Review:

So I would probably mark this as romance rather than general fiction. The overall storyline has great potential for grabbing readers attention and sucking them in. Death of a loved one is not an easy thing to go through or write about. I was intrigued to hear how Victoria would bounce back from her loss.

While the storyline has potential the flow is a little choppy. Some chapters are easy to follow while others are harder. It's not uncommon for authors to struggle with interactions between characters in a story. For me I imagine a scene playing out in my head and write it word for word. You can always cut what is unnecessary in a quick edit before you post.

From your author notes, I know you are aware of the grammatical errors in your work, so I'll just suggest revisiting prior chapters to edit. Not only will it flow better but updating often helps your work be seen as well!
