To EVERY Rivergold student that ever lived [the old generation] : I can't thank you enough for teaching me that I don't have to let my parents bring me down and that it's ok to break rules. Rules like our scary Dean banning the Athletics Department and the Performing Arts Department from socialising. You taught me how to stand up for what I believe in. We all have a passion. THAT should be what unites us. Not divides us.

To all new Rivergold Students: Some of the most important lessons I ever learned, weren't from the subjects themselves, but from the people I met. Be different. You might find out what I already know is true: You're all stars. Absolute gems.
