I've never really thought about how much friendship means to me.

Friends are the family you choose and family is everything. I would do anything for my family.

I would do anything for Ellie. She is my sister. My chosen soul sister.

There comes a point in your life where you have to make a difficult decision for the greater good, and here I am, making a big one that will hopefully allow me to move on.

Colby Brock, we can't be together.

"So, what do you wanna do now? Think you're feeling fine to hang with everyone else? We got an hour and a half left!" Ellie exclaims, her hand intertwined with mine and her arm around my shoulder. We're walking back slowly to the group as the park is empty.

"I think we should head back, yeah? I'll be fine, plus Sam's probably forgotten all about me," I reply.

"Kay, sounds good! I wanna go see my boyfriend, we just made up-ish," She smiles cheekily.

"What even happened between you two?" I ask.

"I got super drunk last night, I also may have slept with a random dude... but I was so wasted! Colby got real pissed off and I felt terrible because I don't remember a single thing... He even said some stuff that was pretty rude and shocking, stuff about you too..." She says.

My face begins to heat up, "W-what about me?"

"He said something like, 'wish you and Ashlyn were just the same person so I could only worry about one of you' and 'Ashlyn isn't as idiotic as you', but I have no idea what's that 'only worry about one of you' suppose to mean... that got me pretty upset back at him. Girl, I love you but I'm extremely jealous by your success, so it did annoy me when he compared me kinda, to you," She laughs to make it less awkward.

I freeze, "Oh Colby... that... fuck up," I say as angrily as I can for her when in reality I don't know how to feel because it means something that he would talk about me. "If he can't see how great of a person you are, then you tell him you deserve better."

"Well I didn't have to when you and Brennen forced us onto that ferries wheel! He came out and apologized and it was so sweet! God, I like him a whole lot. We kissed and talked after the ride by the dock, but that was it. It was nice, but after the ride, he didn't touch me at all,"She drifts her words, "It was so peculiar, it seemed like we were only... friends?"

"Wow, that's... really good nevertheless, El," I half smile. That little scene she just enacted was romantic, for I wish that my heart didn't burn when I hear things like that, about Colby.

"Yeah, but now I'm just worried that I'm in love with him," She mumbles.

My eyes widen, "El, in love? Already? Y-you guys haven't even been dating for that long... and why would you worry? He's also my enemy girl... be fucking careful."

"I know, and I worry because maybe I'm just in love with the idea of him," She contemplates, "He hasn't even had sex with me!"

"Girl, don't sell yourself out!" I exclaim, surprised.

"Well duh, but if he loved me too, wouldn't he have sex with me?" She reasons.

And she is right. He would if he loved her.

I wish he did because my life would be so much simpler, honestly.

But no, I'm not encouraging Colby to hook up with my best friend.

I don't want another incident. Please, I have had enough. 

"That's true," I agree.

"Well, I'm done thinking about that, let's just hurry and get to the rest of the group. Poor Amanda is the only girl alone. Doubt she minds, but we kinda abandoned her for a while," She says.

"Right, let's hurry."

We quickly run through the park, searching for our friends. We stumble upon them as they're mini-golfing, terribly.

"Amanda don't aim for my balls!" Someone shouts, now realizing it is Colby as the whole group comes into view.

Ellie and I start giggling as we near.

"Heyyy, where were you girlieees?" Corey says like a girl.

"Just off being girls!" Ellie squeals with the forced enthusiasm. Smooth Ellie, because nobody else asked for where we really were.

"Ash, Ellie, thank god you two are finally here. I was with these weirdos for like two hours!" Amanda exclaims, dropping her golf club and running to hug us.

We open our arms to greet her.

"We only came back for you," I laugh, over her shoulder. However, I quickly see Sam and Colby both looking at me.

Colby with a look of 'why would you say that' and Sam with a look of 'you should've just left us' and I felt trashy again. See, this is why I'm slowly losing my mind with these guys. They make me experience life's friends that I hate to meet.

Fear, drama, pain, embarrassment, etc.

We pull apart and the group then carries on with the fun and TFIL video.

Time to do the final rides and then we're going to head home, er back to the beach house.

"Okay guys, it's six a.m. in the morning and it's time to say bye to the Amusement park," Elton says, pointing his camera sadly at us.

"Awh, I love this amusement park!" Ellie screams.

"I'm glad we're leaving, I am tired as hell and want a bed real bad!" Corey exclaims, pretending to rush to the entrance.

"Right behind you, dude!" Colby laughs, following him.

"Well they're gone, let's go guys," Sam chuckles to Elton.

"Colby! I'm tired!" Ellie shouts at Colby who is waiting by the entrance building now with Corey.

"What?" Colby shouts from the distance.

"I said I'm tired! Carry me!" She screeches, holding her arms up.

Amanda makes Elton point the camera between Colby and Ellie.

"Elton are you getting this, ten bucks Colby drops her," She snickers.

"You're on," Elton laughs, focusing the camera on Ellie.

"Hey, what, this is normal," Ellie deadpans.

"El, run and jump to me," Colby shouts with his arms out wide.

Ellie puts on a big smile, runs up and jumps into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.

I wish that was me.

"HA! You owe me 10," Elton points at Amanda.

"Dammit, I thought I was gonna win for once!" Amanda pouts.

"Why do people love to bet on their relationship?" I say, not realizing I thought it out loud.

"Ooo is someone jealous?" Elton gawks.

"It's not jealousy, it's curiosity!" I half laugh, trying to play it cool. "I mean, I wish I had a relationship for someone to bet on..." I fake sulk, walking away. I hear Elton and Amanda laugh as that was a solid bit for Elton's video.

I just hope they don't suspect anything from me. I know Elton was joking but it really got me riled that he accused me of jealousy.
But yeah, I was jealous.

Elton says, "Kay you guys ready to go? Didn't forget anything or lose anymore boards in the water for Colby to get?"

"You ass, I didn't have to go into that water if it weren't for you, hiding the fact the board was in your hand!" Colby accuses by pointing his finger at him, with Ellie still wrapped around his waist.

"Babe, while you're yelling at Elty, don't go and drop me," Ellie giggles.

"Don't worry, I gotchu boo," He chuckles.

And my heart shattered a little more.

"Thanks for watching, if this gets fifty-thousand likes, we'll stay overnight at another place of your choice! Anything else to add guys?" Elton says to us.

"Like and subscribe!" Some of us say.

"Don't be dumb, ask for permission kids," Corey nods.

"Okay, bye guys," Elton ends it. Later, we all begin to joke around as we near the entrance of the beach house.

"Guys, I'm pooped," I groan, slamming onto the couch after Ellie opened the door.

"Same," Corey agrees, slumping into the seat next to me, "Goodnight ya'll."

"You mean... good morning," Colby corrects.

"We've been up all night, I think we should call it a night too," Sam says, walking up the stairs, "I'm gonna shower to wake myself up anyway."

"I need like five red bulls if we're leaving today," Elton nonchalantly says, walking into the kitchen.

"Oh my god, you guys are making the drive back today?" Amanda says, surprised. "I think you all are going to fucking die."

"Yo, I ain't driving tonight," Corey gasps, "Devyn's got the most sleep, we'll make her drive."

"Hell yeah, thank god we let Devyn, Brennen and Nik leave, they're sound asleep but they'll be the ones who drive," Elton chuckles from the kitchen counter.

"Guys, Nik can't reach the brake of a car, let alone the wheel. What makes Nik capable in driving in general," Colby jokes.

"True,... ugh, so that means one of us has to drive the last car!" I cry with annoyance.

"HA, not me because Devyn's my girlfwend," Corey brags.

"And Amanda and I are riding with Corey so," Elton adds.

"That leaves Brennen to drive Ashlyn's or Sam's car..." Colby concludes.

It goes silent for a second and Colby and I slowly gaze at each other...

"I CALL BRENNEN!" We both shout at the same time.

"No! Brennen is my best friend!" Colby argues.

"But Brennen hit on me! So, he liiikes me," I playfully tease.

Colby's face goes dead, no emotion. Just straight up annoyance and anger. I might've gone too far, he doesn't know I want to move on from him yet.

"That just means that, you, me, Sam, and Ellie are up to drive the last car...," Colby contemplates.

I raise an eyebrow, "So, how we going to settle this?"

"I. Don't. Know," Colby shrugs.

I roll my eyes, "Exactly, stupid."

"Yeah, I'm going to bed now, night," Ellie deadpans, resting her head on the dinner table.

"You mean, morning," Colby corrects, going to sit down on the other side of me.

"Shut up, Brock. Just let us say good fucking night for fucks sake," I hiss, smacking his chest with my arm.

"Ow, I'm being bullied!" He snickers.

"Fuck off," I reply.

"Babe, is Ash bullying you again?" Ellie giggles, coming over to sit on Colby's lap.

I close my eyes and lean my head back on the cushion of the couch.

"And you're surprised, how?" I utter lowly.

"Nah, just pointing out the norm," Ellie grins, kissing Colby's cheek.

"Okay, I'm going to bed now," I shutter, walking up the stairs to the bedrooms.

"Morning!" Colby calls out obnoxiously.

I hold up my middle finger, "FUCK YOU."

I collapse on the bed in the master bedroom. Corey and Devyn were suppose to sleep here, but I didn't see Devyn in this bed so I figured, whatever, I'll sleep here. I'm too tired to move now. As I lay my arms in the fluffiness of the white comforter, I slowly find myself drifting to sleep.

Then suddenly, I needed to pee.

I groan, tossing myself off of the comfiness of the mattress and dragging my feet towards the bathroom door.

The master bedroom has it's own, so the convenience was perfect.

As I open the door, I rub my eyes.

Though when I opened them, I immediately shut them, the door, and begin to immediately crawl back into bed.

I mumble a low 'nooo' into the pillow I was face first in.

I just saw Sam, wearing nothing but a towel.

He even looked back at me.

I want to scream.

"Ashlyn..." He calls.

"What..." I call back.

"I'm going to run out now... don't peek."

"Wasn't planning to," I sigh.

I hear the creek of the door and running of footsteps across the bedroom floor. Once I heard the footsteps disappearing, I flip myself up to my back and stare into the ceiling.

Ugh, I'm so glad he had that towel.

The worst that could've happen is if he was naked.

Then, Sam pops back up into the doorway.

"Ugh, Sam, what now?" I grumble, throwing my hands to cover my eyes.

"Uh, where's my clothes?" He says, awkwardly.

I look at him funny, "What do you mean, 'where's my clothes', do I look like your mother? How the fuck am I suppose to know."

"My stuff,... it isn't there!" He exasperates.

"NEITHER IS YOUR TOWEL!" Someone shouts, ripping off Sam's towel to reveal nothing but his junk.

"NO! OH MY GOD!" I scream, pulling the covers of the bed over my head.

The worst happened, I just saw Sam naked.

"WHAT THE FUCK, BRENNEN!" Sam screams, looking frantically to cover himself up.

Then, I feel the bed squeak and my weight get shifted to one side. I feel the covers tug to one side and it was naked Sam getting into the bed with me.

"GET OUT OF THE BED, OH MY GOD," I say pulling my head out so I wouldn't see his body under the covers.

Sam lifts the comforters to be below his chin.

"Well I'm sorry Brennen took my clothes!" He shouts.

"Brennen!" I scream.

Brennen runs in with his camera, which happened to be filming everything.

"YO! THIS SOME GOOD CLICKBAIT! 'Catching them in bed' (He was naked!)" He laughs.

I groan, "Hell no, give me your fucking camera!" I jump out the bed and run to Brennen. He runs off, still vlogging.

"Guys! I'm on the run!" He laughs. He turns around and says, "It's just a prank, it's just a prank bro."

I stop chasing and put my hands on my hips, "Oh it's just a prank, oh a prank... great because that just makes the situation so much better!"

He chuckles, "I mean, it just turned into your prank, I didn't mean to actually get you involved."

"Fun, because you fucking suck," I sarcastically laugh.

"Hey, I still love you, it's all chill," Brennen records, putting his arm around my neck.

Then Colby comes up the stairs, "W-what's going on?"

"Just pranking Sam," Brennen grins, his arm still around me. I didn't mind, I just put my arm around his waist anyway.

"How? I also heard someone yell something about clickbait," Colby half laughs, looking at the two of us with an unsteady expression.

"Go into the master bedroom," I say.

Colby looks at Brennen and I funny, shakes his head and slowly creeps into the master bedroom.

He peers in, once he saw who's in there, he begins to chuckle and runs toward the bed. Brennen decides to record it, so he takes his arm off me.

"Dude, Sam? You good there?" Colby chuckles.

"Ugh, do you know where my clothes are?" Sam groans.

"Nope," Colby replies, popping the p.

"Gah, where are they, Brennen?" Sam shouts.

"Don't know, Nik has them somewhere," Brennen laughs.

"Ugh, I feel like a girl, don't judge me right now," Sam says.

I ask, "What are you going to d-"

Sam abruptly stands up and uses the blanket as a dress to walk out. The three of us laugh as Sam exits, looking like a bride on her wedding day.

We follow him down the stairs where Nik is holding his suitcase.

"Yo, homie... what are you wearing?" Nik laughs at Sam.

Corey, Devyn, Elton and Amanda were now here, looking at the embarrassment of Sam.

"A comforter, now give me back my stuff!" Sam argues, pointing at his luggage.

"Take it, man, just don't wear that shit again, coming down here looking like fucking gardevoir," Nik jokes.

"The pokemon?" Colby laughs.

"Yeah!" Nik chuckles.

"Screw you guys," Sam grins, walking back up the stairs to change.

"Well that was some good footage," Brennen grins, recording us all for a last second and closing his camcorder.

"So what time should we plan on leaving?" Amanda asks.

"It takes like four hours to get back," Elton adds, drinking a red bull.

"Maybe after lunch, so like, three-thirty, four-ish?" I say.

"Devyn, you good with driving for that long?" Corey asks to his girlfriend.

"I mean, not four hours straight please. I'll drive for the majority but I need some breaks," She says shyly.

"Okay, we can switch. I'll drive part of it," Corey says.

"Yo, if I'm also driving a car, there's no way in hell am I driving it all too," Brennen argues.

"Oh dude, who's car do you wanna drive?" Colby asks, "Sam's, which is wear I'm sitting , who is, your best friend," He smiles sweetly, "Or this trash bag's?" He says with disgust, pointing at me.

I slap him upside the head, "You should drive the person who is nice and doesn't call people trashbags-'s car. Me!" I say to Brennen.

"Hmm, don't know... I mean, one of you will be driving for the other half because I need my rest too bitches," He contemplates, stroking his scruff. Which was kinda redundant...

"I'll sit passenger Brennen,... and it'll only be me and you in my car..." I say with a little seductiveness.

"Yo, what the fuck, Ash!" Colby exclaims.

Ellie looks over at me and then raises her eyebrows at Colby.

"Babe, why do you care?" Ellie asks Colby.

"El, she's using her lady moves to woo Brennen, totally unfair because I don't have any hot girl power to use to my advantage!" He reasons.

Did he just call me hot... in front of Ellie.

I blush, "So, you taking up my offer, B?"

"Hell yeah, sorry Colby," Brennen laughs. "Dude, who in the right mind would pass up an opportunity like that?"

"I love this, can someone make popcorn?" Elton laughs with Amanda.

"True, I should've vlogged this," Nik adds.

I roll my eyes, "I'm still tired, let's all go take a nap or something before we get brunch."

"Agreed," Corey chimes in.

"If anyone needs me, I'll be passed out on the master bedroom bed," Colby says, walking up the stairs.

"I'm coming too," Ellie giggles, taking his hand.

"Me three!" Brennen runs up between the both of them and swings his arms around their shoulders.

"BRENNEN!" They push him back and continue to walk up the stairs.

"Let's conclude Brennen ruins everything," Nik says, as defeated Brennen comes to sit next to him.

"Oh yeah, I definitely agree to that," Sam says, coming down to crash beside Corey. "What I miss?"

"Nothing," We all laugh.

"Yeah, I definitely missed something," Sam chuckles.

"Oh, you're driving one of the cars," I say.

"Ugh, why me?" Sam grumbles.

"Because you weren't here, so now you drive," I laugh.

"That's some bs."

I giggle, "Ya it is, just do it."

He rolls his eyes and everyone goes onto their own business.

Sam comes to sit next to me. I didn't expect it, I thought everything would be awkward between us and well, it is.

"Hey, when do you plan to tell Ellie?" He asks.

"I have to talk to Colby..." I reply in a whisper.

"Kay, just remember one week because I'm done reminding you," He murmurs. "Also, I'm sorry it has to be like this."

It doesn't have to be like this. When I don't like him anymore, it wouldn't matter right?

I just want this to be done with, and I'll say it a million times so life and it's friends can back off. They know I hate Colby.

Because I like him.

When life throws that curve ball, you know it's game over.

But if I can actually try and swing it, then maybe I can finally win.

And that's the plan.

I hate you Colby Brock.

So much that I like you.

I hate liking my rival.

No real story today but like, I went to an amusement park with two of my guy friends and when we got there, there was a group of guys like 6 that I knew who saw me with my guy friends and asked where my boyfriend was. It ticked me off because my bf doesnt have a season pass to the park and I didnt think he'd wanna pay 45 bucks for one day. SO I FELT REAL BAD BC I DIDNT TELL HIM UGH. struggles. i hope i can hang with him soon:( BUT AYE IT WAS FUN WITH THOSE GUYS (even tho i was the only girl) *single tear* whateverrrr life goes on<3
