Review:

I am absolutely in love with the prologue! The descriptions are beautiful and your choice of words are on point. I enjoyed the repetition of some sentences because it gave it a poetic feel which just underlined how surreal everything felt to the main character. 

The mood of the book is so dark that it's a different feel from other books I've read recently. It was all great until I got to the author's note at the beginning of the 2nd chapter. I don't think it's necessary to explain the flashbacks of certain characters to build depth. To be honest the author's note made me not want to read the chapter because it made it seem like it wasn't important.

I would watch how many times you say  " I'd" while writing. 

Other than those two things, I think it is beautiful writing. Most of it is almost poetic which really stands out. I can't wait to read more!
