A YOUNG WOMAN chased after her friends facing off against an unknown enemy using her staff to attack the enemy. Her short hair flew into her face. An explosion happened beside her, and she gasps looking back. Seeing her friend rolling around to get the fire off him.
"Hang in there, buddy!" She heard her childhood friend say as he patted their friend from the fire. "Stay down, we'll keep him busy."
Their other friend was kneeling calling their friend over. "Noct!" Noct struggled to get over to him, the young girl ran over quickly kneeling with their friend.
"Hurry!" She calls out to her friend. "Before he strikes again!"
Since he was struggling to walk over there another one of their friends quickly grabs him and pulls him down, as they huddled together, the men and young woman closed their eyes feeling the heat above them. When the heat stopped, the men got up and began attacking the enemy as the young woman touched her friends back with a smile.
"Let's go!" She said rushing into battle.

BEFORE THE FALL...
A young woman groans when she hears her phone ringing on the table beside her. Smacking her hand everywhere on said table, she finally found it the young woman looks at the screen seeing her best friend calling her. Letting out another groan she answers her phone;
"This better be good -"
"Wanna go on an adventure with us?"
Confused, the young woman sits up from her bed, her bare back was visible as she stretches a little bit, she questions him. "What are you talking about?"
"Wanna come with us to Altissia to see the Prince get married?"
"..." Taking a deep breath, she smiles at her best friend at his enthusiasm. She lets out an airy chuckle; "Let's do it!"
After hanging up the phone, she begins to get ready for the journey. Grabbing her bag filling it with the necessities, the young woman gets dressed and heads out smiling at her little apartment. Taking a deep breath, she begins to run to the Citadel; as she was running, she bumps into someone and she bows their way without glancing at them.
"I'm so sorry! I'm in a rush!" She calls out to him apologetically. "Please forgive me!" She then rushes off. The young man lets out a small chuckle and begins heading to his post. His blue eyes glancing back at her.
"Strange girl."
~
The young woman stood outside in the sun, enjoying the rays. Her sea-green eyes closed as she felt the wind against her skin. She wasn't invited in, it wasn't because they didn't want her to go in, it's because she didn't want too. She loved her friend with a passion, but the king was a different story. She respected his rule, and his country, but - as a person. She didn't respect him.
"Princes will be princes..." She heard a familiar voice comment as they began their descent down the steps. Her lips graced into a smile as her friends continue talking amongst themselves.
"So much for royal protocol." said another voice.
She was confused onto why they would say such things, but - she was sure one of them would explain it too her.
"Not like you had to deliver a formal address." said the third voice. The young woman trots up the stairs to her best friend, grinning towards him.
"Your highness!" called out a royal guard, making the prince stop in his tracks. They blink and look up seeing the king struggling to get down the steps.
"What now?" groans the prince trotting the way back up to his father.
"I'm afraid there was much left unsaid," the king began stopping the prince from going further, but the prince went to his side. "You place a great burden on those who would bear with you."
"You're one to talk." The prince chuckles.
The king sighs and looks at everyone. "I ask that you not guide my wayward son." The young woman looks at the king wondering what he meant. "But merely stay by his side."
Taking a deep breath, the young woman answers. "Of course, your majesty. We'll be with him every step of the way." She bows his way quickly.
The tall friend nods as he bows as well. "We'll see the prince to Altissia if it's the last thing we see."
"Hate to break it to you, but Cor's got the motor running." The prince sighs turning around ready to leave. "Drautos, he's in your hands." The prince begins to walk off. The young woman sighs rolling her eyes.
"And another thing," The king begins as the prince stops and turns to him. "Do mind your manners around your charming bride-to-be."
She finally heard enough and she turns back to the sun and begins walking to the car. When she got in the car, she sat in the middle of the back seat of the car called the 'Regalia' She sat there grabbing one of her books and began reading it.
They began heading off on their adventure, not knowing what they're going up against.
