GHS vs RHS

Couple(s) - Verachcie, Bughead, Habrina, and Archina
Sabrina Season - 1
Focus - Riverdale, and Greendale face off for the game of the year bringing together two exes.

As the witching hour came to an end so did the first hour of Friday. When Sabrina Spellman awakes from her dark slumber she will be swept into the same craze her ancestors that were hung fell prey to. Except for this time, it wasn't a witch hunt.

"It's the first football game, but not just the first of the season," Susie jumps down the hall, "It's our first game ever with Riverdale!"

Harvey rolls his eyes, "What's the big deal? It's just football." Sabrina leans into his side. He pulls her close as they walk to the library. "Oh no. You had to ask," Rosalind glares at her friend's boyfriend.

After a long-winded rant about why football is an American tradition and why it must be upheld Sabrina states, "So it's just about watching the the the blood spill." "Basically," Susie, Harvey, and Rosalind sigh.

The closing of that topic allowed the teenagers to pull out their unfinished pre-cal.

"So 'Briana..." Harvey walks alongside his girlfriend. Their hands swing at their sides. "Yes, Harvey Kinkle?" Her smile casts a spell over his heart; a mortal spell.

"Will you go to the football game with me?" His eyes sparkle as he brings her hand up to study. "You are asking me to watch a barbaric game designed for young men? Why not," she shrugs.

The School of Unseen Arts has a similar Friday ritual, but instead of football, the women participate in another twist of The Lottery.

Harvey looks at his girlfriend in surprise. "I love you, Harvey," pushing her self up on her toes Sabrina kisses his soft lips. "I'll meet you there." Her brilliant smile leaves him floating on cloud nine.

"I don't understand why we have to go." Archie Andrews complains. He lays on his girlfriend's bed, his eyes trained on the door waiting for her father to burst through, hand on the bat that hasn't left his hand since his fathers shooting, but all thoughts leave his head as Veronica steps out of her bathroom.

"We could just stay here," Archie releases the bat so he can examine his goddess of a  girlfriend. "Archie Andrews!" She doesn't bother to hide her body. Her blue bra and matching thong. "I am a Vixen."

She slides her skin tight uniform on. "We are going to this game and you are going to watch me dance. I could care less about the sweaty meatheads on that field, but I need someone to protect me."

She climbs onto her bed and straddles his lap. "Please Archicans," she kisses his neck. "Okay, you win." With the argument over, he takes one last look at the door before flipping her over and ravishing her body.

On the Southside a similar conversation, with the addition of a black wig, went down in Sunnyside trailer park.

Greendale
◥✥◤

As the Greendale marching band left the field the football team began practicing.

"You are here early," Ms. Wardwell says to the teenage witch. Rosalind is pulled away from the group by Susie. "Susie is kind of obsessed with football. She insisted that we get here early." "Yes," Ms. Wardwell's gaze lingers on Harvey, "you are definitely early."

She departs. "There is something odd about her," Harvey whispers to Sabrina. You have no idea, Sabrina thinks. As Susie wanders back the band marches overplaying the school cadence and fellow Greendale students follow. The pep rally has begun.

Each group gets to do its thing. The band plays. The cheerleaders dance to the drums. The drill team kicks their feet high. And the football team throws their fists in the air.

"It's chaotic yet organized," Sabrina leans her head on Harvey's shoulder. "Is the American Culture of young men beating the snot out of each other finally pulling the Sabrina Spellman into its grasp?" He jokes. Sabrina sticks her tongue out at him.

"Look!" Rosalind points toward the blue and yellow colored students.

The two girls are in some sort of uniform. The boys are dressed opposite. The redhead in a wrestling jersey and the dark mysterious one in a leather jacket. "We should go talk to them!" Sabrina's bushy-haired friend goes toward the opposing team.

"Oh my, Satan!" Sabrina whispers. Her eyes catch on the redhead. "Sabrina?" Harvey notices her gaze and follows it to Archie Andrews.

"Sabrina Spellman!" Archie shouts. "Archie!" Sabrina smiles. "You go to Riverdale?" The surprise is evident in her voice. The dark headed Vixen hooks her arm around the redheads waist. "And you go to Greendale?"

"You do know each other?" Susie questions. Sabrina laughs. "I guess it's kind of like Grease. We met. Summer ended and we never saw each other again," Archie states. "Like  the movie Grease??" Harvey exclaims as the pep rally moves toward the stadium causing the group to be separated.

"Meet up with us after the game!" Sabrina shouts over a tuba. "We will meet here," the boy wearing leather shouts back.

As the game went on Harvey couldn't focus on the score. All he could think of was ways anyone's relationship could be like Grease. "Go... first down!" Susie and Sabrina jump out of their seats. Rosalind, who sits by Susie who sits by Sabrina then Harvey, rolls her eyes at her friends before catching Harvey's studious gaze.

"That gaze is to intense for a football game," She half whispers half yells behind her still standing friends. The referee had called some foul on Riverdale. "Look down!" Rosalind shouts.

The crowd cheers as Riverdale is penalized. Harvey looks down. His phone buzzes.

Don't worry about it. I haven't heard about him. Neither has Susie.

Harvey texts back

She's never told me about him either...

Exactly. He is not worth mentioning. What ever happened between them Sabrina didn't not feel strongly about it. And I know because we talk about everything! Now put away your phone and watch the game.

Sabrina sits back down and leans into Harvey's arms. "We," she shrugs, "dated for a small period two summers ago. I never mentioned him because it meant nothing after I met you Harvey," she runs her fingers through his blond hair.

Harvey encircles her waist with his arms. The teenage witch sighs as she thinks about her fast approaching sixteenth.

"So you and the blond?" Jughead Jones questions his best guy friend. His girlfriend sits to his right and the Veronica and Archie. Betty and Veronica lean back allowing their conversation to continue with ease.

"She's cute," Veronica states. No jealousy present. Just a fact. "Cute?" Betty can't contain a laugh. "Kind of like you Betty. She has that girl next door vibe but she has a dark side."

Betty nods in agreement. "Guys!" Archie interjects. "It's okay Archikins," Veronica stands up and pulls Betty with her, "we all have our sexy past relationships." She plants a kiss on the redheads lips before pulling her best friend back to the field.

The game continues. The bands play back and forth. The cheerleaders jump and shout at the audience. And a witch whispers a soft spell.

The ball belonged to Riverdale and at that moment the star quarter back for Greendale swipes the ball. In perfect unison another Greendale player distracts the Riverdale quarterback as the ball disappears. 50. 45. 30! And out of no where the quarterback trips and the ball flys directly at the Greendale cheerleaders.

A soft whisper is heard as the ball hits an invisible wall and falls to the feet of Veronica Lodge.

"That was crazy!" Susie jumps down the stadium steps. "Did you see that ball straight down.." she ramble, "touch down Greendale, yeah!" She cheers before recounting Greendale's highlight moments especially the winning throw.

"Yes an excellent game," Veronica gives Susie a friendly smile before hooking arms with her. Betty and Jughead join the group with Archie.

Sabrina grasps Harvey's hand. "So where's the best place to eat?" Jughead asks.

The Greendale students take the Riverdale students to their equivalent of Pops. "So tell us," Veronica, who is sitting by Betty and Susie, slurps her milkshake, "How did you meet my handsome redhead?"

Across from them Sabrina sits in between Betty and Rosalind. Harvey sits on one end of the table and Jughead and Archie in the other.

"Um, a summer trip. I had just arrived in Salem," Sabrina begins. Archie picks up, "And she entered a gift shop. I thought that a real life witch had walked into the shop, but of course it was my imagination fueled by all the witch merchandise."

"You thought she looked like a witch!" Betty narrows her eyes. "No," Archie shakes his head before looking at the teenage witch, "not like any witch I'd ever seen before."

"We talked and he decided to tag along on my quest," at the quizzical eyes of the Riverdale residents she explains, "my ancestors are from Salem."

"And that is it." Archie finishes the story with a long sip of his milkshake. "Yep," agrees Sabina. "And then I came home and met you Harvey Kinkle," her eyes filled with the purest magic known to man, love.

The night concluded with the witching hour just an hour away. New friends and rivalries forged.

"It was nice to meet you," Harvey says genuinely. He shakes hands with the man he was sure not but an hour ago that he would hate. "You will have to come down! Soon. Really soon!" Veronica kisses Sabrina's cheek. "All of you," she finishes with a kiss for both Rosalind and Susie.

In the middle of all the good byes two gazes met and a wink and knowing smile where traded.

And an old secret kept.
