A few days later at Riverdale High School, Serena was with her friends Midge and Josie as they were chatting about cheer practice or other occasions. She wears a magenta and pink sleeveless button-up dress, and a pair of navy purple knee-high boots. She also has a purple diamond hairpin on her hair, which is a gift from Cheryl.

"Wow, I can't believe it Serena, you are actually the new president of the Serpents club?" Asked Josie in surprise.

"Yeah, apparently I'm helping them trying to fit in here at Riverdale, they can still be themselves, even if they can't wear their jackets." Said Serena as she smiles." And since I help them, they decided to make me their new president."

"Wow Serena, first you are a straight A student, then you are co-captain if the Vixen Cheerleading squad, and now you are the new president of the new club." Said Midge as she smiles." Man Serena, you are so cool, no wonder you are really popular here at this school."

That got Serena to smile at her friends that they are happy for her. Then Josie have started to see that the scar from her forehead is gone but then she started to look at Serena.

"So Serena, how was your doing after the day when Reggie have got you?" Asked Josie as she looks at her friend.

"Well, my injury is long gone, but Reggie has been apologizing me every single time, keep giving me gifts, and keeps asking me out to make it up to me." Said Serena as she explains." I'm telling you, he is getting really annoying."

"I just can't believe that guy." Said Midge as she rolls her eyes.

Then the bell began to ring meaning that it's time for their last class of the day, so the three girls have all started to go to their last class, which is science class, then as they arrive to their class, they started to take their seats.

"Hey, I see that the Serpents are doing okay." Said Midge as she smiles.

Then when Serena saw Sweet Pea sitting with his friends, he turn to see her sitting at her seat, she started to smile at him and wave at his direction, and then he smirk at her and wink at her.

"Oh, it looks like someone has a crush." Said Midge as she smirks.

"What, oh come on Midge, I'm only being nice to him." Said Serena as she rolls her eyes." But I have to admit, he is really handsome and I have to say, I really like how he flexed his muscles."

Serena make sure that she says it softly so that no one will hear her except Josie and Midge, but what she didn't know was that Sweet Pea have heard her, and he began to smirk about that. Then the science teacher came in and class started.

"Alright now class, I have the test graded from last week." Said the science teacher." As I'm sure that you are all aware, I don't lie, this test was hard."

So the science teacher started to hand out the test back to the students. Some were happy about their grades but some are not happy about it. Then Sweet Pea look at his test and saw that he got a 60% on his grade.

"Aw man." Said Sweet Pea as he look annoyed.

"Well, at least it's not an F Sweet Pea, meanwhile I got a 67% on this test." Whisper Fangs as he look at his test.

"I got a 71% on my test." Said Toni as she looks at her test.

"And before anyone comes to me complaining the test was impossible." Said the science teacher as he grab a sheet of the test." I offer proof it was not, someone did manage to get a 100% on the test."

That kinda got the Serpents to get a bit shock that someone got a perfect score on their test. But of course, they realize that it has to be a Northside student that got a perfect score on the test.

"Oh boy, I wonder who is the lucky Northside student that got a perfect score?" Whisper Sweet Pea as he rolled his eyes.

Then the science teacher started to go to the desk where Serena is sitting at, which have gotten the Serpents full attention, and then they turn to see who got a perfect score on the test, and then the teacher look at Serena.

"Congratulations Serena, a perfect score on your test." Said the science teacher.

That got Sweet Pea to get really shock that Serena have got a perfect score on her test. Then as the science continues the lesson after hiving out the test, the bell have began to ring, meaning that school is over, and everyone have started to grab their stuff.

"Alright now class, for today's homework, figure out all the gemstones and figure out what are the minerals." Said the science teacher.

So everyone have started to leave the classroom and started to head home. Serena went to her locker to get her stuff, she then remembered that Cheryl canceled cheer practice today because she has something important to do. But before Serena was about to go, someone tap on her shoulder and she turn to see that it was Sweet Pea.

"Oh hi Sweet Pea." Said Serena as she smiles.

"Hey Serena, I wanted to say that congratulations on getting a perfect score on the test." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

"Thanks Sweet Pea, I always told my friends that if we study really hard, we can get better." Said Serena as she smiles." How did you do?"

"Not so good, I'm just not really great at science." Said Sweet Pea as he look at Serena." But you are really smart at science."

"Yeah, I once solve a really hard science problem and got a perfect score." Said Serena as she smiles.

That got Sweet Pea to get really shock that Serena is really smart. Then he realized that he had this homework that he doesn't know, so he look at Serena and started to ask her something.

"Say Serena, I had the sand science homework in our class, but I don't understand these questions, so I was wondering if you can help me with it?" Asked Sweet Pea a bit nervously.

"Oh sure Sweet Pea, I would really love to help you with your science homework." Said Serena as she smiles." Why don't we go to my house, so we can do our homework there, I also wanted you to meet my mom."

"Sure, that would be great." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles." Is your house that far, because I remember that today, I didn't ride my motorcycle, I took the bus."

"My house is about seven minutes from here, we could walk if you don't mind?" Asked Serena as she smiles.

"Sure, I could use a little exercise right now." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

So Sweet Pea and Serena have both started to leave the school and started to go to Serena's house. As they walk to to neighborhood, Sweet Pea was getting really impressed at where Serena was living at.

"Wow Serena, your neighborhood is really nice." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles

"Thanks, but the things is that it may look nice here, but some family's don't seem really nice." Said Serena as she explains.

"Oh I see, that sometimes happen in my neighborhood." Said Sweet Pea as he understand and then he smirk." Say one question Serena, is it true that you think I'm handsome and you like it when I flex my muscles?"

That got Serena to get really shock and she was so blushing so red that her face was starting to get a bit reddish like a tomato.

"Oh my god, did you really heard that during science class?" Asked Serena in embarrassment and Sweet Pea nodded." Oh my gosh, now I'm really embarrassed now."

"Hey, I kinda think that it's pretty cool if you ask me, and if you want, you wanna see muscles now?" Asked Sweet Pea as he was about to lift up his shirt.

"What, are you crazy, not in front of the neighborhood!" Said Serena as she puts Sweet Pea's shirt back down.

"What, I'm just kidding." Said Sweet Pea as he smirks.

That got Serena to roll her eyes about the boy she is with. Then they both have started to arrive at Serena's house, and when Sweet Pea look at her house, he was really impressed at how big it is.

"Wow, your house is really nice Serena, and really big." Said Sweet Pea as he was impressed.

"Yeah, my mom and I are trying to make sure our lives are okay." Said Serena as she smiles.

Then Serena and Sweet Pea have both started to enter the house, and Sweet Pea was really impressed at the inside of the house.

"Wow, your house is more impressive on the inside." Said Sweet Pea as he look really impressed.

"Thanks Sweet Pea." Said Serena as she smiles.

Then as they enter the house, Serena's mother have started to come inside the room, as soon as she heard the door open.

"Hi sweetie, I thought I heard you from the door." Said Sabrina as she smiles and saw Sweet Pea." Oh, and who is this handsome boy here?"

"Mom, this is Sweet Pea, he is the new student that transfer to Riverdale High, and he is also the Southside Serpents." Said Serena as she smiles.

"Why hello there, my name is Sabrina, I'm Serena's mother." Said Sabrina as she smiles.

"It's nice to meet you Miss." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

"We came home because he ask me to help him with his homework." Said Serena as she smiles." We were about to go to my room and study."

"Oh alright, I'll be at the kitchen if you need me." Said Sabrina as she smiles and Serena and Sweet Pea were about to go upstairs." Oh and Serena, keep your door open, I don't want you or your new friend to do any funny business."

"Mom!" Said Serena in embarrassment and Sweet Pea also blush.

So Serena and Sweet Pea have both started to go Serena's room to study on the science homework. Serena and Sweet Pea have both started to talk about the different types of gems and Sweet Pea was getting really good at it. As they began to read, they thought that it's time to write down the answers without looking the books.

"Alright now Sweet Pea, lets see if you got the correction of these gems." Said Serena as she smiles." You ready?"

"I think I am." Said Sweet Pea as he looks ready.

"Now, what's a pearl?" Asked Serena as she looks at Sweet Pea.

"A pearl is a hard, lustrous spherical mass, typically white or bluish-gray, formed within the shell of a pearl oyster or other bivalve mollusk and highly prized as a gem." Said Sweet Pea as he got it correct.

"That's right Sweet Pea, now what's a ruby?" Asked Serena.

"A ruby is a precious stone consisting of corundum in color varieties varying from deep crimson or purple to pale rose." Said Sweet Pea.

"That's right, what's a aquamarine gem?" Asked Serena.

"A aquamarine is a precious stone consisting of a light bluish-green variety of beryl. Its also the birthstone for the month of March." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

"That's correct Sweet Pea, just three more and you're almost done." Said Serena as she smiles." Now then, what's a emerald gem?"

"A emerald is a bright green precious stone consisting of a chromium-rich variety of beryl by trace amounts of chromium and sometimes vanadium." Said Sweet Pea as he writes that down at his paper.

"That's right Sweet Pea, alright now, what is an amethyst gem?" Asked Serena.

"Amethyst is a precious stone consisting of a violet or purple variety of quartz." Said Sweet Pea as he continues to write." It is the purple variety of the mineral Quartz, and its most valuable and prized variety."

"That's correct Sweet Pea, now here's the last one, what is a sapphire gem?" Asked Serena as she smiles.

"A sapphire is a a transparent precious stone, typically blue, that is a variety of corundum." Said Sweet Pea as he finish." But they are more than just blue, they can be pink, purple, or yellow."

"That's correct, you did it Sweet Pea, you got all of them right!" Said Serena as she smiles.

"I did it, I can't believe I really did it, I'm going to get a good grade at science class tomorrow." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

"I knew you could do it Sweet Pea, I'm really happy for you." Said Serena as she smiles.

That got Sweet Pea to blush at what Serena said and smile at her, then when he look at Serena, he saw at how beautiful Serena is when her eyes sparkle and how her smile brightens up the room. Then Sabrina have started to come in the room.

"Serena, dinner is almost ready." Said Sabrina as she smiles." Sweet Pea, would you like to stay for dinner, I'm making lasagna."

Then when Sabrina have said that, Sweet Pea's stomach have began to growl, meaning that he was starting to get really hungry. Then he started to look at Sabrina.

"I would love too." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

So Serena, Sweet Pea, and Sabrina have started to go downstairs to the kitchen, then as they enter the dining room, Sweet Pea and Serena have started to sit down at the table, and Sabrina came in with the lasagna and set it on the table.

"Enjoy you two." Said Sabrina as she smiles.

So Serena and Sweet Pea have both started to grab a piece of lasagna and put it on their plate, as Sabrina sit down at the table, and as Sweet Pea, took a bite out of the lasagna, he was really surprised that it taste really good.

"Wow, this is really Ms." Said Sweet Pea as he look at Sabrina.

"Why thank you Sweet Pea, and please, call me Sabrina." Said Sabrina as she smiles." So how school going so far, besides with all the Serpents have to wear uniforms, and not allow to wear their jackets."

"Well, the school is way better than Southside High, there is internet, textbooks, and a computer lab." Said Sweet Pea as he explains.

"That's really nice, are there any activities that you might be trying out for?" Asked Sabrina as she smiles.

"Well, I was thinking about trying out for a basketball team." Said Sweet Pea as he smirks.

"Oh I see, you know, my daughter is from the cheerleading squad, maybe she can cheer for you." Said Sabrina as she smiles.

"You know, I could really use that, I mean, I bet she is a great cheerleader." Said Sweet Pea as he smirk at Serena.

"Oh come on Sweet Pea, you saw me cheering the other day when I ask you to hangout with me at Pop's." Said Serena as she roll her eyes.

"Oh yeah, I remember that, you were really cute in that skirt." Said Sweet Pea as he smirks and Serena roll her eyes.

"You know, back then during my high school year, I was a River Vixens cheerleader, but I was the captain of the cheer squad." Said Sabrina as she smiles.

"Wow mom, you never told me that." Said Serena in shock.

"Woah, you were captain of the cheerleading squad back then?" Asked Sweet Pea.

"I was, back in my day, I had the highest kick on the squad." Said Sabrina as she smiles." If you want, I can show you my yearbook after dinner."

That got Sweet Pea and Serena to like the idea, so they both finished their dinner, then as they both clean up, Serena and Sweet Pea have both went to the living room, and Sabrina came in with her old yearbook of Riverdale High School and started to show the two teens her picture.

"This is a picture of me when I was a teenager and a cheerleader." Said Sabrina as she smiles.

When Sweet Pea and Serena look at the picture, they were really shock at how beautiful and great Sabrina is back then, but what shock Serena the most was that her mother lock just like her except the eye color.

"Wow mom, you look just like me." Said Serena in a bit of surprise.

"Yes, lets just say that I was a bit popular back then." Said Sabrina as she smiles." And as you know, I was friends with your friends parents even Penelope back then."

That got Serena to smile at her mom, then as Sweet Pea was going through the pages of the yearbook, he then saw another of young Sabrina with a teenage boy next to her with his arm around her waist.

The teenage boy was none other then Joseph in the picture when he was a teenager back then. He had a black shirt with a white skull on it, black leather jacket, black pants on, and black boots with straps on.

"Wow, excuse me Sabrina, but who is the boy in this picture with you?" Asked Sweet Pea.

Then when Sabrina look at the picture to where Sweet Pea was looking at, she then started to smile a bit, and started to answer his question.

"That's my husband, Joseph, back then during high school." Said Sabrina as she smiles." We were high school sweethearts back then, we were always together, and we were voted prom king and queen during our senior year before he died when Serena was born."

"Wow, that's really cool that you and your husband were prom king and queen back then." Said Sweet Pea as he look at Sabrina." And, I'm really sorry about your loss, Serena told me how he died, and I'm really sorry about your loss."

"Thank you dear, to be honest, it was hard being a single mom when I had to take care of Serena, but I did my best." Said Sabrina as she looks at Serena and smile.

Then Serena smile back at her mom, then as she looks at the the clack to know what time it is, it read that it's 8:30 now.

"Woah, it's 8:30 already." Said Serena and Sweet Pea look at the clock.

"Wow, it's that late already, I need to get back to the trailer park." Said Sweet Pea as he look shock." But then again, I remember that I didn't ride my motorcycle today."

"Why don't Serena and I drive you back to the trailer park?" Asked Sabrina as she smiles.

"That will be nice." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

So Sweet Pea have started to grab his stuff, then Sabrina, Serena, and Sweet Pea have started to go to the car, and started to drive to the trailer park at the Southside. So as they arrived at Southside of Riverdale, they have arrived at the trailer park, and stop at Sweet Pea's trailer.

"Thank you for bringing me back at my home Sabrina and Serena." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

"Your welcome Sweet Pea, I'm always happy to help." Said Sabrina as she smiles.

"I'll see you at school Sweet Pea." Said Serena as she smiles.

"See you at school." Said Sweet Pea as he smiles.

So Sweet Pea got out of the car and then started to go inside his trailer, then Serena smile at Sweet Pea, and Sabrina started to drive back home.

"That boy seems really nice and I really like him." Said Sabrina as she smiles.

"I like him too." Said Serena as she smiles.

Then as Sabrina continues to drive back home, Serena have started to think about Sweet Pea and blush a bit when she remembers him, and started to think that maybe they can be more than friends in the future.
