A week after I moved out I decided I would make up with Cal. He agreed that we should be friends and we were soon talking like friends again. It was January now, and we actually had some snow, but most of it was sludge now- bit like most of my friendships.

I sat in most days, just filming videos and stuff, making sure I had a good few weeks planned ahead. I hated living alone, but living a few floors up were the other boys- Ethan, Tobi, Cal, Callux, Harry and Chip.

I liked my apartment, it was a two bed, so if I wanted a guest I could have one, and the apartment had massive windows so I could over look London.

I finish filming my latest video, saving the audio and the video and I get up and head into my living room. I pull my phone out my joggers pocket and see a message from JJ asking if I wanted to hang out later tonight.

To JJ:

Sure thing Jide💖

From JJ:

Awesome, can't wait to see you💓

I smile, I liked JJ's company, and he promised he would beat up anyone else who hurt me which was extremely sweet of him.

I head to my room, changing into some nicer clothes. I pull my hair into a high ponytail and I text JJ back.

To JJ:

Where are we going? X

From JJ:

I was thinking we could go to Nandos?

To JJ:

Ofc😂💖

I check my outfit again- it was good enough for Nandos.

From JJ:

I'm gonna drive over x

To JJ:

Alright Jide 💕

I grab my keys and head out my apartment. I go into the elevator and head down to the parking lot underneath the building.

After about 25 minutes I hear the rumble of the Lamborghini at the end of the car park.

He drives down and I wave to him, he drives me way and I grin, opening the door and climbing into the seat.

"Ready?" He asks and I nod.

"The Lambo's a bit much though," I laugh and he smiles.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine," He says, I had never been in the Lambo before and honestly hearing the engine roaring through the car park didn't help.

He pulls off and I gulp, hands gripping the end of my sleeves anxiously.

"Just relax, enjoy the ride," He laughs and I give him a small smile.

"As long as you don't drive like Deji," I say and he laughs even louder.

"I'm not that much of an idiot," He says, pulling out of the car park.

He drives at a nice speed, heading for Nandos.

We arrive and it brings back many memories, we'd eaten here many a time.

I follow behind JJ and I stop in my tracks when I see that all our friends are in here- Josh, Vik, Tobi, Harry, Ethan, Cal, Callux, Chip, Manny, Joe Sugg, Caspar Lee, all my 7 aside team and finally my eyes settle on someone I never wanted to see again- Simon Minter.

I look at JJ and back to the people in the room.

"Whats this about?" I ask and he smiles.

"Well, we didn't celebrate your birthday, because you were away, so we decided to organise something for you," He says and I smile.

"Thank you so much," I smile, hugging JJ.

Everyone gives me hug but Simon, who I ignore purposefully. Everyone has stacked presents up on one of the tables. I open some of them, finding clothes and cool little gadgets for my new apartment. Josh had gotten me a coffee machine which I had wanted for ages and JJ had brought a brand new camera which was way too expensive. Harry buys me swegway, even though you can't use them on the street anymore, Vik buys me a pair of football boots I wanted for ages and Tobi gives me a polaroid camera and I make sure I use it a lot at the little party, and Ethan buys me a watch I had showed him ages ago and I tell him he should never have spent so much.

Eventually I get to a small little box wrapped in blue paper.

I tear through the paper and I find a small box. I open the box and my eyes widen at the sight of a white gold ring.

"Who got me this? Theres no label, and I have to thank them," I say, turning round.

"Its a promise ring," Simon says and my head turns to look at him, "I got it you,"

I look down at the box and breathe in deeply.

I take the ring out the box and see a small engraving on the inside of the ring.

The missing piece to my puzzle

I look up at Simon and place the ring back into the box.

"Thank you, its very beautiful," I say, everyone was silent and Simon nods.

I place the box back on the table and continue to open gifts.

My hand reaches up to the chain round my neck- the Christmas gift Simon had gotten me- I still wore it. I pick up the small locket and open it up, finding two black and white photos of us inside. I immediately close it, shutting my eyes, attempting to push back the memories.

I look at Josh who gives me a soft smile.

"Didn't realise you and Simon were into promise rings?" Josh laughs and I laugh toi.

"I'm pretty sure thats not what it really means," I say and Josh laughs.

Eventually the food gets brought out and I spend some times with my girl friends, and also Joe and Caspar as I haven't seen them for months.

Eventually when we're all finished we load up Josh's car with the gifts, myself taking Simon's gift. I go with Josh back to my apartment after saying bye to everyone.

The other boys who live in the tower come back as well, they help us get everything up to my apartment and I hug them all again before they all leave.

I tell Josh I'll see him very soon and then I start setting up my stuff- my coffee machine and camera and I place my new football boots on the rack with the others. I put on my new watch from Ethan and I decide to ride my swegway around the apartment. Eventually I sit down, looking at the collection of polaroid photos I took. I pull out the little box that contains Simon's gift. I open it up and take out the ring. I decide to wear it on my right hand ring finger so fans don't start thinking I'm engaged. I read the engraving again, my eyes welling with tears.
