~~Nora's POV~~

I trembled in fear as I watched the earth become further and further away. I turned around and saw the pillars of the earth and thousands of countless souls that were screaming for mercy, something gave me the feeling that they would never receive their wish. As we continued to descend, I looked up at my new father; He had a huge smirk on his face then looked at me. "Welcome to Metnal* of Xibalba*. This is my kingdom and now this is your new home, young princess. Slave!! Come and serve my daughter, the Princess of Metnal!!" My father roared; his voice was loud and thunderous like the mighty thunder claps that Tlaloc* makes whenever it would storm on earth. I stood close to my father as the slave came up to me and bowed, something I wasn't used to at all.

"Slave, go and bring my daughter her royal garbs now." Father said, causing the slave jump up in fear and run off. I looked up at father with a timid smile on my face. "Ah Puch, your daughter is so beautiful. I hope she will come and torment the souls of Metnal with me. I am *Mictlancihuatl but you can call me Lady of Death." Mictlanihuatl said to me as she kindly bows to me. "Ah Puch, you have returned with your daughter I see. She looks like her twin. I am *Mictlantecuhtli but you may call me Mictlan." Mictlantecuhtli said to me and he kindly bowed to me. I was really terrified at first but my father placed a hand on my shoulder to help me relax. After a few seconds, I finally built up the courage to speak. "I am Nora Naciamento. Now the daughter of Ah Puch and the Princess of Metnal!" I said in a thunderous voice like father did earlier. I listened to the echo of my words and I was surprised at how powerful I sounded and at the clarity of the words carried in the echo. I looked up at my father but this time I had a huge smile on my face. Father simply smiled at me, picked me up and gave me a hug; we stayed like that for a while as I could still hear the echo.
