At school the next day Betty and Kevin are at Betty's locker Betty telling Kevin what she saw last night with Veronica and Archie

'Well they could have been talking about something completely different from you're thinking of' Kevin says, Betty looks at him

'Kev my window was opened I heard everything that they said' Betty says, Kevin looks behind Betty

'Well you can ask her yourself' Kevin says

Betty turns around and they see Veronica and Hermione walking out of the principal's office

'Hey mom, I'm going to go talk to Betty and Kevin real quick, then we can go' Veronica says

'Sure Mija' Hermione says, she smiles at her, Veronica walks up to them

'Hey V, what's going on now?' Betty asks

'I'm not going to be at school for a couple of days' Veronica says

'Why?' Kevin asks

'Because Hiram died last night in his sleep' Veronica says

'Oh my God, V, I'm so sorry' Betty says

Betty hugs Veronica and Betty looks at Hermione, Hermione smiles at her, they stop hugging then Veronica and Kevin hugs, Veronica looks at Betty

'We have to go now and do the funeral arrangements to do the faster we get it done the better the town will be, tell the others ok' Veronica says

'Yeah sure' Betty says

'I'll call you later, bye' Veronica says

'Bye' They both says, Veronica leaves

In the lounge everybody is there everybody is in shock kinda of they knew that Hiram was going to eventually die but they didn't think not this fast this soon

'You know what she said to us that was Strange' Kevin says

'What?' Fangs asks

'The faster we get it done the better the town will be' Kevin says

'Well he did ruin a lot of people's lives' Toni says

'TT is right' Cheryl says

'She also said that they have funeral arrangements but if Hiram was dying like they said he was' Betty says

'That's means they already have the funeral planned out' Judhead says

'Which also means that the funeral is today' Archie says

'I know that everybody here hasn't known Veronica that well yet but I think that we should go there and be there for her and her mom, and Archie's mom, for moral support' Betty says, everybody agrees

With what Betty said everybody went home and changed their clothes into something black and headed to the cemetery when they all gets there it's just Veronica, Hermione and Mary standing beside Hiram's coffin they don't see them walking up to them

'Mind if we join you guys?' Betty asks, all of them looks at them

'No, not all' Veronica says

'We know that Hiram wasn't a good guy but with you guys taking over the family business and making a new legacy with it, we thought that you guys needed some support and comfort during this oddly time' Toni says

'Thank you everyone for coming' Hermione says

'You're welcome' Archie says, With that being said the funeral goes on smoothly

After the funeral everybody is talking before they leave

'How did you know that the funeral was today?' Veronica asks, she walks up to Betty

'Well we sat around the lounge room and figured that you guys already had his funeral arrangements already planned out because you guys said he was dying so eventually we knew that he was going to die just didn't know that it was going to be this fast' Betty says

'Yeah, either did us, I guess he was already sick before telling us' Veronica says

'Well if you guys need anything we're always here for you guys no matter what' Betty says, Veronica smiles

'I know that, and we appreciate that you guys did come even though Hiram was a bad guy like Toni said' Veronica says, Betty looks at her

'How are you feeling?' Betty asks

'A mix of emotions, anger, sad, happy' Veronica says

'Bittersweet, right?' Betty asks

'Yeah, it is' Veronica says

'I know that this shouldn't be the time and place to do this but I heard what you and Archie talked about last night' Betty says, Veronica looks at her

'I had my bedroom window open and you guys are not quietness people when talking' Betty says, Veronica chuckles

'I wasn't to threatening him like Hiram would have done but just to guide him into a new direction of love, just because it didn't work out with you guys doesn't mean that he has to sit in sorrow over it' Veronica says

'Yeah, I do agree with you on what you said about there is someone out there for him, he just needs to find her, or she needs to find him' Betty says

'They will find each other one day eventually, everything takes time' Veronica says, they look at each other and smiles

Archie is staring at Betty as she's talking to Veronica then Judhead walks up to him

'Hey, Arch' Judhead says, Archie looks at him

'Hey, Jud' Archie says

'Man I don't know about you but I feel like I'm at one of these tv show funerals' Judhead says

'Yeah, it sure feels like it' Archie says

'You still hung up on Betty?' Judhead asks

'No, actually Veronica told me last night to move on from Betty and she's right I have to because her and Betty are dating, right?' Archie asks

'I think so, I don't know if they have made it official or not yet but they will eventually one day' Judhead says

'Yeah' Archie says

Hermione is overhearing Judhead and Archie talking now everything makes sense to her why Veronica is always hanging out with Betty so much lately and she couldn't be happier for Veronica and Betty, after everybody talks and eats they all goes home
