Here's the thing about Drifting:

When you Drift with someone, you're exposed to everything. You can hear your partner's every thought, relive their every memory, experience their every emotion; and it all passes by in a flash. Drifting melds two—or in some cases, three—minds together. You work as one unit. When one pilot lifts their arm, the other is prompted to do the same. Two people literally become the one brain operating a Yeager.

However, no matter how simple Drifting sounds, it's far from it. It's so easy to let lost in someone else's mind, to chase the R.A.B.I.T. (Random Access Brain Impulse Triggers) and lose your control over your Yeager. I cannot even begin to count the number of Rangers who have let themselves become distracted by memories—those belonging to them or their co-pilot.

And the first Drift? It's always the roughest.

What is an Kaiju:

are a race of amphibious creatures genetically engineered by the Precursors, a sentient race from the Anteverse. In 2013, the Precursors opened a portal between dimensions at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, allowing the Kaiju to enter Earth's dimension.

Kaiju Category:

I'm going to just give them five ranks, I know there's a lot more but within this story I'll just use five.

So the weakest with be at Category I (1) and the strongest with be at Category V (5)

Marks/Titans:

I won't be using the different Marks info since It's been a really long time since I watched them and I can't even remember the different ones. Let's just call them all as the Titans weapons and I'll personalize each one to have a name.

HEADS UP!!!!

It's been a very .. very long time since I watched this film. I think I watched it when it came out on dvd because a family member let us borrow it after they bought it. But it wasn't my cup of tea, I'm not hating on the film. It just wasn't my thing, I had good parts but I just found it boring and long.

Meaning, I don't know how this oneshot will come out but I'm giving it a go since it seems lot's of people like Pacific Rim Au's and asked about it.

"Oi! Shush it brat otherwise I'll have to make you" Levi growled as he glared to one of the new pilots joining up in the squad, a group of six stood before him while Armin the titans engineer explained over the different titans. 

Of course, in Levi eyes they stood before the very best titan to ever be born. His gorgeous lady, the titan known as "Angel",  they wanted "Wings of Freedom" since it was a name that both him and his co-pilot chose even when they disliked each other at first. But apparently the name was too long and they came up with angel since always could fly high with their ungodly wings. It had long legs and long arms, it's body slim and flexible. It was painted mostly blood red with the hands and feet painted as black. A black and white symbol painted across the chest, it was the symbol that presented Wings of Freedom, showing that the two of them will save humanity even it cost their own humanity. The hands and feet were armoured more, they could punch and kick like they were just in a street fight against the kaiju. Their main chose of weapons was the white katana swords perched on Angel back, one for each hand as they fought as one and never lost before. 

This was one of Levi pride and joys in his life, he knew that his co-pilot felt the same over their gorgeous lady. She was seen as their child in their eyes, sure they fought kaiju within her but it was still their daughter. 

"Oh, should I be jealous!" A cold but angle like voice filled the air in a teasing manner making Levi smirk knowing his co-pilot had came to join the fun. 

"I think everyone knows that no one could ever top you" Levi answered with his own playful smirk, turning to his second pride and joy in his life. His co-pilot, Mikasa Ackerman who he once disliked when they first partnered up, even as they drifted together perfectly and fought as one. They didn't always get along until they finally understood the other, feeling each other as a life source and never wanting anyone else but them in their life. 

"Hmm, I think you might be the only one who can top me" Mikasa grinned back as she came to a stop beside him, feeling his arm loop around her waste like it was second nature to them both. 

"Don't I know it" Levi proudly answered without any same, pulling his partner a little closer and swirling her before him. Wrapping his other arm around her waste as her hands settled on his shoulders, their eyes meeting as they just smirked to each other. They really couldn't believe they once hated their partner because now they won't want to ever live without them. 

"Guys, please, we're in public and people are in ear reach. It's as embarrassed as having my grandpa flirt with the old lady who owned the flower shop" Armin whined beside them, stamping his foot on the ground as he held his arms in front of him, his hands in fists why he stared at them upset. 

"Nah, this partner of my is much more beautiful and rather on the sexy side for sure" Levi commented with a flirty smirk, eyeing his partner up much more and giving an approving nod. 

"Not looking so bad yourself, partner" Mikasa shot back with a seductive grin, leaning their foreheads together. 

"Don't make me cry to the commander" Armin threatened as he pointed a warning finger at them. 

"Tsk, you really are a cry-baby sometimes, Armin. You know that right?" Levi sighed, leaning his head back and turning towards the blonde boy.

"Oh, I know but if crying to our commander get's you two to behave before others .. I'll take away every bit of dignity to do it" Armin grinned proudly, placing his hands on his hips as he knew he held the better power right now. 

"Acting embarrassed when your parents flirt only proves you're our adopted son" Mikasa joked, rolling her eyes playfully as she stepped back. Both she and Levi removing their hands from one another and just standing side by side now. 

"I think we all know that you two didn't have a chose in taking me in as your son, I latched onto Mikasa and wouldn't let go. Levi just an added parent after all this time" Armin smugly shot back, no shame over his words or embarrassment to be seen in his eyes. 

"I can still hang you out of the hanger" Levi warned, he's done it to past trainees who bugged him. He just grabbed a wire, wrapped it around their ankle or waste and left them hanging over the side until the engineers came on shift and pulled them back up. 

"Mikasa would scold you" Armin smiled confidently, Levi glancing to Mikasa who had to nod in agreement over Armin comeback making Levi frown. 

"Well, Partner want to make friendly with the new pilots we've accepted into the base to work the new titans. Eyebrows forced me to tag along with Armin in giving them the titans hanger tour" Levi mumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest, turning his head to look at Mikasa who looked over the new group.

"I think you can handle these lot just fine without me, after all you survived being stuck with me this long" Mikasa joked back as she looked back to Levi who chuckled. 

"Yeah but an kaiju is easier to handle than you" Levi argued back as Mikasa let a small laugh escape her lips. 

"Stop it! We're meant to be giving a tour, we've just done Angel and be moving on to the rest. Showing what team will go to what one. Will you be joining us Mikasa or will you please leave and let us do our job ... without distracting Levi again" Armin huffed back as he stared at Mikasa in a grumps, Mikasa holding her hands out in surrender but seeming unbothered.

"I'll leave, I booked the training room for me and Levi to bond anymore. Can't let the hour be wasted" Mikasa replied without missing a beat, lowing her hands to her side.

"I don't understand how a one on one fight with each other can count as bonding?" Armin muttered under his breath like a defeated parent trying to deal with his troublesome children.

"Eyebrows approved it as bonding and anyway, it keeps us alive inside the base and out. Fighting is what we're best at" Levi shot back, defending his and Mikasa way of bonding. 

"Well, I better go bond with Jean. He has been wanting to be alone with me for awhile now. Getting all hot and sweaty sounds like the best way. Me + Him, No camera in a locked room .. hmm, sound fun" Mikasa muttered as she held her hands behind her back, acting rather innocently why she glanced to the side and feeling Levi anger, jealously and disagreement over her words. 

"Don't you fucking dare" Levi snarled, falling for the bait.

"Bye Armin, enjoy telling the newbies all the facts you can over your titans work. I'll see you later Levi .. ah, I might be busy with Jean so maybe not" Mikasa started to say with a friendly tone as she started to walk away, waving over her shoulder before using a playful tone as she looked over her shoulder to Levi who glared bloody murder.

"That little shit" Levi hissed under his breath, she knew he couldn't just chase after her without breaking the commanders orders. He would be stuck in this four mood for the next hour before he could run off and hunt her down.

Mikasa was clearly loving this. 

"Armin, whoever is going to co-piloting Jean will need a new co-pilot by tonight" Levi warned and Armin just giggled.

"Oh Levi, she got you good this time" Armin smiled, sometimes he enjoyed his troublesome parents.
