After stopping for gas and a quick bite to eat, they were back on the road. Tim headed southeast, hoping to leave the snow behind.

There was an awkward silence between them.

Tim kept his eyes glued to the road only giving quick glances over to the man that appeared in his dream last night.

As hard as he tried not to think about it, visions of the dream kept creeping back into his mind. He would have to shake his head to try and clear his mind. It had felt so real.

Not able to bear the silence anymore, Avi decided to try to strike up a conversation.

"Are you alright?" Avi asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Tim answers a little too quickly with a nod.

"Are you mad at me for something? Did I do something wrong?" Avi asks, needing answers to why Tim was acting so distant.

"No." Tim answers giving a quick glance in Avi's direction. "I'm not mad. Why do you ask?"

"Well, you just seem mad or upset with me." Avi sighs. "Could it be about this morning?"

Tim quickly snaps his head in Avi's direction. Swerving slightly off the road.

"TIM!" Avi shouts grabbing onto the dashboard.

Tim quickly gets the car back onto the road.

"What ... What do you mean?" Tim asks nervously.

"Well." Avi smiles shyly. "You had a pretty powerful erection happening this morning. And you started kissing me on my neck while you were still sleeping."

"Oh, sh*t." Tim mumbles looking back to the highway.

"So." Avi smirks as he turns in his seat to face Tim. "What were you dreaming about?"

"Uh, it really doesn't matter." Tim says.

"It must have been good." Avi smiles.

"Oh, if you only knew." Tim mumbles.

"Who were you dreaming about?" Avi asks as he bit his bottom lip.

"I ...I don't ... I don't remember." Tim lies. "You know how dreams are." He shrugs.

"Mhmm." Avi answers, staring at Tim suspiciously.

"I, uh, I think it's getting warmer." Tim comments, trying desperately to change the subject.

"Maybe a little. But I think it's mainly because you're blushing profusely." Avi chuckles.

Tim quickly pulls to the side of the road and slams the car into park. An action all too familiar to Avi.

"O.k., You wanna know about my dream? It was about you, alright. I was making love to you." Tim says as he glares at the green-eyed man. "And it was amazing. Is that what you wanted to hear? But I can't ... I can't let that ever happen. I'm a whore, Avi."

"No, you're not." Avi answers shaking his head. "A whore would have already tried their best to screw me. You haven't. You've only shown me kindness."

"But you have no idea what's going on in my mind." Tim says, shaking his head.

"And you have no idea what's going on in mine." Avi says as he reaches up grabbing Tim by the back of his neck and pulls him forcibly into a kiss. 

Tim moans slightly as he quickly deepens the kiss but pulls away suddenly at the sound of a car door slamming.

"Oh, sh*t." He says as he looks out the back window at the State Trooper setting behind them.

Thinking quickly, he grabs the road atlas from the back floorboard and pitches it into Avi's lap.

"What state are we in?" Avi says as he nervously thumbs through the pages.

"I have no f*cking idea." Tim says as the trooper taps on his window.

Tim takes a deep breath and rolls down the window.

"Is everything alright?" The trooper asks in a concerned voice.

"Uh, yeah." Tim nods as he pulls out his wallet and fished out his driver's licenses handing them to the trooper.

"No car trouble?" The trooper asks, looking at the licenses and handing them back.

"Oh, no." Tim gives a nervous chuckle. "Uh, we're just really not sure where we are."

Avi looks up from the atlas giving the trooper his best smile.

"You're about twenty miles from Twin Falls, Idaho." The trooper smiles.

"Idaho?" Tim questions with an almost disgusted look on his face.

"Any particular place you looking for?" The trooper asks.

"Well, naw. Not really." Tim chuckles. "We just decided on a road trip and thought we'd head out to the east coast."

"Found it." Avi says looking at the map.

"Awfully long road trip." The officer laughs.

"Well, neither of us have ever been to Florida. So we thought the drive would be interesting. You know, see the country." Tim says with a shrug.

"Beautiful country out there. You guys drive carefully and have fun. Nice car, by the way." The trooper smiles at Tim's old classic.

"Thank you." Tim smiles.

The trooper goes back to his car. 

"Idaho?" Tim laughs shaking his head as he rolls up his window.

"Well, we could either head south to Utah of east to Wyoming." Avi says looking at the map.

"Wyoming sounds interesting." Tim nods.

"Then Wyoming it is." Avi smiles, pitching the atlas to the back seat. "Are we sleeping in the car again tonight?"

"No, we'll get a room. I need a shower." Tim smiles over at him.

"Same." He smiles and nods, looking out the window at the scenery.

"Uh, Avi?" Tim says as he keeps his eyes on the road.

"Huh?" Avi says looking around.

"I have no idea where this, uh, adventure is going to lead us. I mean, I think we're both attracted to each other but let's just take it one day at a time and see what happens." Tim says before glancing over at his passenger. "I don't want you getting hurt."

"Hurt? How?" Avi asks looking puzzled.

"Just say that we start running low on money. Which we're not. But if we do, there's only one way I know how to get it." Tim answers as he looks sadly at Avi.
