After Bio, Cal left and went to Math after finding a basketball friend, and Julia and Thea headed to their Floral Culture class.

"So what happened?" Julia whispered excitedly, leaning in closer to Thea to give the uncomfortable effect. Well, to make it even more uncomfortable for Thea.

"Um..." Thea sighed, hugging her backpack straps as they walked. She smiled sheepishly and snickered. "Ollie is-"

"Oh its Ollie, is it?" Julia laughed, elbowing her friend softly.

"Really?" Thea groaned, turning to Juls as they pushed past a group of freshmen huddled next to the lockers.

"Sorry." Julia laughed again, only slightly excited that her best friend might not like her brother. "Continue."

"Oliver and his Dad came into the store on Saturday morning-" Theas parents owned a cute little diner on Center Street- "and he saw me and asked if I went to Kingston. I said yes, and he asked if I would kinda be a friend, ya know?"

Julia was very tempted to say 'oh, i know,' like a creepo trying to get her friend a date, but went with and understanding, "yea, course."

"So he asked me to show him around but i had to work, but i told him that basketball practice was going on so he could go look around. Then he left with his Dad. He gave me his number and I texted him Saturday night. He's really nice." Thea finished, shrugging and looking over to Julia.

Julia was smiling like a weirdo as she bounced her eyebrows. "Oooooooooooo Theeaaa-"

"Stop!" Thea laughed, shoving Julia teasingly. "You know I hate the eyebrow thing!"

Julia mirrored her friends laugh as they walked through the doors to the Floral Culture class and sat down in their seats, Thea on the very front row and Julia right behind her and to the left.

The class was boring. The teacher droned on and on about color and size variation, and the next upcoming project; design a corsage for the Sweethearts dance which was in three weeks. The class he three weeks to experiment and practice, do research and maybe find a date.

I mean, not that Julia cared to much about dates and dances but she wanted to go with someone. To be she had no one in mind. Maybe if Cal couldn't get a date, they could go as friends-

The bell rang, cutting off Julias thoughts on the dance as she packed up her things and found Thea waiting outside the door in the steadily filling hallway.

"Bye Thé." Juls waved as she took the stairs, heading up to the math hall. Thea took a left, waving goodbye as she headed to the English hall, Thea basically ruled the English and Literature hall, if anyone was going to get a scholarship in that field it was her.

At the top of the stairs Cal was waiting for Julia, he had just come from Math and was going to the History hall. "Hey Az."

"You still call me that? Every time." Julia sighed, reaching the top of the stairs with a small grin. "I don't use your nickname."

Cal shrugged with a smirk and fell into step with her as they walked down the hall. "I know. But you're cute when you get mad at me." He said sheepishly.

Julia scoffed, completely oblivious to what he had just said, and rolled her eyes. "Oh please Cal I'm never mad at you."

Calum sighed, whether in relief or frustration it wasn't clear. "Bye Juls." He said, turning off the hall to a door that lead to Mr. Carltons room, which always smelled like coffee and cheese.

"Bye Cal." She called back to him, and he waved from the doorway, looking- slightly sad? Or, longing?

'No,' Julia giggled to herself, 'longing was not it. He's still upset about the game.' She scoffed as she walked through her math classroom door. 'Why in the world would Cal be watching me like that?'
