A/N: I thought I'd try to do some Pride theme oneshot due to it being pride month. It won't be overly detailed since the main couple is straight and I'm sorry if I get anything wrong. 

I'd like to add that I was brought up to see the person by how they saw themselves in their hearts. To only judge a person by their rude or bad behaviour. To treat a person with kindess and respect. So, why I don't hang a flag out of my window, I love you all and I'm so proud over you all.

Gay, lesbian, Bi, Pan, Straight, Ace, Demi-sexual, None-binary and trans and more. You are all beautiful, inside and out and I see you no different from myself. We're all human and we all die human. To me, that's all that matters. 

The only time I'll ever turn to hateful towards a person is if they steal my last pizza slice. If that happens, it's all out war ; )

Now, I apologize if none of you wished to hear any of that or don't agree with that view point. I just felt like I should say my part since I've never really commented or done anything for pride before. Apparently writing same sex fanfics for other shows, don't mean I stand a  be a supporter or a friend. But I believe that everyone should stand as the person that their heart desires most and I'll always see the person that they deem/chose to be.

You know how a dog can love so many people at once. Some people can feel the same towards genders and people. This is known as pansexuality. 

You know how cat's chose who they love and decide who can love them back. Sticking with those few. Humans can be the same between just two genders. This is known as being Bi. 

How some frogs can shift gender to have their own babies without a partner. Some people are born as one gender but grows to feel as another. This is known as being trans. 

You know how those hamsters our neighbour owned were in love but stood as the same gender. Some people feel just as they do, only able to love the same sex. They can be known as gay or lesbian. 

A bird is known to fly from it's nest and fly alone until it's ready for mating season to appear but not all birds will find a mate or share a nest. Some people don't feel the need for the sexual side of life or don't like it. They prefer to stay in their nest alone, without wanting a mate. They're known as asexual.

Worms stand genderless to the bare eyes. People can be the same. They don't wish to place a title on themselves. They're known as nonbinary. 

This was how my mother had taught me over the birds and bees while trying to cover every form of love and personality in life. Hoping to teach me all the different types of people in the world and how to live peacefully among them. 

My mother did well, she meant well and she was a kind hearted soul. 

She saw the best in everyone and I respected her for that. 

But I didn't need her teaching's so early on because I grew as seeing my friends as my friends, nothing more or nothing less. 

I did experiment in my teen years. 

I kissed a boy, and I did not enjoy it. 

I tried to check everyone out but never felt my heart skip for any of them. 

I did have needs and wants, never acting on them until I was ready and my partner was willing. 

Never felt empty inside or felt wrong whenever I looked in the mirror. 

I knew I was a classic straight guy time I turned sixteen. 

In truth, I learnt that I was simply Mikasa-Sexual time I was eighteen. 

I only desired her.

I wanted to only be kissed, hug, cherished and loved by her. 

I only wanted to be the person she'd hold in her heart forever. 

I wanted to be known as her boyfriend and one day, her husband. 

It's why nothing caught my eye whenever we went to the pride parade with our rowdy friend's and formed family. None of the stalls sold bandages of Mikasa's face, none sold flags giving their loyalty towards her and none face painted her breath taking eyes or name onto skin for the day. 

If he had to chose his inner pride spirt, it'd all be loving and admiring Mikasa. 

He wanted to be better for her. 

To grow into someone she'd be proud off for the rest of their lives. 

To be her comfort and safe place, her home. 

But he still had fun at pride. Never going overboard in dressing up for it, merely having a specially made couples top that held his face over Mikasa's back and her face over his back. 

Mikasa was the one to all out. Rainbow bracelets to show her support for Armin and Eren. Christa. Wearing a black, grey, white, and purple bag of life for Marco and Annie. Pink, purple and blue painted nails for Jean, Reiner and Erwin. Pink, yellow and blue styled shoes for Bertholdt and Moblit. Trans flag painted on one cheek for Hanji and Mike.  Polyamory flap painted over her other cheek for Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie's poly relationship. The lesbian flag on the back of her hand for Ymir and Christa. None-binary flag painted on her right arm for Moblit. 

And lastly, the straight flag over the back of her free hand for the two of them. 

Making everyone in the family represent at once while the couples all focused on their own personal titles or flags. Decorating to respect them as a couple or person. 

Reiner and Annie happily wearing clothing to represent their poly relationship and sexuality. Leaving Bertholt who was more shy and less advertising just wore a pan flag as a cape. 

Ymir and Ymir all face painted up and wearing lesbian colours flower crowns. Being sappy and open in public over their relationship together. 

Jean wearing rubber bands on his arms and a bi flag slipped into his belt hoops and acting as a belt for him. Marco wearing an ace top and holding his boyfriend's hand none stop. Jean wearing an ace pin to support his boyfriend too. 

Erwin carrying a Bi's bag while Mike wore the trans flag as a scarf. Both boyfriend's being less openly sappy as they were never overly romantic people. 

Hanji going all out in trans and pan's colours. Flower crowns, clothing, bags, pins, bracelets and flags tied to her body.  Leaving Moblit to wear a small none-binary pin as he wasn't much for pride, never good with crowed places. But here to support his girlfriend and show how proud he was over her. 

Eren wearing a gay flag as a cape and having his cheeks painted in the same colours. Armin just wearing a gay top and carrying a string bag with the colours patterned over it. Both friends single this pride parade and going out to support one another and hopefully gain a few numbers to try out later. 

They all stayed together for the most part, racing off for different foot stands or to see some street event as they passed it by. Meeting new people and helping to point out who was with who and who was single and ready. 

Swapping numbers and saving each other from those not easily accepting rejection. Cheering and clapping for those that seem shy or clearly here for the first time. 

Buying more stuff than they can afford and argue over who had space to keep what and where they'd put everything they've bought. As well as how they're going to get some things to their different homes. 

It was fun but tiring as always for him. 

He wasn't overly social and he didn't do people. 

But he wanted to be there for his friends, for his family. 

He wanted to show how proud he was over them and his girlfriend. 

Cheering Mikasa on as she fills with all colours and covers her body in more rubber bands, pins and face paint added to her arms to add more flags as the day passes. 

And, as she stood there mixed among the large and busy crowd. 

He knew she was his everything that his heart desired most.

A/N: This was terrible. I'm not proud over this at all. It sucks, I know it does. I wanted to try my best and I failed awfully. My deepest apologizes. But I am no coward and didn't want to just hide this away by deleting it. 

I've tried my best to make pride work for Rivamika and well, at least I've tried my best. That must count for something.
