[ PROLOGUE: THE GOSPEL OF THE SAVIOR ]
❝ OH SHE WAS HEAVEN'S GREATEST
CREATION AND HELL'S FINEST FOOL. ❞
Long ago, God had created a prophecy, a prophecy that stated on the date of January 24, 1494 a vigorous soul would be born into the world with a heart as pure as the sun and an aurora coated with liquid gold. Ichor would run through the newly born soul like a gentle flowing stream. The very light within them that was apart of the almighty God himself would swarm through their entire self emitting a blaze that even a mortal eye could see. This celestially soul would be the world's very own savior that would conquer all that is vile and go forth headstrong into battle to protect the mortals that resided on earth. With a soul handcrafted by the omnipotent God, a will to be courageous for those who could not given by the archangels inhabited in heaven, and a heart full of His pure light, this savior would bring peace on earth.
When the final day came, January 24, 1494, many new souls were born and brought into this world, but only one was the legendary lionhearted savior. The minute the very eyes that were vibrant and warm like a loving fire ablaze opened for the first time there was no doubt about it that this little baby girl was destined for greatness. Alejandra Salvador would be victorious in the war that was soon to come. For it was written in the word of God that the savior would slay the serpent beasts of the night, demolish their empire, and fight for the lives of the innocent.
Many years had passed by since the remarkable birth of the savior, Alejandra Salvador, and it was no surprise that this bravado young Latina woman had become the very first female renowned soldier. Alejandra had conquered many lands, triumphed in numerous battles, and saved countless lives beside her fellow soldiers such as Carlos Felipe, one of her greatest companions. The two have traveled far and wide ever since they had enrolled themselves to become soldiers. From England to the New World.
Conquests had always been Alejandra's specialty, besides her valiant power during battle. She was never fearful of a challenge, not even when Hernán Cortés had spoken of a ancient island filled with unspoken riches. The gallant heroine packed her bags and had set sallied with Hernán Cortés, the 500 other soldiers, and 11 ships to the fabled island in 1519. When they had reached the island Cortés had given Alejandra and Carlos the honor of claiming the land. It seemed that as soon as the the two plunged the steal sword into the soft sand Alejandra's mind became clear. The passage had finally became visible to her. The prophecy had officially begone.
When Alejandra set foot on the land of the pagans' territory she knew that she had to slay the one they worshiped the most. There was only one God and she had to show them that. Alejandra told herself that she needed to show them the truth, but deep down inside she knew that wasn't the reason why she had to eliminate their idol. There was a more complex meaning behind it all. What she knew for sure was that it had to be done and nothing would stop her. At least that's what she had thought in the beginning.
The day the natives of the land had agreed to take Alejandra and Carlos to their temple there was a weight that had lifted off the young woman's shoulders. It was as if she could slowly feel herself become free and soar to greater heights. Once the two soldiers had reached the temple they took in all the riches that were placed inside. Carlos was more interested in it all rather than Alejandra. She was there for one reason and one reason only, and soon after Carlos had marveled over the abundant amounts of gold, that reason had came into view. A woman more beautiful than any mortal on earth was shackled in the temple. As soon as Alejandra gazed upon the woman it became clear that she was the idol that all the natives had praised.
That day Alejandra was more than ready to slew the gorgeous woman's head clean off, but things immediately changed when said woman showed her devilish true form and turned Carlos into a creature of unholiness. Alejandra couldn't bring herself to kill her one and only true friend, her one and only true love. It was unlike her to feel so helpless, to feel defeated, to run away like a coward. The second she saw that sickening woman Alejandra should have cut her head off with her sword, but she didn't and for that all eternity she would have to pay the price of watching that she-beast turn other innocent lives into wicked monsters just like her with pained eyes clouded with the guilt and regret. For not completing her prophecy Alejandra was cursed immortal for the rest of her days and would never die until she accomplished her quest to slaying each and every one of the evil serpent monstrosities.
Eventually as the years began to past by right before Alejandra's eyes she had lost all hope and given up on fulfilling her destiny. There was nothing left to fight for anymore, her family had been slaughtered by the bloodsucking monsters, her one true love had been taken from her by the savage she-devil, and every single person she got close to was killed by the beasts. They had beat Alejandra at her own game and they were utterly victorious at it. The population of the serpent creatures had eventually grown worldwide and Alejandra knew there was nothing she could do anymore, so she did the one thing she despised, she surrendered to the enemy. The once heroic woman that fought for free will and the greater good was now the beasts' own little soldier. Alejandra now worked for them, she was their slave for all eternity.
In the beginning she was heaven's greatest creation, but in the end she was hell's finest fool.
