I am so so so so sorry that it has taken me so long to update. I'm not going to try to lay out any excuses; just know that I am trying my hardest. I won't leave you hanging indefinitely.

"Adam?" Tim said quietly. "I love holding you but do you think we could get off this floor?"

"Of course, babe" Adam chuckled. "Your butt must be pretty cold." 

Tim smirked as he spoke, "Well, my pants didn't make it very far down so that's not what's bothering me." Adam gave Tim a confused look. "This floor is hard and the only hard thing I like to sit on is you." 

"Mmmhmm," Adam hummed in agreement before giving Tim a quick kiss. "Ummm, can I get a little push here?" the blond giggled as he tried to stand. "I don't want to hurt any of your sensitive parts." 

Tim shook his head as he smiled and gave his lover a little boost. Adam made it to his feet without injuring Tim and started to collect his clothing. "Umm, are you sure I wasn't too rough?" Tim asked quietly as he watched Adam bending over to pick up his pants.

"Not. At. All" Adam replied. "I loved it." Adam set his clothes on the counter and slowly approached Tim who was just finishing buttoning his pants. "I'm sorry," Adam said quietly as he gently caressed his lover's cheek. "I know this wasn't what you wanted..."

Adam looked away from Tim as a sense of sadness washed over him. Once again he had been thinking with his dick instead of his head or heart and once again Tim was the one affected by it. "Can you forgive me?" Adam whispered.

"Forgive you for what?" Tim scowled, completely confused.

"For being selfish, again. For only thinking about my needs and my wants and forcing you to do something you didn't want to." Adam answered, still looking at the floor.

"Adam, look at me," Tim said gently. He continued once his boyfriend looked up, "You did not now, nor have you ever, forced me to do anything." The brunette smirked, "You may have quite a bit of influence but I'm still completely in charge of all of my decisions."

Tim paused to gather his thoughts for a moment, "I had my reasons for wanting to wait until we had more privacy, comfort, and time but none of them were more important than your reason for needing this here and now." Tim leaned in and kissed Adam quickly before adding, "Just remember that I wanted to wait once you hear my reason."

Adam frowned at his boyfriend, "What was your reason?"

Tim shook his head, "Get your clothes on so we can go find Jenika. This involves her too."

"I don't like the sound of that" Adam grumbled as he turned to get his clothes off the counter. Tim chuckled quietly and hid his smile from his boyfriend. He was certain that Adam wouldn't appreciate him finding any of this funny.

"Okay, I'm here," Jenika exclaimed as she walked through the door. "What is so important that I had to interrupt Olena so she could watch TJ?"

Tim motioned for Jenika to take a seat as he began talking, "Jenika, you and I have talked about what happened." Tim looked at his boyfriend, "Adam, you and I have talked about what happened." Tim's eyes darted between his two lovers, "Now it's time for all of us to talk about what happened."

Jenika and Adam quickly glanced at each other before looking back at Tim. Adam opened his mouth like he wanted to say something but nothing came out. 

Tim shook his head at Adam, "Let me rephrase that. I'm going to talk and you're both going to listen. I've heard the story from both of you and I've asked a few cursory questions to make sure I had all the details right but other than making a simple request of Adam I've not fully expressed my thoughts and feelings on the matter."

Jenika and Adam, once again, glanced at each other quickly. This time the look was less confusion and more fear. Adam kept his mouth shut this time. 

Tim took a deep breath before finally speaking, "I think it was fairly obvious that my first reaction to all this was anger. That was followed closely by pain, disappointment, confusion, and even fear." 

Adam quickly looked down at his lap where he was absentmindedly playing with the hem of his shirt. He knew Tim needed to get this out but he hated being reminded of exactly how terrible his actions were and how badly he'd hurt his best friend. 

"I'm sorry, Adam," Tim said quietly, "I know this is hard to listen to but..."

Adam cut Tim off but still didn't look up, "It's okay. You have every right to express your feelings about everything that has happened. And, after today, it's clear I still need reminders to stop being selfish." Adam sunk even further into the couch as he finished his sentence with a sniff.

Tim shook is his head at Jenika, signaling her to not ask about it before he continued speaking. "I think the anger is pretty self-explanatory as is the pain." He ran his hand through his hair as he continued, "I was disappointed that you would both lie to me." Adam's head suddenly shot up. Tim chuckled as he raised his hands in defense, "I know you didn't but that's what I thought at the time. I guess I was confused about a lot of things: I didn't know the whole story, I didn't know where our relationship stood, I didn't know a lot." 

Tim sighed and swallowed hard. He knew what he was about to say was going to hurt Adam, again. "The pain I felt was soon accompanied by fear. I was afraid that we weren't going to make it through this. I felt like I couldn't trust you." Adam's head dropped even further as he buried his face in hands and willed his tears not to fall. "It felt like my whole world was crashing in and I was about to lose everything that meant the most to me."

Adam couldn't hold it in any longer. He let out a loud sob as the tears began to fall from his eyes. Tim hated to see his lover this way but he had needed to get that out, needed to let Adam know just how much he had been hurt. 

Tim knelt down in front of where Adam was sitting on the couch. "Adam," he said softly, "I know. I'm sorry." Adam cried even harder when he heard Tim apologize to him. 

Yeah, go ahead with the threats of physical violence. I'm ready for them.
