AVALON STOOD BY THE OUTLOOK WATCHING THE DISC OF CAUTHESS IN THE DISTANCE, so many troops over there by the looks of it as well. She heard the men walking up, she turns seeing them with Iris in tow. Avalon smiles turning to them.

"So, we all set to go?" questions Iris, Noctis turns to her and nods.

"Avalon, do you remember the plan?" Ignis asks her as Avalon nods. "Alright, we'll meet you at the first stop."

"You got it." Avalon grins walking up towards the street and whistles loudly. A loud 'kweh' was heard in the distance, Iris was confused until she saw a white Chocobo rushing towards Avalon and slid to a stop. "I'll meet you there,"

"You're not riding with us?" questions Iris looking at everyone and then at Avalon wondering what was going on.

Avalon smiles her way. "With both of us in the car, it'll be impossible for me to feel comfortable." She told the young girl. "So, Ignis came up with a plan to have myself travel ahead and meet you at Cape Caem, but with it being so far, we're obviously going to make a stop so I'm meeting you there."

She gets onto her Chocobo smiling at everyone. "Meet you there, Ava. Be careful."

Avalon looks at her best friend and nods. "I will Prom." She kicks her Chocobo and begins running towards the first stop.

As her Chocobo runs through the fields of the Duscae region, Avalon had a lot to reflect a lot of what happened. It scared her, but she had to be brave for everyone. Avalon also though about Ardyn, what was he really? Nyx was even worried about him, telling her to watch her back. Taking a deep breath, Avalon continues onto the camping area they decided to meet at, she looked at her phone seeing the time, it was around noon. They should be there within the next couple hours, so Avalon had time to kill.

"Are you there, Avalon?" questioned a voice making her gasp and her Chocobo stops. Avalon looks around the area trying to find the voice. "Come here, we wanna play."

"Let's go." Her kick sends her Chocobo to the voice. "I'm going to figure out what this voice is, and then we'll continue on to Cape Caem."

His kweh was loud as they continue on the Cleigne region heading to the Malmalam Thicket. The voices felt like they were louder. Avalon kept the headaches at bay as she continues on. Avalon whimpers from the whispers in her head.

"You're getting close, Avalon. So close." The voice whispers in her head. Avalon winces from the pain. "We're not at the Thicket, in fact, we're closer. Turn left now." Avalon turns left and rushes towards the Veserpool. Avalon stops when her Chocobo wouldn't go any further. "Come in, Avalon. We're waiting."

Avalon growls jumping off her Chococo and walks into the Veserpool, taking a deep breath she continues on. Seeing a side of the Veserpool than ever. Her eyes hazing a little bit seeing something in front of her. She saw two beings in front of her but couldn't make out what they were. Feeling fain, Avalon falls over.

"Where am I..." She begins thinking.

Groaning awake, Avalon finds herself by the Veserpool, wondering how she got there. Avalon heard her phone ringing. As she sat up, she dug into her back pocket and fished out her phone answering it.

"Hello?"

"Where are you, Ava?" questioned Prompto over the phone. "You were supposed to be here an hour ago."

"I'll be there shortly," Avalon answered him hanging up before he could ask her any more questions. "How the hell did I end up here?" Her Chocobo nudged her arm to help her up making her grateful. Sighing quietly, the young woman stood up getting onto her Chocobo and they head to the camping spot near Cape Caem. Sighing quietly, Avalon continued on her journey.

She wondered what happened? How long was she out for? Those questions burned into her mind as her Chocobo trotted onto the camp. She looked at the sky seeing it was getting dark. Avalon takes a deep breath gently, putting her head down as her Chocobo walked into camp. Avalon felt him stop and she got off stretching her legs.

"Where the hell were you, Ava?" questioned Prompto as she walks towards him. "We were getting really worried!"

"I apologize," Avalon responds to him. "I got... sidetracked. It won't happen again."

Prompto immediately went quiet knowing she would tell him when she was ready. She sat down on the ground pulling out her ingredients and begins to make more potions and elixirs, finally figuring out how to do them after weeks of practice.

"What are you doing, Avalon?" questioned Iris sitting next to her.

Avalon looks at her with a smile. "I'm making Potions and Elixirs, gotta keep these boys scrape free."

"How long does it usually take you to make them and can you teach me?" questions Iris sitting next to her. Avalon continues looking at her with a smile.

Avalon nods; "It takes me... usually hours to make, but if you wanna help me, it might make it go quicker."

"Do you ever go to bed?"

Avalon shakes her head. "I'm usually up until the next day; I'm fine though."

Iris shakes her head and they both began to make the Potions and Elixirs.

The next morning, Avalon was up before anyone once more. She takes herself out of her sleeping bag and looks around seeing everyone still sleeping. Sighing quietly, Avalon gets out of the tent seeing the fire barely going, she combs her hair gently and then braids it. During that time, she gets everything ready and then hops on her Chocobo looking back.

"Alright, I'm going to meet them there, let's go." She nudges her Chocobo's side and they begin to head out. 

Avalon sighs trying to gather her thoughts, she began to think about what happened back in the Veserpool, who were those people and how did they know her? Questions filled her mind as the Chocobo continues heading on to Cape Caem. It was going to take another fifteen minutes to get there. Her Chocobo kweh's loud, signaling her to keep her guard up. Looking up she sees a Magitek Engine flying over her. Biting her lip, she guides her Chocobo towards it and when they landed on the ground, her Chocobo slid to a stop, shaking his head.

"I'll take care of them and be quick." Avalon gets down taking out her staff twisting it around herself and then charged at them. Taking them out swiftly and quickly before they could attack her. When she was done, she was surprised it was quick. "That... was not normal." She shook her head and then continues on her endeavors to Cape Caem.

Making it there, she could feel the crisp breeze the ocean was bringing, smiling big. She wishes her Chocobo the best and grabs her things heading up to the Lighthouse.

"Well, I see you made it early." She heard Cindy speak to her. Avalon stops turning to her and smiles. "Where's the boys?"

"They're on their way, should be here anytime," Avalon responds still holding a smile on her face. "I left early because Iris is with them."

"Well, the ol' girl can only hold so many people." Cindy laughs touching her shoulder. "Paw-paw's up there workin' on the boat, why don't you head up to the house and take a shower, I brought things to help you with what you need to do."

"You rock, Cindy." Avalon thanks her running to the house and to go take a shower. When she got to the house, she saw Talcott, she smiles touching his shoulder. "Hey, Talcott."

"Ava!" He called out hugging her waist making her giggle. "You made it! Where's Prince Noctis?"

Avalon smiles touching his head, "He's on his way, you'll see him shortly." Talcott nods and releases her.

"I look forward to it!" Avalon smiles again walking into the house and goes upstairs into the bathroom.

When she locked the door to the bathroom, it was just an average size bathroom, small bath with a showerhead. Two towels, she smiles stripping her clothes quickly, getting into the shower after taking her hair down. After getting everything done, she got out and dried her hair, squeezing the excess water out. 

After getting dressed again, she brushes her hair gently after conditioning, she could feel how soft it is. Letting out a sigh of content, she puts it in a high ponytail and then braiding said high pony. Finally reaching the end, she put another hair tie in and fixed her bangs. Finally satisfied with her look, she walked out of the bathroom putting the brush in her little bag and then walked out seeing the boys talking.

Avalon smiles and walks towards Prompto touching his shoulder, Prompto turns to her, and smiles at her as well. 

"You ready to go to Altissia?"

"Of course!"

As they go down the elevator to the bottom where the boat was, they walk down the steps to see Cor down there, Avalon looked at Noctis questionably, they all paused to look at the Marshal. "Something I gotta get off my chest."

"What's that?" questions Noctis, stopping in front of Cor. Avalon looks at Cor as well, wondering what he was going to say.

"I'm sorry." Cor apologized with a frown on his face. Avalon was confused, but Cor continues his apology. "Sorry I wasn't there for your father. I swore an oath to protect the king, but I wasn't strong enough to uphold it."

Cid walks in adding to it. "Ain't nothin' nobody could've done to stop what happened."

"Yeah, I realize that." Noctis responds sadly.

"But you need to realize just what you mean to the boys and young lady by your side," Cid adds to him, touching Noctis' shoulder.

Noctis nods, "I do."

"Even if they can't solve your problems, you can't hide what's goin' on from 'em." Cid said picking up the picture of the old days when he was with Regis and a couple others. "It hurts like hell. Remember—those ain't your bodyguards, they're your brothers and sister. Trust in 'em. Always."

Noctis looks at his friends, who all smile back at him. Everyone gathers around for the picture. Prompto felt proud of the picture, Avalon grins looking at everyone, Taking a deep breath Avalon looks at Noctis.

Noctis turns his head to Cid to speak to him again. Who tells them to get on the boat, Avalon gets on the boat enjoying the space it provided. Prompto touched her shoulder making her look at with a smile on her face.

"Having second thoughts?"

"Absolutely not," Avalon replies to him shaking her head. "I just hope nothing will happen while we're there."

"Don't worry, we got this."

"I sure hope so, Prom. I sure hope so..." Avalon pursed her lips tightly looking out into the ocean when they started going.
