My first story and I wanna know your opinions!

"Dammit!" You shouted as you kept failing to hit the target. "Why can't I do this right??"

You glance at the boy next to you, shooting arrows with ease straight into the bullseye.

"That's how it's done y/n!" He laughed mockingly. "Sh..sh..Shutup!! How do you do this so well when I can't!! Ugh!" You groaned at him.

"Want me to show you?" He asked. There was no way you were letting him. Shouma Kano had been your arch enemy since before you could remember. Accepting his help would be like accepting defeat to this forever long feud and that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

"No way! I'll figure it out by myself thank you very much!" You finally said sternly.

"Suit yourself" he shrugged and went back to shooting. After failing again and again you gave in.

You started watching your rival as he shoots, dare you say it, perfectly. You watched how his body moved and how he held the bow with his muscular arms in a strong defined position before drawing the arrow back in a perfect straight line and then releasing with amazing accuracy.

Before you realised, you're eyes were completely fixed on him and you were blushing slightly.

"Hey y/n snap out of it! It's time to head back!" You finally went out of your daze and gathered your things into your bag. You'd been so busy staring you'd forgotten the time and didn't get a chance to try shooting again.

"That sure was fun!" Shouma said as you guys were walking back.

"Easy for you to say." You pouted avoiding eye contact with him.

"Hey y/n?" You looked his way. "You were staring at me for quite a while back there. Was something wrong?"

Your face suddenly burnt up and you were becoming as red as a tomato. You didn't realise he knew you were staring!

"Uh no...nothing was the matter!...I was just daydreaming and accidentally looking your way! It was a total coincidence I swear!" You stuttered.

Your face was on fire.

"Oh..." He said, sounding disappointed.
"What's wrong" you said trying to get him to face your way again by poking his shoulder.

"I knew it was probably going to be a coincidence, but was it wrong to think maybe you were just looking at me for once?" He said, running his fingers through his hair, a light blush creeping on his cheeks.

Your e/c eyes widened and suddenly you were blushing again. It was true you had a crush on Shouma since you were young but you always thought he hated you so you never dared to say anything and kept your feelings to yourself.

"Why would you want me to look at you?" You said bluntly, only realising after a while exactly what you just said.

"Are you serious? Why else?" You nodded and stared into his eyes waiting for a direct answer.

"Obviously because I like you y/n! Since we were kids to be exact. I've always thought that you hated me so when I saw you staring today I felt happy even if it was just a coincidence!"

He was almost as red as you now but just as embarrassed. He was about to run off when you grabbed his hand.

"What if I told you it wasn't an accident?" His eyes widened and almost glowed with happiness as he pulled you into a hug.

It was confirmed. Both your's and his feelings were mutual.
