them a minute of a privacy before she knocked and walked right in, "Guys, I need your dirty clothes."

"Holy shit!" Tim exclaimed as he pulled the sheet over them. "Aren't you supposed to wait after knocking? Not just walk right in?"

"What if we were in the middle of something?" Adam asked.

Jenika just shook her head. "I'm going to use Tim's line here. Two things: We are all intimately familiar with each other so stop being so bashful and I knew you were finished. I've been out there for five minutes waiting."

"You were listening?" Tim asked with a smirk on his face.

"Seriously you two?" Jenika asked with a raised eyebrow. "Now if you want your laundry done I suggest you get up and get it for me."

A few hours later they were all in the exam room waiting for the doctor. The office had made special arrangements to have the ultrasound and the appointment the same day since Jenika was traveling all the time. 

The doctor entered the room and greeted Jenika, "Good afternoon." She said as she shook her hand. "I see you brought some people with you this time."

"Yes, this is my son TJ." Jenika said pointing at her little boy. "And..."

"These are my dads." TJ interrupted. Jenika smiled and giggled at the look on the doctors face. Adam and Tim each shook the doctors hand and introduced themselves.

Jenika spoke once again, "Adam is the baby's father." The doctor nodded her head with a confused look in her eyes.

"So, your ultrasound looks great" the doctor stated. "Baby is growing normally and looks perfect. Do you want to know the gender?"

"It's a surprise for now." Jenika said. "We had the tech write it down and put it in an envelope for a later reveal." 

The doctor did her physical exam ending with listening to the baby's heartbeat. Jenika always got teary-eyed at this point. She looked over at Adam to see that his eyes were a little wet too.

The boys excused themselves to the waiting room while Jenika got dressed. She was just leaving the room to make her next appointment when she saw the doctor was waiting for her. 

"May I have a word with you?" She asked.

"Sure. Is there something wrong?" Jenika replied.

"No, just a few questions that I want to ask you privately." The doctor said as they entered her office and she shut the door. "Is this a surrogacy situation?" She asked bluntly.

"What?" Jenika asked. She was so shocked she didn't know what else to say.

"It's fine if it is." The doctor assured her. "We just prefer to have this information in the chart so everyone is aware of the situation. For legal reasons."

"Oh my God. No, this isn't a surrogacy." Jenika exclaimed. "Maybe you should sit down." Jenika explained the situation as best she could, obviously leaving out the unimportant details. "So, Adam is the biological father but we will all be parenting the children together." She finished.

The doctor blinked a few times while absorbing the information, "Well, I'm not sure how to put that in the chart but I'll figure something out so everyone knows that both men are equally as important during the delivery."

"Thank you, so much" Jenika was relieved that the doctor understood. "I need to tell you something else that is important too." The doctor nodded to let Jenika know she was listening. "Adam and Tim are in a band that is currently on tour and I am traveling with them. We are all over the country. I've been flying back for my appointments."

"I don't see any problem with that, for right now, but if you have any type of complications then the travel will have to stop." The doctor explained. "And no traveling after 36 weeks." 

"Absolutely." Jenika agreed. "I was wondering if I could have a copy of my records to carry with me, just in case. You know, blood type and other basic information."

"I think that is a very good idea. I'll have the nurse get you a copy while you schedule your next appointment. Is there anything else?" The doctor asked. Jenika shook her head no.

Tim and Adam both looked concerned when Jenika finally made it to the waiting room. "I'll explain when we get to the car." She said as they walked out of the office.

Jenika repeated the conversation she had with the doctor and made sure to let them know that she was okay to travel right up until her last month. Both men were relieved that nothing was wrong. They let Jenika know that they had been worried about what was taking so long. She apologized profusely and promised she'd make it up to them. 

Tim and Adam cooked dinner and did the dishes that evening while Jenika played with TJ. Once the kitchen was clean they all cuddled together on the couch to watch a movie before bed. They had learned to relax and enjoy these quiet moments when they could get them. In less than 24 hours they would be traveling again. They loved it but it was tiring.

When Jenika returned from putting TJ to bed Tim and Adam were gone. She quietly walked down the stairs and knocked on their bedroom door. She waited for a response this time instead of just walking in.

"Come in." She heard Tim yell from the other side.

She slowly opened the door and walked in. She stood there silently just looking at her lovers.

"Do you need something?" Adam asked.

Jenika shut the door and walked across the room, "Yes. You!"
