It'd been a few days since Remus and Sirius' little outing and since then, they'd decided it would be nice to put the label on it. You know that special one. Boyfriends. Though Sirius would never admit it, he was very sweaty in his palms when he asked.
"So, are we- are we a something, if you know what I mean?" Sirius asked, rubbing the back of his and silently wondering if he should just make a run for it before Remus could answer.
"Do you want to be a something? I mean, because it has to be mutual..." It was clear that the pair were not good at this. Always overcompensating whether or not they should do something. Not many knew that the Sirius Black could be a complete and utter mess sometimes while doing such acts. A hot mess, he would say if anyone ever told him that.
"Yeah, you're nice... And fuck, what the hell am I doing? Ok, yes. I want to take this further. You know, we're really not good at this." Sirius Black babbled, flushing deeper shades of magenta by the second. Remus Lupin responded with a shake of the head.
"That's good, yeah, no, I'm happy."
But that was five days ago, yes, you heard me; the pair had been on this road trip for five more days. They stayed at another trashy hotel the night before the last, and though nothing progressed too far, if you know what I mean, a lot more snugglings and sweet whispers were exchanged throughout the whole night, from when the lumpy mattresses first touched human skin to when their chest lifted and fell simultaneously. That was when the weather was nice and warm during the day, and fresh and cool, but not entirely cold, during the night. Now it was chucking it outside, the rain soaking in to the once dry and dusty clearing, no more than fifty metres away from the dense woods. The two were sitting in the spacious boot if the car, admiring the lashing pour and taking in the damp, earthy smell. Remus had to crouch down low, just to get a view and to not bang his head up against the inner roof of the car.
"Rain is by far, my favourite weather." Remus clapped his heavy, hardback book shut and rested his head backwards, the words spilling from his mouth as if it took no care at all. The way his voice bent and crackled, softening exactly in the middle; it was like music to Sirius' ears. It always had been, from the very first time the melodic voice hit his ear drums.
"I like it too, and so do the flowers. But you're my flower." Sirius leaned over and pinched Remus' cheek, making his partner's face go pink.
"Mmmm, sure." Remus burrowed his head deep within the knitted folds of his mustard jumper sleeves, still darkly coloured in the face.
"Don't do that, I want to see that masterpiece that is your face." Sirius pulled on his boyfriend's arm, watching it fall near his bent legs, revealing his face. He looked up. Remus bit his bottom lip hard as he looked up, stray locks of Sirius' hair falling in front of his eyes.
"Don't be stupid." Remus muttered, looking down once more. His fingers played with the spine of his book that was laying beside him, tips brushing past the smooth letters of the title and author's name.
"I'm not being stupid, I want to look at you while I write all the beautiful things in this world. Need to get the perfect description of you." Sirius was told by his therapist to write all the good things down in a book, and he rarely did it. Not because he didn't want to get better, he just didn't think it was useful. Except for today. He woke up and felt that warm feeling in his chest, making him give the writing a shot. It was going good, if he was being honest.
"Sirius!" Remus whined while Sirius dropped his journal and huddled closer to Remus.
"C'mon, I promise you're beautiful." Sirius straddled Remus, kissing just above his jaw and moving up gradually, but never touching his lips.
"You- you have to say that."
"Do I though? Really?" Sirius swapped to the other cheek, placing small pecks randomly around. He didn't wait for an answer. He placed a kiss on his boyfriend's lips.
*intense af smoochin'. i can't do smut cuz your gal is still single and deffo not ready to mingle. i can't even put my bedsheets on properly, how on earth will i flirt?*
Remus brought Sirius closer, his heart racing. What this would lead to, he didn't know. But if things did progress far, he wasn't sure if he was ready. Mentally, he was, but physically, what if he wasn't? Sirius was muscular and perfect, while he was a lanky, skinny thing. What if he was being stupid if it actually came to that? What if Sirius looked at Remus' body in a different light and realised how disgusting it was? He pushed away all those thoughts to the deepest, darkest corner of his mind and focussed on the thing he should've been all along. Sirius. He put his hands in the long hair of the boy sitting on him, tangling his fingers lustily in the strands.
Sirius seemed to sense the air of uncertainty wavering about Remus, and he ran his thumb up and down a small portion of his side, keeping his eyes shut. His boyfriend's hands roamed down his arm as he moaned softly, quickly shutting up due to embarrassment. The rain was pouring heavily outside, very audible with the boot still open.
"Don't babe, it sounded nice." Sirius whispered lowly, only stopping short of a second to say so. Remus was still crimson, but he pulled Sirius back down by the front of his t-shirt roughly, though not rough enough to hurt him. Their lips attached once more and moved together as one, chapped and smooth contrasting beautifully. The sensations were none like the two had ever felt before, it felt real. Not some crazy fling that'll last less than a month. It felt right, just neither could fully identify the recently found emotion as it was new and fresh. The warmth danced from body to body; both now completely pressed up against each other. The pure feeling of the shared heat made Sirius want more. He craved more. He hooked his foot beneath the edge of the boot door and pulled it closer, satisfied when hearing the sucking noise of it shutting. The odd pound of the rain was muffled now, only drumming quietly against the windows and roof.
Remus felt his hand brush underneath Sirius' shirt and, for the umpteenth time that day, turned pink. Sirius didn't want this! What on earth was he thinking? No, he wasn't going to to do that. Remus was about to remove his hand before he felt something on his neck. Reddish purple bruises marked his skin as Sirius sucked, leaving the very easy to point out stains in his wake. Remus shuddered at the feel. He didn't want it to stop.
"S-Sirius..." Remus whispered. Sirius just nuzzled his head up against his boyfriend's chin as he moved up neck and around his collarbones in search for a sweet spot. He felt Remus exhale deeply when he got to a spot just beneath his jaw and ear. He lingered there for longer than he did in other places.
After no more than five minutes, Remus felt it was time to repay Sirius. He flipped positions.
"Let me do this to you."
"Sure." Sirius breathed, panting heavily. His sentences were no longer lengthy and fast, but short and slow. Remus was out of breath too, but no where near as much as his partner.
Remus bit gently and sucked harshly, but no matter how hard he tried, nothing stained his skin. Sirius was special, if you thought of it that way, his skin was very pale, but he never got hickeys or anything. Of course, this meant that if he was ever telling James that he got some 'major dick last night', he would never actually believe him. Still, it was good when he first hooked up with a boy, because he wouldn't be able to lie to anyone about them if could get them. He could only lie to teachers, that was easy. Still, Remus found his sweet spot and after hearing Sirius breathe shakily, he decided to stay for just a little longer.
"I really don't get hickeys."
"Y-yeah, I figured." Remus didn't look up to meet Sirius' eyes, he was still fixated on the skin he had just revealed after moving his lips from pulling down the collar of Sirius' shirt. Smooth and velvety, his skin was. Remus didn't notice Sirius shuffling about until he pulled off his shirt, boasting, in Remus' opinion, a God's body. Sirius cautiously placed a hand under Remus' jumper, stroking his stomach, almost asking for permission to take his off too. Remus sweetly kissed his lips, all thoughts of his body riding out of his head that very second. But that didn't stay for long.
"Oh my god..." Remus looked down at his own body and jumped away from Sirius, ashamed.
"What? Did I- did I do something wrong? I'm sorry-" Sirius straightened his back fearfully. He probably invaded Remus' private space. Damn! Why did he have to be so stupid?
"No, you didn't. I just- look at me. Look at everything." Sirius' eyes scanned Remus' body, hardly noticing the faint white lines of his old scars, but when he did, he realised that's probably what was bothering his boyfriend.
"Oh..." Sirius shut his eyes and pulled Remus in to a loving hug, his heart beating in sync with his other.
"You're beautiful, you know? But if you want me to stop, just... either tell me or kick me in the balls." He began kissing Remus' freckled shoulder, pushing him down gently. Remus had trust in Sirius, he knew that he would stop if he wanted him to, but he wanted to see how things felt. And besides, Sirius was always full of surprises, stupid or good, but never bad.
Remus' body was flush against the floor of the boot, which was a bit of a teenager place to be, but he didn't mind so. Sirius put his head right next to the first scar lining Remus' body, cutting right through his belly button, and gently licked before placing a kiss on it. Now, before this, all the female hook ups Remus had had (mind you, he'd only had sex with the same girl three times and one time before he met her with a random girl and never liked it because he didn't find pleasure in it) usually avoided his scars and let him bother with their bodies instead. In fact, someone had even told him to just get surgery to remove them because they looked unappealing. But that's not the point. The point was, that no matter how new he found it when someone was licking his body, he kind of liked it. His fingers scratched at Sirius' shoulder, leaving red marks.
"You're so, so beautiful. I wouldn't change you for the world." Sirius kissed Remus' collarbone after finishing with the last scar, and boy, I'm telling you now, what happened soon after was unforgettable for the both of them.
