Crossdresser ~ Story 6 ~ Part 3
A/N: Final part everyone!
"Why on earth am I in a dress?!" I screamed. Oh yeah, now I remember, I was forced into it because a model was a no-show for my client's shoot. The whole day had been hectic and now the very thing I refused to do, I was being forced to.
After my face had been applied with makeup they took me to the set. Akira was wearing a frilly yellow summer dress with blue three-quarter length leggings and white sandals. She wore extensions and makeup so it was impossible to know his real identity, but since I knew I couldn't look at him the same way everyone else did.
The shoot went smoothly altogether, besides my couple *cough* (several) *cough* stumbles and messing ups. Everyone gathered around the photos as they chose which ones to use and which ones not to.
"Wow!" Everyone gasped at a photo. I peeked over someone's shoulder to get a closer look. I was stunned. "Is that really me?" I breathed. There was no way that girl standing beside Akira was me.
I went off to get changed and was greeted by my client. "See I told you, you could be a model!" He mocked. "Shut up. The makeup did the work." I said. His face showed his disappointment and his annoyance but I didn't care.
"Why don't you think you can be a model?" He asked. Hello, personal information much?! I decided to tell him anyway so he would stop bugging me.
"I tried out to be a model once before, but was eliminated within the first round because of sabotage and the fact that the judges were blackmailed. Even though I was aware it wasn't my fault I couldn't help feeling that everything would of happened regardless of the blackmail. It hurt the worst, however, when my best friends and family told me I was ugly and an embarrassment to them. So does that answer your question?!" I sighed, disheartened by the memory, a slight severe tone in my voice.
He sat next to me. "It's okay," he murmured. I laughed a little. "I'm not sad! I got over it long ago." "Then why won't you try again?" Silence. I turned my head to look at him.
"Akira?"
"Yeah?"
"Shut up." He looked upset by my sudden outburst but I just laughed.
"You know, manager soon my contract will be over and I'll go back to being a regular kid."
"Please tell me you'll go out in public as a boy!" I whined. He went hysterical. "As if!" He panted. I kicked him in the stomach. "You will!" I glared menacingly.
"Fine!" He sighed. "But who's going to take my place at the studio?" He was right! In a couple of months he'd be leaving the studios and I hadn't found a replacement yet! What kind of manager am I? "That's something for another day," I said and walked off.
The next day I entered the studio and was greeted by a crowd of people all murmuring with delight. "You're a big hit manager! It's amazing!" What on earth were they rambling on about. Akira crept behind me and suddenly began talking, scaring the living daylight a out of me. "Your surprise debut. Everyone loved the new model in the magazine and were complimenting her ten times more than me, hmph!" He pouted. I laughed in disbelief but they didn't join me.....wait this is all true?!
After a while I'd processes things and accepted the fact that people actually thought I wasn't ugly. I began to deepen into thought wondering how maybe I was wrong these few years, until I was pulled by the arm by Akira. "Now will you be a model?!" He asked, aggravated. I shrugged and replied "maybe." Surely enough as time went by I was made to take different roles and partnered with Akira a lot because people wanted to see more of the new model who had taken everyone's breath away (ha! That's hilarious) and eventually I became a regular model.
Time passed, though it only seemed like days, it was months and the dreaded day arrived quicker than I wanted.
"Ok! That's a wrap!" The director said and began walking off set. We'd just finished shooting Akira's last commercial before he left the idol world for good. His 2 year contract was over and he'd be returning to his regular life. I walked down the park outside the studios with him, recalling some of our most fondest memories, I was struggling not to cry, after all, even though I blackmailed him, he was still a close......friend? I don't really know but whatever he was to me, I didn't want him to go.
"Hey manager?" I looked at him. "It's your last day, you can call me by my name you know?" I said faking a smile. "Nah manager's fine." I just shrugged.
"What is it?" I asked continuing the conversation. "I've found my replacement model." My eyes beamed and I put my hands on his shoulders facing him, genuinely smiling. "Really? Who?!" He smirked. "You." I frowned. "Ugh no." It was his turn to frown. "Your my replacement whether you like it or not! I've signed you on a contract already so you have no choice!" My mouth was agape.
"Why me." I stuttered.
"I don't want anyone else to take my place in the industry besides my best friend! And also, then I can still see you all the time, even if it's not in person," I could feel the tears start and I couldn't stop them. I began crying my eyes out and surprisingly Akira joined too. "I'll miss you!" I sobbed, hugging my dear (now definite) friend.
After a while we wiped our eyes and started laughing at how stupid we looked, to lighten the mood. Akira began smiling and said, "Let's make a promise!" I raised an eyebrow. "Let's promise that we won't ever forget eachother and will meet again another day! You, as a famous model and me, as an honest male!" I laughed at his last statement but shook his hand, sealing the deal, and with that, he walked off away from the studio and all of us. I did the opposite, making my way to fill in the gap he'd created.
Time passed and we both worked towards our goals, me as a model, and I'm not sure what Akira was doing. But no matter what, we wouldn't ever forget our promise that would soon be fulfilled.
A/N: I am finally dun dun doooone!! (Sorry I had to lol) hope you liked. I'll be back soon with another story, now, time to get some sleep!
