My world was slowly falling apart. Everyone that I loved was leaving. My mom, Betty, and now maybe even Jughead. Even I was becoming distant.             
I woke up in a hospital bed with Veronica beside me holding my hand.  "Archiekins," said Veronica.             
I sat up a bit and open my eyes completely. There was suddenly a sharp pain in my chest where the knife had collided with my skin.  "How long? How long have I been out?" I asked Ronnie.  "Since yesterday. Jughead went to grab us food from Pops," she replied biting her bottom lip.             
Jughead. He probably felt like it was his fault. It really wasn't though, Malachai was guilty. Playing with knives and Jugheads feelings. He was definitely missing Betty and me getting stabbed just added onto the pile.  Just then Jug walked in.  "Hey, you're awake," he said.  "Yeah, ow though," I said.  "Look, Arch, I'm sorry," he stuttered.  "No, Jughead, it wasn't your fault. We're cool," I said cutting him off and ensuring him that it was fine.  "Okay. Well here is your food," Jughead said, handing the paper bags to us.        
     We sat in the hospital room for about another hour and then the doctor came in.  "You're going to recover perfectly fine. It may hurt for a couple of days and it will leave a minor scar. Just be careful about it.", she said.  "Thanks," we all replied.             
After the doctor left Jughead stood up and walked towards the door.  "I'm going to go get the Serpents and try to find where the Ghoulies are hiding Betty. I won't be alone so don't worry. I'll be back soon," he stated.        
   He left and we sat there for a little while eating our food before Veronica told me that some other people might be visiting. Kevin, Reggie, and a few other Bulldogs came to the hospital and sat down.  "So, let me get this straight. Everyone was tricked, Betty got kidnapped, you have been stabbed, and this is all because of Penny?" asked Kevin.  "Yeah," I told him sitting up a little.  "Do you guys have any idea where she is?" asked Reggie.  "No. We only know that they have been hiding out in Fox Forest and near the banks of Sweet Water River," replied Veronica.  "Have you guys thought about checking near the bunker? They probably know about it and since no one that I know of has been going there lately they could have taken it over without us noticing," said Kevin.  "You are pure genius, Kevin! I'll call Jughead and tell him to check the place out," Veronica said as she left the room and we sat there in silence.  "I feel bad for him. Jughead I mean. Betty got kidnapped and he wasn't there, who by the way, had his beanie, and I just got a knife lodged in me in front of his face," I plainly stated.             
Veronica walked back into the room and told us that Jughead and the Serpents were checking out the area where Dilton and Ben's old bunker was.  Who knows if they're actually there. It is likely, considering we would usually find random people using it sometimes. I just hope he finds Betty quickly and without getting her hurt. Not that I would ever think he would purposely, but the Ghoulies will definitely do something to her. They could have kidnapped her for a lot of things including information about any other gangs. We all know what they'll do for power and knowledge. Torture is probably their go-to method. I just hope none of us will have to find out about their special techniques.  They have been testing us way too long. It's time to end this game, and we are going to be the ones winning.
