Levi gives a heavy sigh as he stands leaning against a wall, his cavalry carbine resting against his shoulder while his eyes dark from one passing person to the next. In truth, the gun wasn't truly his but belonged to his manic of an uncle.
They were both hunters, Kenny being a well known one who hunts the most dangerous and biggest prey known. While Levi, he was simply dragged along and preferred to only hunt for food. He didn't enjoy wasting a life, it wasn't his joy in life and he'd prefer used his crossbow over a guy. He aimed better with his crossbow and could promise better mercy kills than what his uncle gun could.
But right now, Levi had returned to the Inn after his morning walk to find his uncle room empty apart from his gun. Instead, he found his uncle bag gone along with his crossbow.
Levi wasn't impressed, it wasn't the first time his uncle had ditched him without warning somewhere but he was unpleased over his crossbow being stolen as well. So, he stood leaning against the pub wall, trying to spot anyone and everyone who seemed like his uncle. He knew his uncle enjoyed his drink, before, during and after hunting a beast down.
But as the third hour came along, Levi knew his uncle was long gone.
Ignoring the group of ladies that were swooning over him to the left, staring at him with lust and giggling whenever his glance headed in their direction.
He was leaving this small village and if he was unlucky, his uncle would suddenly appear again in the future acting like he didn't leave him behind. Levi just hoped his crossbow would still be left unharmed and usable for him to take back.
Frowning as he returned to the inn, packing up his small handful of belongings that fitted in a small sack bag that he flung over his shoulder before heading back down. He was stopped by the inn keeper, an extra bill being held out to him.
He simply raised an questionable eyebrow, knowing that both his uncle and himself paid for their rooms when they arrived. They had to pay beforehand and he wouldn't have been given a room key if he didn't pay.
Seemed his uncle had messed up the room during his drunken states for the past couple days they've stayed in the inn. Leaving him to pay the extra bill before he was able to leave.
Finally leaving and strolling around at first, buying some freshly baked bread and shoving it in his bag before filling up his water pouch. Not sure where he was heading next and wanted at least enough supplies to survive going through the woods.
He was a fast walker for the most part but he knew when to take it slow and steady. He was in no rush and the woods was rather dangerous even before night comes alone. The whole village had warned him and his uncle over to never enter the woods once it became dark due to it being too dangerous for anybody to walk through.
Levi wasn't a fool, he knew wild wolves were deadly on their own turf at night but he also know tripping over a root or falling into a ditch was just as dangerous. Getting lost or trapped somewhere in those woods would make you forever lost.
He wasn't keen on heading through the woods but he didn't fancy turning back and heading in the direction he arrived from. He never went back, only forward.
He'd rather face the future than the past.
