"why am i stop with this brat" Levi asked slightly annoyed as he looked to the little girl once known as Mikasa Ackermen before Hanji spilled something over her making her become the little girl everyone see now. 

"well it seems after Armin was able to make a dress that would fit the now mikasa size she ran off and" Erwin started to say as everyone in the room turned to see Mikasa hugging his leg while standing beside him.

"clung to my leg" Levi finished the sentence and Erwin nodded.

"i be in my lab trying to work out what spilling over mikasa or well what chemicals mixed together before crashing over mikasa but i dont know how long it will take" Hanji mumbled with a weak smile and Levi looked to the small Mikasa still hugging his Leg finding her to be already looking at him. 

"why cant Jaeger or Arlert look after her, they are her childhood friends right" Levi asked as he turned to jean, Armin and Eren who stood at the side of the room. 

"well it seems mikasa went back to age before she met us, she trusted Armin since he seems weak even to a child mikasa but to me it seems she wasn't sure of me and might be a little scared" Eren frowned and took a step forward making mikasa hide behind Levi holding his leg tighter.

"and well i was able to get her in that dress made out of an old shirt but when i tried walking her over to the office she ran off not trusting me too look after her" Armin mumbled with worry.

"She ran from me after Eren failed attempt. I keep finding her so cute and small land well I'm not a creep in her eyes" Jean frowned and Levi nodded understanding Mikasa way of thinking. 

"please Levi, just look after her until i find a way to turn her back" Hanji begged and Levi rolled his eyes. 

"fine but if she gets on my nerves then I'm passing her off" Levi replied and her childhood friends smiled.

"your off duty while looking after mikasa, please take care of her" Erwin smiled and Levi turned to Mikasa who pop her head out from behind him. 

"seems like you be helping me clean this filthy base" Levi sighed and Mikasa just blinked before letting go of his hand and holding her hand out. 

"what" Levi asked unsure. 

"i think she wants you to hold her hand, she is a lost child in the base captain" Armin smiled kindly and Levi looked at mikasa hand. 

"she clean captain" Jean sighed.

"she a child" Levi replied and Jean shrugged. 

"Levi" Erwin frowned.

"I'm not holding your hand, just walk beside me and you wont get lost" Levi replied and mikasa gave a small cute nod. 

"please take care of her well captain" Eren smiled and Levi glared before walking out of the commander office with mikasa beside him.

"so, are you going to talk or not" Levi asked as he moped he floors watching her wipe the bottom half of the windows since that all she could reach. 

"w-where is my dad" Mikasa asked making Levi tense, he read the file knowing her parents and adopted parents were long dead. 

"at work" Levi lied. 

"but dad doesn't leave the woods around our cabin, this isn't my home" Mikasa frowned as she looked out the partly cleaned windows.

"he wanted us to look after you since he would be going into the woods a little deeper then normal" Levi replied as he kept mopping and mikasa turned to him like she was going to say more but turned back to the windows wiping another set but only the bottom half.

"do you miss your dad" Levi asked and the small girl tensed.

"dad will be back before dinner and he give me a huge hug to make up for him not being home most of the day. I just need to wait and do my studies like a good girl" Mikasa smiled sweetly shocking Levi slightly.

"well you dont need to do any studying today, just help me with cleaning" Levi sighed and mikasa nodded.

"Levi" mikasa whispered in her small soft voice making Levi freeze and slowly turn to her. 

"w-what did you j-just say" Levi asked in shock.

"Levi, its a nice name" Mikasa smiled brightly and went back to cleaning while Levi just stood there for awhile.

"eep" Mikasa yelp as the bed covers pushed her to the ground, she tried helping Levi put them on the line but they just covered her before becoming heavy over her head making her trip and fall.

"Mikasa" Levi called with worry and ran over to see the covers covered in dirt with a small girl shape under. 

"sorry" Mikasa mumbled and crawled out.

"we just clean them again, why dont you carry them back and wash them and leave the pinning up to me" Levi replied in a soft voice and Mikasa nodded with a small smile before running over to the soapy water wooden wash bucket. 

As Levi pinned the last of the covers up he turned around to find Mikasa carrying the ones she just re-washed. She had a bright smile as she tried her best to carry the small basket with the wet covers inside. Levi couldn't help but smile at the sight off her small legs barley standing but not giving in as they took one step at a time. 

"tada" Mikasa cheered with her hands in the air after placing the basket down. 

"good job" Levi smiled gently shocking the small girl and she froze as Levi ruffle her hair making her smile grow even more. 

"can i help with anything else" Mikasa asked excited and held her hands behind her back as she leaned forwards.

"well we got some dusting to do next but i was thinking of having as tea break since we done most of the chores already" Levi replied and notice Mikasa frown slightly.

"c-can i have tea with you" Mikasa asked a little nervous. 

"sure, you didnt think i would just drink without my cleaning partner" Levi smirked and Mikasa giggled before running closer to him as he pinned the last cover up.

"lead the way Levi" Mikasa smiled softly and held her hand out without thinking but her smiled brighten as Levi took her small hand in his.

"I take you to the best place to drink a cup of tea, are you ready mikasa" Levi smiled softly and Mikasa nodded with a grin as they walked. 

"should we tell mikasa about today when she turns back" Armin asked with a small smile as he watched Levi and little mikasa walk past in the cleaning get up holding hands. Mikasa smiling brightly as she randomly talk to Levi about anything while he holds his emotionless face.

"do you want to die" Eren replied with worry.

"yeah, mikasa and Levi would kill us if we mention today and what we just saw" Jean sighed before the three started walking towards training once again.

"scared of the dark" Levi asked as he notice the small mikasa keep staring at the dinner room doorway seeing how it was pitch black outside. 

"no, i just dont like what comes with the darkness" Mikasa replied and went back to eating her food while Levi just looked at her before turning to Erwin after hearing him cough.

"About tonight, we need to find a place for mikasa to sleep since she cant sleep in the shared dorms and well her normal single room is well is not allowed since she cant know about her future self" Erwin mumbled making sure mikasa couldn't hear. 

"so where is she going to sleep" Levi asked glancing to mikasa who was turning back to looking outside tensing up. 

"well your room, she trust you and you have a double bed. Just share your bed since she cant walk around along if she needs the bathroom and well she seems to trust you" Hanji replied with a small smile and Levi went into shock slightly before turning as he felt mikasa grab part of his shirt.

"what wrong" Levi asked as he turned to a scared mikasa.

"i got a bad feeling, i feel like someone out there just waiting for me" Mikasa whispered close to tears and Levi looked to the doorway not sensing anyone or seeing anyone.

"want to stay in my room, i make sure no one comes after you" Levi slightly smiled and placed his hand on mikasa head before she quickly hugged him.

"thank you" Pidge replied as she dug her head into his side. 

"no worries" Levi sighed and turned to Hanji and Erwin who were smirking.

"seems like our problem is solved" Erwin grinned and went back eating.

"wow Levi, your such a hero" Hanji smirked and went back to eating while Levi rolled his eyes and just stroked mikasa hair.
