She stayed silent, the only movements her body moved was as she breathed. No breeze passing and everything was overcame with darkness.
She felt sick.
It wasn't the smell of human waste that made her sick,
It wasn't the smell of human blood staining the walls and ground around her,
It wasn't even the smell of despair and fear that almost chocked her.
It was the location that made her feel sick.
She stood in the underground, a place for prostitutes and criminals, where innocent people will be kidnapped and dragged down where no hope to be saved from anyone as their fates were sealed by nothing more than money. Money that would be used up within days, weeks at most before they find someone else and steal away their future for more money.
A cost of a person life, their freedom and their spirit .. it was cheap.
Men, Women and even Children .. none was safe from the cruelness of the underground but those stolen from the surface only faced hated by those in the underground. No one would save someone who was stolen, they would only glare and decide the person deserved such a coming fate just before being born on the surface.
No one would save a person born on the surface not once they were in the underground and that was a known fact.
Not even a child would be saved, instead others would praise for the child to be given extreme punishment, to not simply give them death like adults .. to make them live such an awful life that death nothing more but a blessing even in a child eyes.
But the underground lived by their own rules, they looked out for themselves. Their packs were their life and if someone messed with a member, it was a full on bloodbath without a second thought.
She couldn't help but find that amusing, they would cry for their love ones, fight for their friends and feel despair for their own children born below .. they acted as wild animals, as beasts and yet the monsters in their eyes were those from the surface and they held no honour in slaughtering anyone from the surface, in raping and selling a person from the surface.
Her eyes fell to the bodies around her, feeling nothing but disgust as they lived in their own shit and still had the nerve to act superior against her.
She turned her head, looking to the young girl, looking at her deformed body by those who laid dead in the room. Shoving in small cages, chained and tied up, cut and slashed away until almost all flesh was no where to be seen. The child sky blue eyes only holding pain, well, eye not eyes, the left eye was burned and yanked out .. left on the ground. The girl once long bright blonde hair cut and ripped out, huddled up to be sold for extra cash. She seemed no more than seven years old and already been raped by more man than she's ever would meet.
Stepping forward, she held the little girl gaze as she pierced her sword through the child throat.
There was no saving her, it was only cruel to let her live with all she faced.
Her life would forever more be a living nightmare if they helped her to live, death was the only peace she could ever have now.
"Ackerman"
Her grip tightened before she turned around, her blades still dripping in blood as she walked towards the door. Her cape fluttering up a little from her fast steps, her hood hiding her face as always but even if the hood was removed, she had nothing for any to see.
Her eyes glancing towards her commander, his back turned to her and he stood defenceless without any fear of someone slashing him down where he stood. It would be easy, to sneak up on a clueless surface man like him and cut him down but he had something that the underground didn't.
He had her, the Survey corps loyal Raven.
She was no lion or lioness, she didn't hunt in a pack and she didn't work with one.
She was solo, only bringing death wherever she went and became so close to death that it was nothing more than a friend in her eyes.
She was feared by all who knew her and all who saw her, she was the goddess of death to some and to others ...
She was death.
She stayed silent, flicking her wrists as blood splatted of her blades before she looked around to wipe the blood away .. old blood stains was always a pain to get out of the odm gear comes morning.
She stepped passed her commander and not giving him a single glance as she walked towards the man that was kneeled on the ground, a fellow soldier hand on his shoulder keeping him down and stopping him from running.
She listened to his whimpers, feeling his body shake in fear as she wiped her blades on his back and arms. He may have made a terrible friend to those he just betrayed and got killed but he made a good cleaning rag at least in her eyes.
The soldier keeping him down just looked to her unimpressed while she slipped her blades back into her fear, keeping her handles hooked to them instead of releasing the two blades and hooking the handles to her belt like she should.
"He lied to me, did he not" Her commander spoke making her turn towards him, glancing to the shaking man who sold the criminals out she just killed.
She gave a slight nod, walking back to her commander, she wasn't his friend nor his family. She was just his weapon she allowed him to use, she won't follow any order she didn't wish to follow and that's how they worked so well. He knew that she was in charge between them and they held a respect for one another.
He also gave her the freedom she deserved, he never once trapped her and in return she stayed loyal to him.
"I asked for you to take me to the most wanted criminal and you sell out your group of friends instead. It's a shame really, I knew the underground wasn't much for brains but it was a simple order for you to follow. We don't have any real needs for a pig that can do no more than wet himself as he begs for his own survival, I have soldiers like that already facing titans. But, since you did give Ackerman a chance to clean up some of this filth in the underground, I'm willing to give you a second chance" The commander spoke, his voice loud, powerful and clear but he acted as calm as an old man sitting on his porch. He knew the power he held and he feared no one taking it from him, he was on the winning side and he liked to make other's know that as well.
The man shook more, nodding his head in understand and trying his best to not let his sobs out as he looked to the commander. The soldier behind him stepping back, keeping his arms by his side for now as he pitied the useless man. His eyes falling to the man rousers as a freshly peed stain sat and knew there was no point in wasting any energy in acting like the guy would be able to run for it.
The poor man was fully under the control over the commander, fear keeping him in place and won't let him move a single muscle. He was going to die by their hands or by someone passing, after all ... this was a huge betrayal to all in the underground. Along with rivalry against other criminals in this place, the scumbags that Ackerman just cleaned up meant one less business for rivalry criminals to worry over.
It was truly disgusting over how these rats lived and yet, they acted as if they were gods themselves.
"Well? Where is the most dangerous and most wanted criminal of the underground? Where would we find him?" The commander asked, his voice serious and his eyes warning yet a hint of joy held them as he wished for news over the criminal they hunted.
"H-He r-rules all of the underground, he's too dangerous for all who searches or uses him. He'll accept any job as long as he wants it, he'll kill any who demands for him. Y-You'll be killed for just speaking over him" The man nervously spoke, his eyes filling with fear and horror to show that they should fear the guy they're searching for instead of looking for him.
"I see, that's great to hear. I really do look forward to meeting a man who'll take my life. Now, where can I expect to pass my life to him, I do hope he doesn't disappoint" The commander replied, an almost mad man grin on his looks as his eyes shined in promise.
"Word has it he's not working tonight, it's why most of us are doing as we like since he won't be close by. We won't have to worry over getting in his way and paying with our lives" The man shakily answered and the commander just nodded, getting rather excited over the news.
"Mike, if you will" The commander ordered to the soldier that once hand his hand on the man shoulder.
Mike simply nod, keeping his hood up as he stepped forward, joining his gear handle to his sword and locking it in place before sliding the man throat as he tired begging for his life. Mike looked to the blood on his sword, sniffing before giving a slight gag over the stench of such a revolting human being. Using the still kneeling body he kept in place as a rag to wipe away the blood before stepping back and letting the limp body fall.
He glanced to Ackerman who watched as he placed his sword back in, unclipping it from his handle and placing the remove handle back on his belt. Rolling his eyes as he knew she stood smug over him doing the same thing she did with the man.
He made a great cleaning rag for them, did he not.
"Ackerman, it's time for you to go hunt down our little mouse in this pile of rats" The commander spoke, lifting his cape over his head as he knew she simply nodded before using her gear and vanishing away without any sound.
She reminded most of being a ninja or a top skilled assassin, in a sense she was both and the odm gears wire was the only sound she ever truly made when working.
"Sir, should we really leave her to hunt alone in such a god forsaken place. She may get carried away" Mike spoke, it was rare for him to actually speak words but when he did, you knew something was important or bugging him.
"Mike, please, we agreed you could call me as Erwin, we are friends are we not" Commander Erwin calmly spoke as he started walking, planning to return to an area he knew would be clear and empty for when their Raven pet returned with her catch.
"Sorry but I'm serious Erwin. This place is a hunting ground she'll love to drain dry. There's a difference between killing titans and humans, but not to her. Are you sure over letting her hunt alone, she may go solo over your orders once more" Mike spoke, concern in his eyes as the raven had flew off on her own many times in the past. Sure, she completes her given orders but's gone further in the past, she's done inhumanly acts making most think she was Satan herself when they see her actions in person. This place was a breeding place for nothing but the plague, Mike himself would leave it to die like the rest of the surface people have but Mikasa would personally burn it down by her own hands.
"She'll return with our prey, she will only kill those who dare stand in her way and that's what I allow her to do. But remember Mike, she is not held by chains but by loyalty and I keep it that way. She knows what lines to not pass and she doesn't pass them, so do not fear her for stepping on some lines. Because to her, she has no personal lines but she's gained some from learning by us. More importantly, she hates the underground more than anyone else ever could .. she won't stay here any longer than needed" Erwin answered calmly, believing every word he spoke and trusting Ackerman with not just his life but with all of the Survey corps as well. The only time he'll ever truly fear her is when he breaks her trust because that will be the day all of humanity falls to her.
"Did you at least tell her over this man, he's like her is he not. A god of war, the keeper of death and a man that none could ever control" Mike sighed, not enjoying Ackerman wrath later if she doesn't get along with the guy they're capturing.
"I thought I'll leave that to her to find out" Erwin smirked slyly, he wanted to see the battle towards the two but knew he would only be at risking by both their hands if he stood close enough to watch.
With Ackerman..
She stood outside his house, for a skilled man he was easy to tack down. His fear made all stay away from his camp, his home, the place he lays asleep resting and none would stand close in fear of waking such a beast. But thanks to him scaring everyone but her, the air around his home was the dead give away she needed.
A normal person would run just by the air, it was heavy, thick and would choke any normal person. But to her, it was nothing but a boring tease, it was begging for her to step into his personal and poke the sleeping beast.
She wouldn't lie, she was getting excited and couldn't wait to start the chase.
Push to her limits as he tries to take her own life, letting her full strength and skill out towards him as they fought for a single victor.
Of course, she had orders over bringing him alive but that didn't mean she couldn't get a little rough with him.
To shed a little bit of his blood, maybe even lose a little bit of her own blood as he tries to kill her .. oh such a thought was making her itch for the fight more.
She walked up the steps, glancing to the window and seeing two already inside, sitting on a sofa. A male and a female but neither was her prey, they were nothing but sheep the wolf took in as his own.
"So, he's a wolf that won't share his sheep .. a fateful flaw" She thought to herself, lifting her hand and knocking on the front door.
She may be a killer, a no good human being who did nothing more than to take away lives of both humans and titans. But even she had manners and she'll offer the friendly warning before letting the real fun start.
Hearing three voices inside making her smirk, he really was a fool for thinking that no one else would dare come for him.
She waited a single minute, no one answered.
"Rather rude" She thought with a frown, she was trying to show mercy towards his sheep but here he was wasting that option.
Her hands sliding to her handles and pulling out her swords before she stepped back, lifting her foot and kicking the door down without a second thought. Watching as the door landed with a bang on the ground before she stepped inside, standing on it without a single care for damaging their home.
She glanced to the three who stood shock, someone actually came for them.
Someone broke past all their airs and invisible warnings, someone got inside their home .. they clearly never thought this day would come.
It was a little cute in her eyes, she loved the horrified or shock faces of those who thing they're untouchable. Breaking down that wall and standing right before them as they thought it was impossible.
Rolling her eyes as all three shared a nod before rushing off in different directions. Her prey out of the window she glanced in earlier, the other two running into other rooms before leaping out of the windows and running.
She wanted a fight yet they run, his disappointing.
Placing her swords back before walking out of the doorway, slowly stepping down the stairs without any rush or need to hurry. Her prey was waiting for her by the alley, clearly he decided to act as bait to buy his sheep some time in escaping.
But she followed, he was the reason she was getting paid after all and she held no care over the other two. If they tried ambushing her than she'll just kill them before grabbing her prey and taking him back to the commander.
She chases after him, surprising him with her speed and agility as she slides round corners and leap over anything he knows down. She stays right on his tail, almost close enough to feel his unease and rushed thinking of how to deal with him.
Clearly, his ordinal plan wasn't working as he wanted and something had him a little fearful but not of us ... he was leading her into a trap.
She might just meet his precious sheep once more.
She slowed down, pretending she was tied and the gear was becoming to heavy for all her movements action. A hidden smirk on her lips as he sprinted even faster, gaining as much distance as he could between them why she had slowed down.
Using her gear to hop onto the roofs above, steadily jumping from roof to roof as she watched him twist and turn all over the alley paths, always making it seem like a maze but he always lead back towards one direction. No matter how much he turned turning and throw her off with all the corners and turns, he was still leading towards one place.
So, she decided to meet him there instead.
And she was right, his sheep was waiting anxiously for him and ready to jump her once he passed.
Sliding down, her gear rattling and causing fear to boil up in the two before her. She didn't even try reaching for swords and decided to knock them out as quickly as she could. Barely making a single sound herself and only earns pained groans or grunts as she punched the two hard enough.
Collecting them in her arms before using her gear and flying off, dropping them in the meet up point with her commander before returning to her daring prey. She held a small lock of hair from both his sheep, laying it down close to where he should be running out from and she had the perfect spot to watch the horror fill his eyes as he saw the locks of hair.
She stepped out, her hood hiding her expression and she wondered if her cold face was showing the amusement she felt.
She must have been smirking like a crazy person as he pulled out a simple kitchen knife from his pocket and got into a fighting stance.
She thought she'll have an almost honest fight, only lifting one blade up and knowing that he could fully take her even with his kitchen knife. He held skills, the look in his eyes told her so and for being able to rule the underground without much effect, he clearly held a strength that no one else could match.
This was going to be a bless fight.
"I'll warn you now, fighting me with not be in your best interest but in truth, you've stepped over a line by harming my friends. I won't let you see another day" He spoke, his voice cold, low and god damn sexy.
She was sure that he wouldn't ever need to pay for a whore with a face like his and such a voice, they'll be paying him for a round at night.
Sure, he was on the short side but clearly there was nothing weak about him. He held muscle under his tight shirt that clung to him, her eyes darting down and taking in his frim chest and he truly did have abs already. His arms small but could clearly crush a person in them if he wasn't careful and his shoulders rather bold. His thighs a little thick while his legs were thin.
Deep cold and piercing silverfish eyes that glared stabbers into a person very soul. Breath taking ghostly white skin that only made his pink lips seem like the tastiest meal left on earth. Soft midnight black hair cut like curtains and yet it only added to his hidden charms, making any want to risk their life by running their hands trough it.
He was the meaning of perfection, even for a shorty.
She wasn't one for sexual interest or any forms of love but she had to admit herself, he was one hell of a catch for any man or women that got a taste of him, to feel him against them in any form of pleasure.
But her thoughts was stopped as he leaped towards her, his knife in hand and she couldn't help the smile on her lips.
A fight she's always been longing for, a person who'll she'll allow to take her life if needed. This man was the death of her and it was thrilling.
He could fight, better than her but he than again he was older, he's been fighting long before she has and gathered even skills to carry into his next life.
Yet, she held her own and carried on the fight without any issues.
Her eyes watching his every moment and she couldn't help but feel proud when his eyes held the same thrill as her. He was loving the fight as much as she was, even if he did decide to take her life by the end of the their fight.
She heard a whistle in the distance, a frown on her lips as she let the distraction be his chance to pin her and he did. Straddling her stomach as he held his knife to her throat, a shine in his eyes.
"I won't just kill you like this, I think I might just want to break you" He admitted, sliding the knife up as his other hand moved to her cape.
She stayed silent as he pushed the hood down better, taking in the sights of her. His lips parting as he stared and his knife hovered under her right eye. His threatening act vanishing as she just stared into her eyes.
She heard another whistle, this time he was snapping out of his daze but it was too late.
Her fist was already meeting with his stomach as she sat up within the blink of an eye.
He was out cold and a drabble of blood dribbled from the deep slash under her right eye from his knife. Her quick movement and force was the reason the knife dug in but she didn't mind.
At least she was able to have a bit of fun for once.

I'll do a Part 2..
