chapter thirteen

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Splinter waited till the morning before speaking with his students due to them being too drunk or possibly High/Fixed to even listen to a damn question or a word of what their Sensei had to say.

7am and the alarm went off in Splinter's bedroom, however, the elderly rat was already up meditating over last nights events. Exiting his room Splinter closed his door silently and turned round to see his students crashed out in the seating area. Raphael and Keya were arm in arm on the couch, Michelangelo was asleep on the floor hugging a half eaten chilli dog, Leonardo was sleeping awkwardly in a chair and Donatello was sleeping on top of the new coffee table with his head hung back over the side.

Splinter scowled at the sight, it was a most disgusting sight for one's master to witness of his students. Heading to the kitchen and coming back out a few seconds later with five cups of cold water on a tray - after he had took the liberty of getting five cups of water before he went to sleep and popped them in the fridge so they will be nice and cold come the time of use - Splinter placed the tray down and took hold of two cups of chilled water and threw the water in the faces of Leonardo and Michelangelo.

The two turtles shot up in shock with a shrilling gasp to the cold water that had jolted their system awake. The sadistic rat then took another two and threw them over Keya and Raphael - effectively, jolting them awake. And finally, he threw the last cup over Donatello. The genius sat up in a flash - gasping for air as he had breathed in when the water hit him (How unfortunate). All five of them were moaning and rubbing their head's as well as wincing to how suddenly bright the seated area looked.

"What'ch do that for, Master Splinter?"

Raphael groaned, wincing his eyes as he continued to rub his head. Splinter glared at the five - instantly hearing there whining and groaning cease. The teen's were looking at their Master's face and each one shuddered secretly as a very bad feel overwhelmed them all inside.

"Have a nice time last night, My students?"

Pleasantly asked and smiled Splinter. The five all groaned while regarding each other and not really sure how to answer that.

"OR CAN'T YOU REMEMBER!"

The elderly rat barked, seeing his students flinch at his raised voice.

"Whoa,"

Leo held his hand up to his Sensei with a plea.

"Please Master, don't shout."

He asked softly while wincing and rubbing his temples. Splinter frowned, narrowing his eyes at his leader son and making his ears go flat against his head.

"What's the matter Leonardo? DOSE MY RAISED VOICE HURT!?!?!"

The group all winced their eyes and groaned in union - agreeing that his raised voice dose hurt and that they wished he'd shut up!

"We're sorry Sensei..."

Whined Mikey, looking really discoloured. Splinter raised his furry eyes brow, alone with his ears,

"SORRY?"

He laughed a soft chuckle.

"... Hahaha ... no, you're not yet Michelangelo, oh but believe me my students, you will be!"

The elderly rat glanced from each teen to the next, seeing the look of horror secretly hidden with in their grimaced twisted up faces of pain.

"Now before we start our punishments,"

He questioned in wonder.

"I want to know exactly what all five of you done last night, I want to know what you drank what you eat and,"

Looking towards Donatello and Leonardo he sneered his next words with a exceptionally firm tone.

"WHAT DRUGS, YOU TOOK!!"

The two turtle brother's tensed a silent hissing gasp feeling no end of shame run through them. Leonardo couldn't even look at his Sensei's angry disappointed eyes any longer, it was so very rare Leo got in trouble with Master Splinter and when he did - oh boy - did Leo's heart hurt.

Donatello rubbed his head, sighing, and not really having a good explanation for their behaviour last night - saying 'some kid gave them to us' wouldn't really work now, would it?.

Splinter started with the one closest to him and cocked his head in question.

"Raphael, what did you do last night?"

The temperamental turtle frowned while trying to remember. He looked to the others for a little help but unfortunately... there faces were just as blank as his.

"Err..."

"THIS IS WHAT YOU WERE DOING LAST NIGHT!"

Interjected Master Splinter as he removed the tray with five empty cups on and held up today's newspaper,

"YOU WERE GETTING DRUNK, HIGH, ACTING LIKE IDIOTS,"

He threw the paper into the centre of the group in anger - showing them that the paper possessed a picture of the team on it and it was on the front page no less.

"YOU WERE PARADING AROUND ON STAGE, AND GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT ELSE!"

He regarded Keya and Raphael upon his last part. Keya looked away feeling slightly dirty. Though she felt there was nothing wrong with her and Raph giving a relationship ago, Splinter's look seemed to have made it seedy and dirty - especially with the way he said it.

Raphael grit his teeth, hard, while sneering at the elder. He was trying his best to remain calm but his hand gripped deathly on a cushion as he kept a straight face - fighting with his tongue not to lash out and say or do something he would definitely regret.

The youngest of the clan broke the awkward silence as he vomited to the side of him - sharply - having everyone's attention straight to him.

"Sorry, Master..."

Mikey cried out, spitting up the bitter acid like vomit while Splinter merely rolled his eyes - angrily - and sighed at his son,

"CLEAN THAT UP!"

He demanded pointing at the ill liquid the youngest before regard ding the older ones.

"Now the rest of you are going to clean this home from top to bottom!"

The group all whined and sighed as Splinter began his orders.

"Leonardo, you will clean the kitchen! Keyanna, you will clean the shower rooms, toilets and bathroom. Raphael, you will clean everyone's bedroom, Donatello, I want your lab and the meditations room spotless. Michelangelo, you will clean this entire seating area from top to bottom,"

The team were silent, but a few nodded - mainly Leo and Donnie. Those two felt shame beyond belief!

"Now, I am going out a few hours,"

Explained the elderly Sensei.

"I have a few things that need doing, when I return I expect to see my face looking back at me from those wall's!"

The elderly rats attention was caught slyly upon hearing the faintest sound of muttering from his temperamental son. Splinter scowled at Raph before allowing a rather sinister smile form on his furry muzzle.

"Oh, and Raphael,"

Gently added Splinter but in his own sarcastic way, only adding more salt to injury for the red clad turtle as he looked to the rat addressing him so.

"I want the topside warehouse tidied out, that means I want any thing like planks of wood or useless bits of metal taking out of there and dropped off at the city dump. You may use the battle shell for transportation and I want all box's of rubbish and any other useless materials got rid of, UNDERSTAND!?!"

As respectfully as he could muster, the temperamental turtle merely lower his head in a slight bow - in which, his Sensei accepted as an answer of understanding.

The group all watched as Master Splinter left the lair as silent as ever before they all quietly regarded each other. With the way the were looking at each other - some would say they were about to start the blame game.

'This is all your fault!'

'No it wasn't its your's!'

But not one actually uttered a word before they all got up and set off to do what they were told. Leo's mind raced in thought of what Master Splinter was going to do later as more punishment for getting into that state.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair, Kitchen...

As the leader, Leonardo was meant to be serious, fearless, loyal and have respect for others as well as himself. He also had to be smart and from the pain in his head and the sickness of his stomach, they sure told him that he was everything but what a good leader should have been last night and much worse!.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair, Seating area...

Michelangelo shifted the love couches and chairs around the wide spread area - picking up any rubbish and binning it before he began mopping the floor. His head was just rerunning back the show they had done and how much the crowd loved them. He smiled to himself and began humming the song's they rocked out to last night, he didn't care. As far as Mikey was concerned they all had a Great time!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair, Toilets/Shower rooms...

Keya had grabbed a bucket and the cleaning materials from Donnie's lab - not looking at anyone and trying to ignore everything around her. She kept to herself and tried holding back the tear's that were screaming to break free. The face of her Sensei when he looked at her and Raphael after saying what he said was lodged in her head, she couldn't shake it out.

Other question's and answer's came to mind about what Master Splinter really thinks of the situation, now that he may of had a an idea. The young pair had not intentionally meant to have fallen asleep in each others arms on the couch last night - but they did, so now, it was time to take another step forward.

Keya knew he had a strong suspicion and was stuck on what to do or say, so worried thoughts of being forced to give up on her relationship with Raphael began clouding her mind and all she wanted to do was run to him and have him hold her like he did last night.

The young woman scrubbed mindlessly at the shower walls - moving from one cubicle to the next - still fighting with her tears not to fall as she worked and thought....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair, Lab...

Donatello slowly, but neatly, placed all his medical tools away in order of importance while rethinking of what happened last night too. His mind flashed an image of a multicolour tube he thought was merely a nightmare and his eyes winced in pain as his head pounded. The young turtle grabbed a bottle of pain killers and took two pills to help ease the pain. Sweeping the lab floor, Donnie looked around at his area that was his world - thinking to himself,

'I'm meant to be the smart turtle, I'm not meant to get drunk and take god only knows what else. I'm meant to be the one taking care of my brothers when they come home in a state I did, yet... they've never come back in a state like that, not even rebel Raph!. Ahh god, the state Leo and I came home in last night was, ahhh... My head'

He moaned and groaned finishing up in the lab, it was a big area but it was mainly tidy do to his organised nature so he didn't spend long in there cleaning.

Donatello headed over to the meditations room - still deep in thought while he cleaned out in there too. Amongst other things, he took away the dead flowers and replacing them with new one that Leo had been growing in an artificial green house Donnie had built for his nature loving leader...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair, Top side warehouse...

Raphael had done a quick run though tidying everyone's bedroom, he was in no mood to be neat and tidy with it all so it was a rush job but he seriously did not care! Michelangelo's was the longest to tidy, but that took him just under half hour.

As he went from room to room, his mind was going into over drive. He tried to keep himself from thinking about what had been said that morning - since he got stressed with in seconds when having unpleasant things to deal with that he couldn't simply give a nice hard pound or two with his fists - so that meant bad news for any object breakable.

Trying really hard to keep his mind off what was said, Raphael headed up to the topside warehouse. He needed to keep himself moving and occupied but the second he went in the elevator and began ascending up, his concentration broke as he could only stand in the elevator with nothing to keep his mind off the unpleasant thoughts.

His head flooded with every thing that had happened last night and then this morning; instantly more adrenaline pumped through his body and his fist's clenched while suddenly having his eyes narrow upon the first object that was unlucky enough to be closest to the elevator doors the second they opened.

The turtle lost it!

He snapped, grabbing an old vase and smashed it off the wall then began snarling and cursing up words in Japanese and American as he smashed up another objects - grabbing the items in pure unconditional anger! He crushed, broke or smashed whatever he could to destroy that object he held before murdering another.

Once he had released his first wave of rage, he stopped and looked around at the damage he had caused. Raphael's breathing was frantic and his hands were shaking, his legs grew weak and he soon found himself dropping to the floor on his knee's - clamming his head stressfully with his hand's and grinding his teeth.

Breathing fast, he felt a little light headed, thought's of losing Keya filled his head and so came the second wave of rage.

"RRAAHHH!...."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair Seating area...

Four hours of the team cleaning, had finally ended for most of them. Michelangelo was slouched on the couch - since he had been done almost an hour now - and he was still grinning happily. Leo and Donnie were the next two to slowly make their way over to a seat of their own in the seating area, groaning as their muscles ached from head to toe. They were tired, and still hung over - though Mikey was scarily cheerful.

"That was some show last night, huh dudes?"

The baby brother reminded and the two elder brothers merely agreed with faint nods and sighs, though it did annoying them a little of how Mikey could always be so cheery! Did he ever feel pain?.

"We really pushed it last night,"

Murmured Leonardo, placing his hand over his eyes and moaning about how stupid they were on the event of Halloween.

"I mean I know I said have fun but if this is what happens after having a bit of fun "Mikey" style, then you can count me out for the next one."

"HEY!"

Mikey grunted, swiftly defending himself, however that shout alone submitted his brothers to wincing in pain while hissing and scrunching up their shoulders.

"Don't try and blame this on me, it was not me who insisted on taking magic pixie dust and gettin totally Fuckin' high as a kite! I tried ta stop you both, remember Leo?!?!"

"He's got a point, Leo."

Faintly agreed Donatello, just about remembering his little brother - who was, at the time, a green and orange smudge - trying to take away his pixie dust.

"I know Mikey,"

The leader turtle mused kindly while rubbed his head - sighing - and in his mind he had actually questioned himself whether or not he just heard his baby brother swear profanities, he sounded awfully Raph like.

"and I'm not blaming you. What I mean is, I think I'll stick to my kind of fun from now on, and stay away from the party's. Last night proved I'm not capable of having fun with out drinking, or worst... getting stoned!"

Leo gagged having to admit that and he felt so dirty.

"Yeah,"

Said Donatello, nodding in agreement yet again.

"and the same goes for me. I mean... how many fights did I get into last night?"

He moaned looking at Leo for the answer. The blue clad turtle was looking at his hands and wiggling his toes as though they were occupying him and that he had completely ignored his little brothers question.

"Leo?"

"I'm counting, but I just don't have enough digits."

The turtle leader shrugged, he was also sincere in what he meant. He seriously did not have enough digits to count how many fights the gentle pacifist had got into last night. Donatello sighed inwardly, softly shaking his head in depression.

"I am never touching drink again! It makes me so aggressive!"

"No Donnie,"

Leonardo waved lazily as he scoffed.

"them pricks deserved it!"

"What happened?"

Interjected Mikey, really keen to know what his gentle brother done last night.

"Nothing Mike's, don't worry,"

Said Leo, sighing as he rolled his eyes at the very thought of what was said to them last night by a gang dressed up as 'The Beetles'

"I just don't think there going to be quick to call another person gay for a while, not after what Donnie did to um."

Mikey's eyes widened slightly as they averted to his moaning pacifist brother.

"Ahh man, what is Sensei going to make us do when he gets back? He is mega pissed! I have a feeling were going to be wishing last night had never happened!"

"I already am,"

Shamefully admitted the blue clad turtle - while rested his hand on the arm of the chair as he leaned back sighing and scowling at the floor.

"HA!... Some great leader I am."

Mikey and Donnie regarded their eldest brother and could see the look of depression threatening to claim him, every time something went wrong and he was around he always blamed himself even if it wasn't his fault!

"Aww, no Leo,"

Mikey spoke in a reassuring tone of voice. They can't have Leo going to depression land over being a rubbish leader, he always goes like this, they swear one day that blue clad ninja is going to drown in depression!

"Ya can't judge one night of stupid fun on years of brave, loyal and a good strong fighting sprite to leadership. It was one night, Bro,"

With a soft shrug Mikey continued his gentle reassuring tone.

"So what if ya got stoned and drunk and made ya self look a fool,"

Leo sniggered, palming his face with one hand.

"Thanks, Mikey...I'm feeling better already."

"No listen Bro!"

Mikey sat up - keeping his sights strongly on Leo and spoke seriously.

"don't go blaming yaself or anyone else for what happened last night. We went out to have fun and fun we had! I can still hear the crowd roaring in the back of my head,"

The young turtle jumped to his feet - posing his arms out as if encouraging the silent cheers and grinning greatly as he done so.

"The cheers, the encouragement, the laughter, the adoration of the beautiful babes in the audience, and atmosphere! God, the atmosphere that was there, it was great Dude!"

Leo slyly looked at Donnie - catching the same expression that Mikey was actually on to something here, maybe he was right? Michelangelo regarded Leo with his hands on his hips and still holding that outgoing aura.

"So what if we have to do some cleaning and possibly a wad load of intense ninja work out later, I don't care, and yer know what bro's? If I could go back to last night and relive it all over again... I wouldn't change a damn thing! It was that great!"

"Wow,"

Donatello looked proudly at Mikey along with Leonardo.

"Mikey, nice speech!"

"Yeah, thanks little Bro."

Agreed Leo, smiling a little more lively now and thinking on all the good things that happened, thinking about how much he enjoyed himself for once and how much they all had a great time for once!

"Ahh,"

Sighed Mikey, plopping himself on the couch.

"I have my moments."

He mused with a wide grin, feel even better than he did a few minutes ago. Keya entered the seating area with a dirty bucket of water, a mop and cleaning materials as well as an expressionless face.

"Hey Keya,"

Mikey shouted as she walked into the kitchen.

"how ya feeling?"

The young woman - still with a bland expression on her face - stepped out from the kitchen and looked to the three turtles offering meek smiles to her from over by the couches.

"Alright, I guess..."

She shrugged, not really up for any conversation. Leo motioned his head for her to sit as he encouraged and hoped for her company.

"How about you come over here and sit with us for five? you know, your partners in crime an all."

He smiled as he suggested that but Keya merely looked to her bedroom then back to the turtles, sighing.

"Sorry guy's, I'm gonna spend a little time on my own in my room if ya don't mind, plus I wanna take a shower and get out of this outfit!"

Donatello showed a half hearted smile as Keya walked to her room, slouched and miserable.

"She's mega depressed."

He said looking back to Leo. The two brothers nodded and shared slight concern when looking back to the her bedroom door.

"Well out of us all, Raphie, had the worst to do."

Added Mikey, thinking on a little more about the previous night.

"Yet, when I come to think of it, it was Raph and Keya that actually got us back last night. He was out of it, but not half as bad as we were, why did Sensei give him the hardest job?"

Leo and Donnie looked to each other to see who should take this one and so Donnie signalled for Leo to explain with a very slight twitch of his head when looking away.

"He got the most jobs because he let his anger get the better of him... AGAIN,"

The leader stressed that word.

"He need's to learn to control his temper, he deserved the extra job because of his disrespectful attitude to Sensei."

Mikey frowned at Leo's answer and wanted to say something on Raphael's behalf, even if he did deserve the extra punishment!

"Well ya don't have ta say it like that, Leo! Raph's always had a bad temper, it don't mean he's a bad guy, it's just the way he is,"

Mikey defended his red clad sibling, having being a little sick of everyone putting Raph down all the time.

"I mean Donnie's the brains of the team, you're the leader, I'm the funny and Raph's the tough guy. He didn't mean to mutter whatever it was under his breath this morning, it just slipped out, he's temperamental I guess."

Michelangelo offered with a soft shrug and sigh, knowing Raph so much more than the other two, but that was only because Raph felt it was comfortable to let his guard down with his baby brother.

"Yes Mikey,"

Donatello sadly admitted.

"we all know he didn't mean to say it, but the fact of the matter is, he did and it was to the wrong person. Sorry Mikey, but I believe if your disrespectful to Splinter, then you deserve what you get but I'm sure every thing will blow over in a few days."

Or so he hoped. Michelangelo pouted slightly - folding his arms and settled back with an inward sigh of 'whatever' to his brother's.

"All we got to do now is wait till Raph's finished his part of the work, Keya come's out of her bedroom and Master Splinter to come home so we can get this day done and over with as soon as."

Offered Donnie. The three brothers sat there quietly for close on 20 minuets - just lost in thought.

"MAN! What a boring day!"

Mikey remarked looking around and sighing restlessly as he looked for something to do.

"Hey, has anyone phoned Casey and April?"

Leo and Donnie shook their heads slowly - still in thought but just about hearing their little brothers question. The orange clad turtle clicked his tongue on the roof of his mouth before he sprung up and headed to the kitchen to call them. It was something that could pass at least ten minutes of his time, so it was something of a good idea.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair, Kitchen...

"Hello?"

Came the gruff raspy grumble of there male human friend. The sound of Casey only had Mikey chuckle slightly at his misfortune.

"HEY, CASEY!"

The turtle cheerfully exclaimed, happily as ever.

"How's it going, dude?"

"Mikey?"

"Err... Yeah, who were ya expecting ... Santa Claus?"

"Oh-Ha.ha.ha..."

Faked laughed Casey.

"So how ya feelin' and how's the rest of yer doin' over there?"

He eventually asked, once he was through with sarcasm.

"Well, I was sick this morning but I'm feeling better now, Leo and Donnie are like the walking dead, Keya's, last I heard, was taking a shower and gonna spend sometime in her room and Raph...well, he's still doing work."

"Work?"

"Yeah, we got mega busted 'cuz of last night, we kinda came home smashed."

Sheepishly admitted the orange clad ninja,

"Ahhh, welcome to my world, beautiful isn't it?"

Sniggered Casey, sighing ever so slight on the other end as he rubbed one temple with his free hand.

"Not really."

Mikey grumbled, remembering the texture of that sick from earlier. It was hot, nothing but liquid, and burnet his throat. It was something he did not particularly want a repeat of any time soon and it has put him off drinking for a while.

"But anyway, how's April and yaself this mornin'?"

"Yeah we're alright, a little hung over but that can be expected, I mean ya don't mix beer with sprite's; it's a very bad mix!"

The human took a brief second to think before he laughed.

"Actually, ya don't mix full stop!"

"Hmm... yeah, not cleaver Case,"

Chuckled Mikey, now eyeing up some pizza just a little out of reach from where he was by the phone.

"Ahh well, I'm gonna go now dude, there's a box of cold pizza on the work top and its calling me!"

"Hahaha... Okay Mike's, take it easy pal."

"Neheha, will do, see ya Casey-boy!"

Mikey hung the phone up with glee and grabbed the pizza at a hasty speed before returning back to the seating area to devourer it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair, Seating area...

He sat by Leo, and not before long, he noticed his leader brother eyeing the pizza - it was in shock that Mikey could have such an appetite at a time like that but the orange clad ninja didn't know that and so, he offered him a piece.

"Want some?"

Leo's face scrunched up at the sight of it in disgust.

"Ahh... No thanks, Mikey."

He shivered slightly, and also come to the decision that he was never actually going to completely understand his baby brother. Donatello watched as Mikey continued munching his way through the cold one day old pizza. His face drew a blank at how Mikey could eat anything right now, yet alone what he was.

The purple clad brother started to feel sick just looking at the stale pizza, and watching his brother eat it right now was making his neck tighten and his jaw began to lock. Suddenly, it just happened. Trying to hold the vomit down, Donatello sprang up and ran as fast as he could to the toilet's - heaving and gagging on the way.

"Donnie,"

Leonardo shouted in concern.

"you okay?"

Hearing no response and just the sound of gagging and liquid hitting water as it echoed out from the opened bathroom door, Leonardo got up and went to see to Donatello. Mikey merely shrugged - completely nonchalant to the situation - and finished off the left over pizza before binning the box in the kitchen.

"NEAHHHH!!!!!!!

Michelangelo screamed his girly like shrill while jolting back - nearly jumping out of his shell - after coming back out of the kitchen to receive the fright of his life! Master Splinter was standing by the kitchen door, admiring his baby son's work.

"Not bad Michelangelo, I see you have worked well, how are the others doing?"

Mikey caught his breath after the scare he just undergone and he puffed several times before managing to find his voice again.

"Sorry Sensei... ya really scared me there... err... the others have, umm,"

He looked around, unsure of what to say.

"Well Leo's done, Donnie's done, Keya's done, and I'm done, as you well know. So the only one left is Raph, and he was last seen going in that direction,"

The young turtle jabbed his finger at the elevator.

"To the topside warehouse, but that was over 3 hours ago."

Splinter frowned in suspicion.

"Has no one been to check how he's doing?"

He asked wearily, suddenly having a bad feeling. Mikey gave that some thought before helplessly allowing an innocent smile to pose upon his muzzle and began giggling slightly as he locked his hands together behind his back.

"Err... No...."

He said sheepishly. Splinter looked to the floor briefly while shaking his head slowly and sighing.

"Well go now,"

He ordered, turning his attention back to Mikey.

"See how he's doing and how much longer he will be, I have a good hard training session lined up for you all."

"Aww..."

Mikey slouched, involuntarily.

"training..."

He whined rolling his eyes in a deep long childish sigh.

"Man, I knew ya were gonna say that!"

Splinter's eyes winced as he scowled at Michelangelo in warning - not to test him further. The orange clad turtle teen got the message quick smart and swiftly left the room to do as his Sensei had asked.

"You okay now, Donnie?"

Splinter heard Leonardo's gentle tone of concern while he and Donatello were walking back into the seating area, not really noticing their father was simply watching them from by the kitchen door.

"Ahh... Yeah,"

Meekly murmured the pacifist, as well as rubbing his plastron over his stomach area.

"I'm a little giddy but I do feel somewhat better."

The elderly rat entered the seat area, following the two teens up.

"Well I hope your not too ill, Donatello,"

He said sounding a little sarcastically.

"I have a rather grand practice session lined up and it would be such a shame should you have to miss it for your, lack of a better word, Hangover!"

Leonardo and Donatello had frozen abruptly upon hearing Splinter's voice and that tone, god how they hated it when the old rat went sarcastic. He was so damn sadistic! Eventually, they looked to their Master, though Leo solely looked at his walking cane - not wanting to make eye contact with his father.

"Hey there Sensei, didn't hear you come in."

Said Donnie, offering a kind hopeful smile that Splinter would go easy on them.

"No Donatello, that is because you were too busy with your head down the toilet to even realise."

Replied Master Splinter, his tone was harsh and it immediately killed Donnie's smile - having it contort to a shameful one. Unfortunately, it was going to take a lot more than a gentle smile this time. Splinter set his sights to Leo and could see he was avoiding his eye contact and so questioned him on it.

"Leonardo... why do you not look at me?"

Leo tensed at his Masters question and remained looking at the cane rather than his father. The old rat had some idea of why his eldest son couldn't look at him but still... he insisted on asking.

"I'm sorry Master, I ..... I can't."

He stammered softly, after swallowing down a lump in his throat. Splinter raised his furry eye ridge as well as gaining a better grip of his cane.

"And why not, Leonardo?"

He asked, only having the leader turtle look away from his cane - knowing his Sensei knew full well why he couldn't look him in the eyes.

"Because I failed, Master,"

Leo spat out, resenting himself for last night but he still continued - fully ashamed of himself and secretly did wish last night never happened despite what Mikey had said. It was great, but he'd take it all back so he didn't have to feel as terrible as he did right now.

"I was stupid and I abused your trust,"

The young turtle looked to his master as he spoke what he believed was the truth.

"I took an item last night that could have led me to disaster, or worse, led my brothers and Keya to disaster."

Donatello picked up on the pain and disappointment in Leo's voice as he listened to his Brother admitting to being wrong to his Sensei, he knew Leo had a mega leader pride and big brother issue when it came to being right - so this was considerably hard for his eldest sibling to admit, but it wasn't something that fell purely on the young leader.... It was a team effort. Looking to the floor and then to Master Splinter, Donatello sighed.

"It was not just Leo's fault,"

He offered, regarded his big brother with a kind smile before looking back to his Sensei.

"I took that stuff too Master, and I know that as leader you must always be on your guard, but Sensei, it was one night,"

The purple clad pleaded, trying to reach his father on the fact it was just a simple teen mistake.

"One night of us being able to walk freely amongst the humans and not have people try to kill us or stick us in a zoo or take us to a lab and cut us open to see what makes us tick!"

Donatello held a slight growl to his tone of voice upon saying how cruel some humans can be.

"It was one night of actually feeling like a normal teenager, surely you can't punish us for that ... can you ... Father?"

Finishing in a overly soft child like tone and giving a gentle smile, Splinter's frown melted with out him really wanting it to. However, he knew what Donatello was feeling and saying, but the thing that got to Splinter the most, the thing that really peeved him off and caused such angering disappointment, was, that they let themselves get too carried away.

After a small intermission, the teacher raised his hand in a gentle manna while letting out a soft sigh.

"What you say Donatello, I do understand, however, what I am angry about most of all my son's, is that you all let your self's get in such a state that not one of you were fit to fight if any danger did occur."

Leo's eyes winced just thinking on the danger of reality. What if any thing did kick off? How would he have been able to protected his brothers or Keya, yet alone himself?.

But thankfully, Splinter could see they were both very sorry, and that it was time to forgive them. After all, they were just teenagers, and what do teenagers really know about health and safety? They had served their punishment and he could see they had learnt their lesson.

"Leonardo. Donatello."

He gently regarded them both, and could see a bit of relief flicker in there eyes hearing such a tone from him once more.

"No one got hurt this time, but next time, you may not be so lucky. Your teenagers and I guess that also gives you the right to mess up on stupid things sometimes but the important thing here is that you have learned from your mistakes."

"WE HAVE, MASTER!"

Leo's eyes jolted wide at Splinter's words and he couldn't help but interrupt.

"we will never do a stupid thing like that again!"

He promised and Donatello nodded quickly in agreement. Their father slowly smiled, having his two son's do the same before running to him and embrace him in a most loving hug.

"We are so Sorry Master, it won't happen again!"

"I believe you my son's, it's okay, I know."

As they broke from their forgiveness hug, Mikey came in from the elevator door looking very worried to say the least.

"Mikey?"

Immediately, Leo questioned in concern.

"Mikey what's wrong?"

Michelangelo looked at his brothers and Sensei - slightly sheepishly - while rubbing the back of his neck in a very awkward fashion. He loved Raph to bits but why did it always have to fall to him to be the bearer of bad news?

"Err.. Master Splinter,"

He whined slightly thinking on just how to put this.

"You know you said yer wanted to know how much more Raph had to do before he's done so we can get down to some training?"

Splinter nodded knowing there was going to be a continuum.

"Well, umm... the places is looking great up there!"

Enthusiastically grinned Mikey, hoping that if he praises up how good a job Raphael done - then perhaps, they won't be so mad.

"It's all really done, nice, neat and tidy up there... even the battle shell has had a clean over, but, I just have one question to ask... does Raph keep his Motorbike up there, or at Casey's?"

Donatello walked forward, smiling at Mikey's weird question and knowing full well what the answer was.

"Mikey, he keep's it up there,"

He chuckled.

"You know what he's like with his bike, an I quote "No one's ter touch it! No one's ter ride it! No one is ter even look at it funny!" and that's his words exactly, right down to the stinking accent he's got."

Leo looked to Splinter - instantly feeling the connection that their minds had snapped on the same answer.

"He's gone out."

Concluded the leader turtle, his tone a harsh whisper while his glare averted to the floor. Meanwhile, Keya was coming out of her room with the intention of getting some water, however, seeing Master Splinter was back - she slowly reversed back into her room.

"AHH! Son of ah!"

She hissed with an abrupt pause. She had accidentally hit her elbow on the doorframe, and successfully hit her funny bone. The attention of her sudden outburst fell towards the young woman as she rubbed her elbow quickly - hissing at the discomfort.

"You okay, Keya?"

Leonardo questioned, offering a slight smile while tilting his head a little. She was a strange one sometimes. Keya looked to the group - forcing a smile - then stared to the floor while still rubbing her elbow. Sensing shame and distress from the young female, Master Splinter approached her and put his hand on her back to slowly guide her into the conversation while he gently pushed her to his Son's.

"Keyanna, I have had a word with Donatello and Leonardo about last nights miss haps--"

"Master Splinter, I am sorry, I didn't mean--"

"Shhh, my student."

Splinter was calm and gentle in his hushing and it had actually eased Keya a lot to hear him sound like that again. Truth be told, she never wants to hear Splinter the way he was that morning ever again; for such a calm portraying rat he sure has a temper.

"I know you and my son's did not mean for any thing to have got so out of control and I am displeased with all of you, but I do understand you are all so young and did not fully understand the dangers of your surroundings. I am willing to overlook it this offence one time as there were no casualty's, but, it is not to happen again, do you understand?"

Mikey and Keya both bowed in response, while feeling their hearts fluttering rejoice!

"Yes, Sensei!"

They said in union gaining a slight nod back from the old one as well as it being accompanied with a light smile.

"So err..."

Mikey questioned, getting back onto another matter at hand.

"What are we gonna do about, Raph?"

Splinter slyly looked to Keya to see what her face expression would be in return to Mikey's question, but... the young woman kept a straight face and fought to look uncaring - despite the fact that inside, she was screaming to know what Michelangelo was on about.

"Ahh, God,"

With a deep sigh, Keya questioned in a forced disheartened tone of voice to try and keep everyone's suspicions at bay,.

"What has Raph done now?"

Rolling her eyes and trying to sound fed up of the red clad turtle, she was hoping she was giving the group an idea that she was pissed off with Raphael.

"Ahh, he's just gone out, he'll be back in a few hours,"

Leonardo offered as he placed his hand gently on Keya's shoulder, and pulled her into a friendly half hug, happy to see her smile as he done so.

"He's most likely sulking or over at Casey an talking about stuff, we never really know where he goes, he's not big on telling what he does in his spare time and we have asked him but 9 time's out of 10 we end up having an argument or worse."

Mikey and Donnie snorted and nodded in agreement to Leo's explanation, every time Raph's questioned on where he's been he nearly bits their heads off. The aggressive turtle hates being cross examined and he hates being tagged.

"Oh ...well,"

Keya giggled at the leaders answer and tried to brush it off.

"That's Raph for ya.... Unpredictable!"

"You said it, Keya!"

Sniggered Donatello.

"Soo... Err... Sensei,"

Timidly pursed the pacifist while directing his attention to Master Splinter and offering his sweet innocent act.

"Don't suppose we could miss today's training session?"

The others all gave their Sensei the same innocent look, trying for a 'yes' while they all secretly and silently prayed they'd get one.

"Please, Master Splinter?"

They cooed together all sounding like five year old children to the elderly father rats ears.

"Ahh..."

Splinter rolled his eyes and sighed.

"I must be going soft in my old age."

The group took that as a 'yes' and all instantaneously jumped with excitement.

"AWW, YES!"

The chorus of each teen filled the lair happily and full of delight while Michelangelo took things one step further.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

He repeated and placed his arm lovingly around his father for a half sided hug and sighed.

"An there is no way in shell, yer not going soft Sensei,"

He assured with a smile.

"Trust us. After the way you handled us this morning, I will never look at water the same again!"

Though the orange clad ninja did have a secret fear of water, yet being a turtle he was not openly going to come right out and admit it. Who can blame him... he did nearly drown once.

"Hmm, yes well,"

Chuckled Splinter as he gave his baby son a small tap on his carapace - sending him on his way.

"Go on, you all have the rest of the day to do what you want."

The young male turtles all set about to do what they felt like, however, Keya's mind grew curious as she saw Splinter going back for the meditation room. He had been practically living in there, what is he trying to find spiritually? She wondered. With out thinking, Keya reached out swiftly but gently and grabbed Splinter's arm.

"You have been doing a lot of meditating lately Master, is there something troubling you?"

Hearing a hint of worry in Keya's questioning tone, Master Splinter looked at her carefully.

"Not at all my child, is there some thing you wish to speak to me about?"

He asked, slyly twisting the question back on her.

"You do not seem your self today, is there something wrong?"

Keya let go of her Sensei's arm and looked over to the guys now playing videos games - while she was thinking about her answer. Eventually she looked back to him after many moments of chewing the inside of her cheek.

"No Master,"

She forced a light smile and a soft shake of her head.

"There's nothing wrong, I'm fine, I was just a little worried for you is all."

Splinter gently took hold of Keya's hand with his frail paws and cupped his hands about her one.

"Thank you, but there is no need to worry your mind over me,"

He gave her hand a very light tap as well as offered a gentle smile.

"Go spend your free time well, tomorrow you will finish your training with Donatello, then you will move on to the skill of attack."

Keya smiled and bowed respectfully before she watched as Splinter shut the door to the meditations room, but not before giving her the slightest of looks as the door slid shut.

"Hey Keya, come on, its you turn!"

Shouted Donatello. The young woman snapped her attention to the small group of turtles and had a sarcastic grin claim her face as she quickly disregarded the unusual look Splinter just gave her.

"So who gets the honour of losing to me?"

She asked smugly - immediately hearing Mikey laugh.

"WHAT ME LOSE?, nahh... never. Come on Dudette, your in for a rude awaking!"

2 minuets later...

"NEXT!"

Keya called, taking and offering Mikey's control pad up in the air for either Leo or Donnie to take it.

"WHAT, NO WAY!?!?!"

Mikey's cries of defeat was made known as he pouted in baby mode.

"HOW COULD YOU BEAT ME!?!?!?"

Keya rubbed her nails against her chest - still holding that smug grin she just couldn't abandon - and was still using a sarcastic tone of voice as she rubbed her victory in deeper.

"Oh it was quite simple, really. Now... who's next?"

Mikey grunted as he folded his arms abruptly with another pout, after Leo claimed the controller to take Keya up on that challenge.

"Hey come on Mike's, its just a game,"

Joked and reminded Donnie.

"Everyone loses once in awhile."

Mikey quickly shrugged back still keeping his arms tightly folded and only having the other's laugh at the carry on. It was pathetically amusing but it was all in good fun.

"Yeah,"

Mikey smiled eventually as he thought about his pacifist brothers words and allowed a victorious smile to possess his face one more time.

"Ya right Donnie. So that means, I'll win when I verse Keya again!"

"Ha, fat chance monkey-nut!"

Keya laughed abruptly, as well as hearing Leo and Donnie snigger at the mild insult she just proclaimed at the youngest but Mikey merely held a smug grin - giving his feisty little human friend a gentle nudge.

"I will Dudette, wait an see, hahehehe..."

The group laughed as Keya and Mikey continued running each other down on how bad they were doing in their go's, when they were actually both as good as each other from what Donatello and Leonardo could see, but actually admitting such a thing would have really took the fun out of it all.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hours went by and they were still playing the same game. Leonardo was way bored of it by now, followed by Donatello, but the competitive streak in both Keya and Mikey made the game worth watching. There was no violence, only mild words being exchanged and they were not that big of insults neither. It was rather fun watching the two and they reminded the elder turtles of two school kids arguing and singing the song,

'Anything you can do, I can do better.

I can do anything better than you'

However, despite the amount of grand fun she was having, she couldn't quell the worry in her heart right now for a certain temperamental turtle. The young woman slyly averted her eyes to see what the time was

'20:38p.m'

She thought in a shrill, still playing the game with Mikey but she couldn't hold off from thinking about Raph much longer.

'Where is he!?!? He's been gone the whole day!'

Idea's of where he is, or if any thing had happened to him, started to work there way around her head. Up till now, Keya has had the video games she's been playing with Donnie, Leo and Mikey to keep her minds off things, but now she can see it's getting late, and Raph's still not back.

Naturally, she started to get a worried and was feeling sick. He was a mutant turtle, that's been out during the day!! Anything could have happened!!!!!!

Giving her head a swift shake to get out some of the crazy thoughts she was getting, Mikey vehemently screamed by her side - victoriously

"YES! I win!!! I win!!! HAHAHA!!!!"

A smile came to Keya's face after she saw the way Mikey had just jumped around as if he had won the lottery and she couldn't help but laugh at his over excessive kid like behaviour but she loved him for it!

"Well done, Mike's!"

She congratulated, instantly having Mikey's attention spring to her.

"WHAT!"

He shrilled

"No, no, no, no! you can't trash talk me then go all good sportsmanship on me... it makes me look terrible!"

"Well Mikey, I think she just did."

Laughed Donatello, mockingly patted Mikey on the carapace.

"Yeah, Keya's a far better opponent to lose or win to than you Mikey,"

Admitted Leonardo, regarding his baby brother with a natural superior look of tolerance.

"Sorry, but you can be a real sore loser and winner on times."

Mikey's face went sad as he slouched and dropped to his knees by Keya as well as letting out a sighing moan of playful defeat.

"Ahh.... I guess ya right guys."

"Awwwww... Michelangelo,"

Sarcastically cooed Keya.

"are you goin' into sulkily turtle mode?"

Mikey looked at her with a smile, a smile his red clad brother likes to do just before a rather sinister but lovable thought enters his mind. The orange clad turtle regarded Leo and Donnie with that same expression and by the looks they were giving each other - Keya's guard went up fast.

With in seconds, all three males got up - making Keya jump to her feet too out of reflex and sense of playful trouble. There smile's grew on there faces and she couldn't help but laugh a little as she backed away - raising her hands at chest level in a mocking defence.

"Guy's what, what are you--"

She stammered as she slowly stepped back; hearing the males chuckling sweetly with smile's tattooed on their faces - trying to lower her into a false sense of security. Keya giggle and that was it! Immediately Mikey shouted, but pouncing into action

"Get her!"

Donnie lunged forwards in an effort to grab her - but Keya was swift and pulled back fast. Next thing she knew, Mikey had his arms locked around the top of her - holding her back tight against his plastron and keeping her from moving.

"HAHA!"

The orange clad turtle shouted out with glee.

"What'ch gonna do now, Dudette?"

Keya thought fast and kicked back off the wall she was close to - effectively forcing Mikey to fall clumsily backwards. Still holding on to her, he crashed to the floor but his grip on Keya got weaker after just having the wind knocked out of him - so she broke free.

Leo and Donnie both stood in her way now, and in all fairness - the leader turtle was impressed seeing she was not that easy to catch or at least not that easy in giving up once caught. The three stood at a stand off, each calculating their strategies of how to get away - in Keya's case - and how to catch her - in the turtles.

"WHOA!"

With out another second, Keya shouted in distraction with eyes wide in a fearful assumption.

"WHAT'S THAT!?!?!"

Pointing behind them, the two males involuntarily looked to see what Keya was on about but when they looked back... she was gone.

"WHOA?"

Commented Donnie, sounding more impressed than he had meant to but that was really shocked him.

"She's good!"

"Aww man!"

Leo kicked himself and stamped one foot for being so stupid.

"I can't believe I fell for that!"

He even slapped himself gaining a worried look from Donnie.

"Aww dude's,"

Mikey groaned as he sat up rubbing his head.

"where'd she go?"

Keya began playing hide 'n seek, in which, Leo and Donnie scanned the room with their eyes while they both stood still as Mikey got up to join them.

"Sooo... is she still here?"

Slowly questioned the youngest.

"Sshh, Mike's"

Hushed the leader brother. Leonardo listened and continued looking round the room, taking in every aspect of the atmosphere and sensing if there was a change in presence.

"She's still here."

He mused, still sensing her presence and gave his brothers a rather excited grin when feeling his heart flutter at the wonderful imagination of their new little friend.

"Look's like we've got ourselves a game of in-door ninja tag."

Both Donnie and Mikey grinned with a wiggle of their brow. They loved that game. Keya watched as the three turtles stood together - scanning the room. Slowly, but silently, she creped from where she was using what shadow's she could and began to make a move to a safer area.

Still keeping a close eye on the three, Keya saw Leo look to the other two and make hand movement's. Her eye's widened slightly when the two turtles nodded to their leader as if he had said something out loud.

And with that, not a moment too soon, the three ninjas split up and all ran into different shadows of the room. Mikey clapped - turning the lights off - and only leaving the centre light on while the rest of the wide room was shrouded in pitch black darkness.

Keya kept her breathing silent and stopped moving while listening for any sound that the others may make - so she can hunt them, rather than the other way round. Hearing a very faint clink sound, she moved towards it and as she got closer she could hear the faintest sound of whispering.

It sounded like Mikey.

Keya rolled her eyes as to how "non" stealthy her orange clad turtle friend was being and a smug grin fell upon her. Keeping close to the wall, she hugged into it - moving closer to the turtle and still not being initially sure what one it was. Unexpected, she heard another voice - causing stopped suddenly.

'That sounds like, Donnie.'

She thought, and finally seeing a really small faint tint of orange glow, she could just about make out where the two were. Keya moved in closer until she was right behind them and she shaking her head in disbelief as to how close she was to them - and they had no idea, as far as she knew. Keya moved forward, ready to push them out of the shadows, she had the biggest cheesy grin of triumph on her face going and she was nearly busting out in laughter as she was getting closer .

However, celebration was cut short as she suddenly heard a shrill sheathe of a blade sound being pulled and a very small prick on her neck, it felt like a thorn from a rose being lightly dabbed against her skin. Keya froze and slowly looked to where the sword was pointing from - softly hearing Leo say in a calm playful voice.

"Hi, there..."

Next thing they heard, was another glistening sound of steel and a more serious harsh tone of voice sound out ominously.

"Drop it."

Was the only words sneered through the thick darkness. Mikey clapped four times and turned on all the lights and taking away the shadows. Leonardo was standing there, with a Katana blade pointing to Keya's neck, and Raphael was standing behind him, with his Sai prong resting at Leo's neck. The blue clad turtle smiled as light heartedly as possible - knowing he was in full submission to his red clad brother on this one.

"Alright Raph, ya got me."

He sighed, friendly enough, and lowered his blade from Keya. Raphael soon followed in sheathing his weapon.

"Very sloppy, Leo,"

Growled the red clad turtle holding a sarcastic manner but rather annoyed aura about him.

"I could have been some psycho followin' yer,"

'What an interesting choice of words'

Leo thought grimly to himself, well merely watching Raphael regard his other two brothers with a slight cock of his head.

"And you two nimrods! I could hear yer talkin' from outside, never mind in here."

Mikey and Donnie shifted a little, not quite sure what to say to that. Raphael looked pissed and sounded overly annoyed for some reason, but then, isn't he always like that? Leo swung his katana around skilfully and sheathed it away.

"Yeah well,"

He began calmly to inform his temperamental brother of such losy mistakes.

"Them talking was a trap we had set up to distract Keya while I snuck up and an get her full attention when it was too late."

"Yeah, it was the perfect plan, though ya kinda killed it Bro, we would have won!"

Laughed Mikey, only to have Donatello fold his arms while sighing.

"Though Mikey, I don't think it would have been much of a victory. I mean, she is still in training and it's a bit much that she did have all three of us to verse."

He held one hand up at chest level, stressing a point.

"However, I think she done really well for her first game, she was silent and stealthy and I have to admit, I didn't know she was going to be that fast at getting to us."

"Yeah, but she did fall for a basic manoeuvre,"

Added Leo, kind of raining on Keya's parade after the nice feed back she got from Donnie, but she didn't mind. The leader regarded the young female in training - when all the while, his red clad brother was getting more anxious in fury and grinding down on his teeth.

"Keya, you should always be aware of your surroundings and never let your guard down.... Just because it seems like your enemy's not paying attention don't mean there not,"

Keya nodded, taking in the constructive criticism with a natural smile on her face. She was still learning so all of this was good no matter what was said.

"if that does happen, then they have more concentration than you do."

As Leo finished his little word's of advice, Raphael took a very unkind disliking to him.

"That's rich comin' from you, O'Fearless one,"

He snapped, as he pushed past Leo abruptly with a frustrated growl of irritation. He was really not in the mood to be hearing his older brother giving it this and that right now on the high and might Leonardo's, ninja skills and training hand book. The tempered turtle took a seemingly rough hold of Keya's hand - but it was actually rather gentle to the female - as he set his sights to Leo.

"Your someone who's had years of trainin' an yer still didn't know you were being followed!"

He snarled, setting in to point out his leader brothers mistakes.

"I had my suspensions!!"

Leo grunted back as Raph and Keya set past him.

"And besides,"
He called out to them.

"it was just a bit of fun Raph, you know that word?....F U N!"

Keya and Raph simply continued walking away from the others as carefree as ever.

"What'ever!"

Calmly shouted back the temperamental turtle - as well as giving a lazy flick of his free hand to the three behind him. Keya's heart was pounding the whole time, not really sure what to make of it all or better yet, what to make of Raph.

'Whoa!'

She gasped mentally, gazing at the turtle kindly holding her hand.

'He seems pretty pissed!'

Leo folded his arms tightly and at the same time clamped his teeth together, hard.

"Hot Head!"

He angrily spat under his breath, holding narrow hellish eyes at the turtle making away with Keya in his grasp.

"Hey Leo,"

Donatello placed his hand on Leo's shoulder, talking in a calm voice to help lull his leader.

"don't let him get to you, bro."

"No Donnie!"

Leo snapped and shrugged Donnie's hand of his shoulders with an aggressive motion.

"I'm sick of the way he talks to me, he needs to learn respect and if it's the last thing I do... he's going to learn his place in this team!"

Leonardo's words sent an unwanted shiver through the youngest brother, causing a stir of something that could be considered at fright within Mikey. It was rather unnerving the way Leo had just said his words, it was low and aggressively toned.

"Leo, what'ch gonna do?"

Mikey's tone of voice was slightly fearful and eerie. The leader turtle simply stood there - watching and gazing at the female human with his brother right now. They were laughing and joking on the couch and looking as though they were having a great time. The young leader felt an unwanted lump in his throat and he felt his chest was feeling suddenly tight. It didn't feeling nice and he wanted it gone... Leonardo's mind began to scheme a rather devious plan.

"Sorry Mikey,"

He said kindly, looking to his baby brother and giving him a soft smile to put his mind at ease.

"I didn't mean to say that, he can just really get to me on time's, you know?"

The Katana wielding turtle set his attention back to Raph and Keya and in a way, dismissing Michelangelo from further conversation.

"Sorry, if I scared you, bro."

He soothed, narrowing his eyes at his 'competition' since it was becoming clear that his aggressive brother must of had feelings for the young female.

"Aww..."

Michelangelo silently breathed a sigh of relief, actually feeling his heart take a toll down and return back to a nice beat.

"for a minuet there I thought ya had gone mad with the way you said that"

He laughed it off, chuckling the way he does.

"Ahh... well, no harm done bro."

Leo regarded Mikey with a smile before the youngest turtle headed for the kitchen. The purple clad ninja went to his lab, leaving Leonardo standing there - watching and listening to his brother laughing and joking around with Keya.

'I've never heard Raph laugh like that before?'

Still Leo's mind raced about what he should do and how he should go about making Raph know his place! But with nothing immediately coming to mind, he slowly stalked away and went to his bedroom, in full thought.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So where'd ya go today then?"

Questioned Keya, lightly tip toeing her finger tips up Raph's arm in a little walking action. The turtle leaned back - trying to play it cool as he grinned and put his hands up to the back of his head, relaxing.

"No where of importance."

He said with a quick flurry of his brow and an added wick for extra suspicion. Keya winced her eyes playfully and she could see Raph as trying to arouse her in mistrust.

Annnnd..... it worked. The young female folded her arms, holding that playful sneer at him.

"Oh, really?"

She asked, just as smugly as he had spoke. Raphael sniggered, braking from the whole act of coolness as he stood up and stretched before offering his hand out for Keya to take hold.

Keya let a half smile fall on her face but still kept her eyes winced - giving her sly turtle a funny look while taking hold of his hand. Raphael helped Keya up gently but then swiftly pulled her in close to him - gaining a sudden gasp from her lips. The sound was inviting, especially as she followed it though was a most seductive smile.

His heart was beating rapidly, despite him still being a little jittery due this being so very new to him, but he was learning and quickly being greatly accustomed to the wonderful feelings that only she had stirred in him. They gazed a brief second into each others eyes before Raph gently captured her delicate soft lips in a slow kiss of romance. Keya kissed back, moving her arms up and around the back of Raph's neck while feel him touch her.

The turtle gently stroked his hands down Keya's back - churring triumphantly as he was rewarded with a shiver and gentle moan from the beautiful woman. Attentively, he moved his hands to her side - instantly being rewarded with something he was not expecting.

A giggle.

"Hahaha..."

Keya laughed, braking from the kiss.

"I'm ticklish there."

She announced with a soft chuckle while shuffling slightly in coy embarrassment. Raphael winced his eyes - suddenly getting a rather devilish look.

"Oh Really?"

He asked and his tone sounding twisted as if he had the most sinister plot in the world scheming in that brain of his. Keya nodded, smiling in response, and before she knew it - Raphael had swiftly, but gently, pushed her on to the couch - straddled her and set about attacking her with instant tickles.

"AHhahahahah... get off..!!! Hahahahah"

"Muhahahah!!! Hahehehe"

Raph laughed wickedly - while Keya squirmed and struggled underneath him to try and brake free, when all the while, she was unable to stop herself from laughing at the lovable torment.

"HAHAHA...hahahaha!"

Mikey came out of the kitchen to see what all the laughing and shouting was about, only to have his heart flutter when seeing Raphael had Keya pinned down on the couch - tickling her.

"Aww..."

He sighed softly. Mikey's face grew into a really big smile seeing the two messing around like that, it was official to the youngest, they had something going on!.

"MIKEY!"

Keya screamed out in laugher.

"Hahahaha, Mikey, help hahahaaha!"

He contemplated in helping but that was until Raphael threw him a look as if to say 'you do, an yer Next, pal!'

"Ahh... sorry Dudette, no can do I'm afraid, if I help, then it's the tortures turtle tickle for me too,"

Mikey backed away and retreated into the kitchen once more.

"An I dun want no part in it!"

He grinned, shutting the door and hearing Keya scream out.

"Michelangelo,"

Keya shouted out in laughter.

"Hahahaaha you haha coward hahahaha!"

"Hahahaha...."

Her sounds of laughter was accompanied by Raph's. The orange clad turtle simply smiled to himself in the kitchen as he began eating a nice fresh hot slice of cheese pizza, live was good for him at the moment she he was happy as always.

Raphael finally stopped, basically, feeling her up - He was a teen, and a Male, what do you expect? - but couldn't stop himself from laughing as Keya tried to get her breath back and seeing her face was nearly fully red.

"It's not funny!"

She snapped, while helplessly giggling. Raph sat back - sniggering and getting his breath back from laughing to, though he didn't have it thrust upon him like Keya just did.

"Hahah... Ow!..."

He snorted after the little lady sucker punched him in the arm, also giving him a funny scowling look as they both got their breath back and calmed down. Keya moved in closer to Raph - with the intentions of getting on top of him.

She climbing on his lap, straddling him, as he lay idly at an angle on the couch and naturally - his hands had automatically attached themselves to her slender hips, gently caressing them, with out even thinking. Keya softly bit her bottom lip giving the temperamental turtle a slightly suggestive look while slowly running her fingers down his arms.

"You, are a very bad turtle, Raphael."

She purred, and it was instant brain south for the ninja!. Raph slid his hands up and down Keya's waist slowly but firmly and he began feeling his body begin to flow with adrenaline as he fought with himself to be good and to not cross the line.

He wanted it to go at her pace, though she was making it a little difficult with her very attractive feminine physique and sexually flirtatious ways. Keya leaned forward and kissed him romantically, testing him further in his sexual will power of restraint.

Raphael held on tight to his control but slowly began to fail as his hands started to search over Keya's body, a soft churr and moan was sounded as their tongue gently stroked each other and she shuddered when feeling his hand go over a hot spot.

Raphael snapped back from the bliss that was threatening to take control of him and set himself to a sane frame of mind before he did lose it. Taking control of his actions, he stopped his hands from moving any further and gently held them to Keya's waist. They broke from their kiss - smiling to each other a moment before Keya sat back up straight, looking down at Raph with that wicked but sensual smile of hers.

"Hey guess what?"

She chirped - completely changing the thick coated seduction scene she had going on.

"Master Splinter said that my last lesson with Donnie is tomorrow."

Clearing his throat softly, Raphael responded hesitantly.

"Really?"

He said slightly in more of a rasped tone as he fought with his thoughts.

"Well.... Well that's good, so what one will you be learnin' next?"

"Sensei said I'll be learning attack, so who do I get as my teacher?"

Raphael gave Keya a sly grin, instantly informing her it was him. Keya got the message right away and in response - she jumped suddenly with excitement accidentally winding Raph and causing him to let out a small groan.

'She's gonna kill me!'

He moaned in his head, thinking about how worked up she was getting him.

"Ahh!"

Keya's eye winced as she quickly got off him.

"I'm sorry."

She panicked, quickly fussing over him to ensure he was okay. The turtle merely soothed - giving a small lazy wave of his hand.

"It's alright, Sweetheart."

He said softly.

"Yer just took me by surprise is all, I was breathin' in when ya jumped, it's no big deal, I'm fine...Honest."

Keya took a seat again by Raphael, gazing at him so with helpless adoring eyes. Raph noticed the look and once again felt his brain slipping south, so he quickly cleared his throat and looked to the clock before taking hold of Keya's hand.

"Come on."

He murmured as he motioned he head over towards the elevator.

"What? Where are we going?"

Keya asked with her tone of voice full of wonder. Raph gave a soft smile while running his fingers gently through her black silken hair while gazing at her with more than just like in his eyes.

"Now if I told ya that,"

He whispered.

"It wouldn't be a surprise now, would it?"

Keya winced her eyes again - giving her unpredictable secretive turtle a funny look, and with out another word, she walked with him to the elevator - knowing he wouldn't take her anywhere dangerous... she trusted him.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lair...

The clock struck eleven p.m and the lair was nothing but silent. Splinter come out of the meditations room seeing the place was completely deserted, and so, taking in a deep breath - he wondered from bedroom to bedroom seeing if his students were asleep. Checking Keya's bedroom first he found it was empty and heading over to Leonardo's room.

"Oh, hey Sensei."

His baby son chirped while coming out of the kitchen with a tea towel in hand drying them. He had just finished tidying the kitchen up and washed, as well as dried, and put away, any an all dishes.

"Michelangelo,"

Splinter stopped in his tracks and began to approach his happy youngest.

"where is everyone?"

He asked curiously. Mikey stopped in thought for a second, while bundling up the tea towel in hand.

"Well..."

He hummed, tapping his jaw lightly with his finger and portraying the look that he was thinking.

"I think Donnie's in his Lab, Leo's in his room and Raphie was with Keya, they were over there on the couch talking and stuff,"

He pointed to the specific couch before he shrugged - seeing they were gone.

"I don't know where they are now though?"

"Thank you, my son,"

Splinter said, nodding at his son's answer but became eager to change the subject.

"An what are you planning to do now?"

Mikey yawned in reply as he stretched.

"I'm gonna hit the sack Sensei, Good night."

Splinter hugged his baby turtle son good night and lightly tapped his carapace affectingly in that fatherly like way.

"Sleep well, Michelangelo."

He hummed softly, feeling the young one tighten his hold ever so much before braking the embrace - smiling lovingly at the old rat.

"You got it, Father."

Splinter chuckled at his beautiful light hearted son as the little orange clad turtle scampered off to his room, full of that hidden joy deep within his heart. Splinter sighed softly as he set off to see Donatello in the lab. The sound of light tapping becoming known and braking through his concentration, Donatello looked up.

"Oh hey there, Sensei."

He greeted in his calm kind fashion while smiling from his work's desk at the advancing rat.

"Donatello,"

Splinter inquired, coming to a pause by his son at work.

"do you have an idea as to were Keyanna and Raphael have gone?"

The purple clad turtle shook his head as he continued tinkering with his new invention.

"No, sorry Sensei, I've been in here for the past 2 hours. I did hear some laughing coming from out there though so there not fighting again."

He snorted, though the purple clad already knew they were an item - but he was not going to say nothing. Let the couple have their secretive fun, right?. Sensing his leader son's presence, the elderly rat set into devious motion and took in a deep breath before releasing it in a sigh.

"Donatello, I fear we may have to send Keyanna away."

The purple clad turtle dropped his invention on the desk and spun round on his chair with a shocked expression.

"Why, Sensei?"

He shrilled, actually horrified to hear his father say something like that. Leonardo entered the lab hearing Donnie's pleading question and his brother turned his attention to Leo as he made his way toward him and Splinter.

"Leo, have you heard this? Master Splinter wants to send Keya away!"

Donnie snapped, overly stressing his objection as he pointed abruptly at the elderly rat but not intentionally meaning to be disrespectful. Splinters eyes widened slightly at the reaction from ones normally gentle son, this was a rare thing to see Donatello.
"Master,"

Leo looked to his father questionably as he secretly hoped that to be a joke.

"is this true?"

Splinter took close note to Leo's reaction and continued on as he nodded - looking to the floor and then to his son's.

"Yes Leonardo, it is--"

"But Master Splinter, why?"

The leader stressfully interjected and letting worry possess him.

"My son's"

The elder explained a lode of nonsense after hearing and detecting the tone of distress that was in Leo's voice.

"Keyanna and Raphael have grown a great affection for one another, I know it is not the right thing to do as his father, but as his Sensei, I can not allow such a relationship to go on! It is dangerous to both of them, they are not even of the same species"

Donatello stood up - glaring at his Master.

"NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT THAT!"

He snarled abruptly, making his objection highly known. However, the purple clad ninja was shocked he hadn't been comatosed by now with the way he was sneering at his Sensei.

"Whoa,"

Leo grabbed his brothers upper arm testily

"Calm down, Donnie,"

He said - easing his brother back down on the chair while the blue clad turtle admitted.

"I know its not a nice thing to talk about, but Master Splinter has got a point. We all discussed this a few days ago and it may seem all wonderful now but one day there's going to be a question of kids, and Raphael and Keya simply can not have them, or at least not that I know of anyway..."

He ended with a slight shrug and confused expression now having another thought enter his head. Could there be a question of kids between them and pure humans? They were half human due to the mutagen, but they were also technically pure turtle to start with. Having been working on a project about that theory, Donatello turned away from them both as he felt anger begin to build up.

"You don't know that for sure!"

He grunted, miserably. Leo sighed carefully placing his hand on his siblings shoulder, trying to reason with him.

"Don, you know what we're getting at, don't you?"

Donatello eyes began to fill with tears as he understood, but didn't understand why his brother and father wanted to do such a thing. He looked back at Leo as a tear fell.

"But he's our brother, Leo,"

He tried to stifle a sob but Leo only slightly tightened a reassuring squeeze on Donatello's shoulder.

"How can we take Keya out of his life now, knowing Damn well, how happy she makes him!?!?! I mean you heard them laughing in there earlier... when was the last time we heard Raph laugh like that!?!?!"

The purple clad turtle snapped before an answer could be given.

"NEVER!!, that's when!"

"Donatello..."

Soothed Master Splinter, as he reached out to his upset son but Donnie winced him self away from his father as though the rat was poison and pushed Leo's hand from his shoulder - snapping in aggression.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!"

Leonardo's eyes glazed with tears seeing Donatello's anger come out, it was rare to see but it wasn't nice when it did. So Leo shut his eyes, in order to stop his tears from falling - really needing to keep it together.

"Donnie, this is a serious matter,"

He whispered, reopening his eyes again to look at his little brother.

"One that is painful and damn right nasty, and it is going to hurt all of us! And once again it's going to fall to me to have to pick up the pieces--"

That was possibly the last the poor leader should have said.

"YOU!?!?!"

Donatello shot up, snarling in Leo's face.

"YOU!!!!"

He repeated in a deep raging growl as well as giving a good hard poke to his sibling shoulder.

"That is all you think about when it come's down to Raph. All our life, you and him have been fighting for top turtle status and who got it in the end... YOU! Leaving me and Mikey at the bottom of the chain fighting over what's left!"

"Donatello, calm down!"

Splinter shouted only to have Leo's shrill interjecting the old rat.

"WHAT!"

Having his own anger get the better of him, the leader turtle snapped back with a slight shove to clear the distance between him and the purple clad turtle.

"You think I'm agreeing with Master Splinter because I want to hurt Raphael?!?!?"

There was a resounding snort from his purple clad sibling - meaning a 'yes' since it was accompanied with one of Donnie snide little smug smiles that he gets when he knows he right about thing! Leo shook his head.

"NO, DONNIE!"

He shouted, overly stressing his words.

"NO! that is not why I am agreeing! I am saying Splinter is right for one reason, what he say's is true, YOU know IT, I know IT and I bet deep down even RAPH knows it!"

In his frigid state of mind and being in unfamiliar territory filled with anger and potential resentment, Donatello couldn't control this emotion of such hate building up with in him. He was not a fighter, he was a lover, he couldn't handle feeling like this. The purple clad turtle felt weak at the knees and in the end, he just simply broke down to the floor - crying in disbelief of what they were saying.

They were meant to be his father and brother! Why do they deliberately want to hurt Raph!?!?!

The temperamental pacifist was so full of anger - he just wanted to hit something, but Donatello had better control of his rage than his other three brothers. Violence was the last resort for him. Leo looked to Master Splinter - pleading with him with sorrowful eyes.

"Master, can you please leave?"

He asked, looking back to his crying sibling.

"I need to speak with my brother, alone."

Splinter nodded and left with out question, understanding that there were just something only siblings could sort out in privet. Leo knelt down by his brother as Donnie clenched his fist's hard - really restating himself from lashing out!

"Leo, he love's her!"

The younger male spat out and his tone of voice so unlike him. Leonardo winced his eyes at what Donatello said and shook his head.

"No Donnie, he don't,"

The leader turtle said it calm so he made his point that he was not saying this in anger.

"I know this may sound harsh, but Raphael is not the kind of person to settle down, start a family and live a peaceful life,"

The purple clad turtle squinted his eyes shut as he listened while tightly squeezing his hand's all the more to fists - showing through the whites of his knuckles. He was seriously stressing out.

"Raph's a ninja, a warrior and a very good one, however, he is unstable, his temper will one day get the better of him and he could hurt Keya... Or worse--"

"NO!"

Snapped Donatello, looking up with a hellish glare and shaking his head to what Leo was saying.

"NO! Leo, he would never hurt Keya, he love's her, he really does! He's told me... but not in so many words though...."

The purple clad turtle traced off under his breath, hating himself for being able to see what he could and what others couldn't right away. Leo stood up looking, actually despising what Donatello said and looked down at that turtle rather arrogantly.

"He loves us but it didn't stop him from pushing you down those steps,"

His tone was cold, and twisted, as he reminded his brother of what Raphael had done over the years.

"Braking your leg or chocking you in an attempt to kill you! or stop him from hitting Mikey over the back of the head with a metal pipe, or stop him from stabbing me in the hand with his SAI!!"

Leo forced his hand in his brothers sight so he could see the scarring.

"LOOK AT IT, DONNIE!"

He roared seeing the purple clad turtle turn his head away - wincing at scar that remains after one of Raphael's temper tantrums.

"If that's what he call's love,"

Leo sneered, calmly pulling his hand away from the turtle still on the floor.

"then Keya will be better off without him!"

Donatello opened his eyes and wiped his tears, still disagreed with Leo as he stood up he shook his head.

"No..."

His voice was calm, but cold, as he sought to defend his brothers violent ways.

"He was young when he done that and they were all accidents. Raph was sorry for what he done and, YOU KNOW DAMN WELL HE DIDN'T MEAN TO DO ANY OF THOSE THINGS!"

The purple clad turtle went ballistic as he bellowed that and jabbed his finger in a point to his standing brother. Leonardo threw his hands up in anger as he snapped.

"What the hell!?!?!"

The leader turtle growled in frustration, while beginning a pacing action.

"GOD, DONNIE, why are you defending his actions like this!?!?!"

"IT'S CALLED FORGIVENESS AND BROTHER'S. Maybe you should try it someday, rather than thinking the worst!"

Seethed the Bo wielding turtle. Leo clenched a fists - trying so hard not to let what Donatello said get to him - as he looked away, feeling his tolerance running thin. Donnie was feeling the anger steaming from Leonardo now, but he was not intimidated. Any other giving time and he would have been, but not right now.... Simply because, the pacifist was just as pissed and annoyed as his older brother, so he was going to match him aggression to aggression.

"Why do you hate Raph so much?"

He asked in curiosity, suddenly having Leo's attention snap towards him.

"I don't!"

He growled, stressing a point.

"I Love my brother, I love all of you! HOW CAN YOU EVEN ASK ME THAT?!?!?"

Donatello shrugged his shoulder's, smirking that slick smile of pure class arrogance that only he seemed to be able to do so damn well.

"Well you have a funny way of showing your love for Raph if your going to take the one thing in his life that he has ever loved, apart from his family, away from him,"

Leo was stumped and silent a moment in thought as allowed that to fill and pondering about in his brain a moment. Shaking his head, Donatello's mouth grew an insane slick smirk.

"You know what Leonardo,"

He sneered,

"Sometimes, I wonder if it's you that's the Unstable one!"

Involuntarily, after that was said, Leo's mind flashed a scene back to Hun begging him for mercy.

~~".......Anaesthetic? Now I wonder what will happen if I stick this in your throat?....Shall we find out?"

"You've lost it you've gone mad!!... Please don't.. Leona--"

"SHUT UP!"~~

The young leaders facial expression was shockingly blank all of a sudden. He looked as though he was seeing right through Donatello, and his stare was making Donnie's anger snap to worry.

"Leo?"

He whispered, uneasily, as the purple clad turtle hesitatingly moved forward and touched Leonardo's arm. His leader jolted at the touch as well as snapping back to reality with a small sharp intake of air.

"Leo, are you okay?"

His little brother questioned with his voice naturally calm now and full of concern. The blue clad turtle looked to Donatello and nodded, speaking in a whisper,

"Yeah, I'm fine."

And with out warning, Leonardo punched Donatello's jaw - forcefully knocking him to the floor.

"Don't you EVER!!"

The leader's anger flared up as he pointed abruptly at the fallen turtle.

"EVER call me CRAZY again!"

He snarled like a possessed demon and almost looking as such in his expression. Donatello looked back to Leo while holding the side of his face - hissing at the pain that swift unexpected punch had caused. As quickly as he had lost control in anger, Leonardo had it fade fast as he saw blood fall from his little brother's mouth and the vacant stare Donatello was giving back as though he couldn't see Leonardo in the turtle before him.

"Oh god,"

The leader dropped to his knees and began begging his brother for forgiveness.

"God, Donnie, I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to do that."

Leo reach over to touch Donatello's face to see what damage he had caused but his purple clad brother winced away and pulled his leg in tight touching his knee to his chest - before forcefully pushing it forward as hard as he could, ending up side kicking Leo in the plastron and setting some distance between him and his brother.

The blue clad turtle fell back and doubled over - coughing and gasping for air as the pain from the kick alone shook him up. He tried gasping out his apologies but couldn't get a word out as he fought to breath. Donatello got up and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand as he scowled - watching as his big brother curled up on the floor, trying to speak.

"If you take Keya away from Raph,"

Donnie grit his teeth and sneered.

"It will Kill him or YOU!"

"Donnie!"

Leonardo gasped out.

"You know.... you know it will never last, and its better now than a year or so down the line."

Donatello watched as Leonardo pulled himself to his knees, then eventually stood up a little groggily but showed no aggressiveness whatsoever.

"Leo,"

The purple clad ninja sighed emotionally.

"he's my brother and she's my friend... I don't want to hurt them! Can't you see she's really helping him change?"

"I know, Donnie,"

Begrudgingly whispered Leo, reaching forward and placed his hand on Donatello's shoulder.

"And I feel the same way, but in the end, it come's down to their health and safety. I don't want to see Raph or Keya dead. They both have unpredictable tempers, remember when she went for you in the dojo room on yesterday?"

Donatello nodded, not saying a word as he looked away. It didn't really matter what he said now, Leo was set on it, he was set on braking up Keya and Raph.

"Mikey, must never know."

Leonardo sighed, setting his sights to the floor in a minor amount of decent shame. He wasn't keen on the idea but perhaps it was for the best Keya now returns topside.

"Of course."

Replied Donatello - his tone not hiding any of the shame he was feeling as he bitterly agreed to the twisted situation. After a brief moment of thought, Donnie looked to Leo - feeling his heart ache. He hated having arguments - especially with his family members - thus having his gentle self speak out, needing to set his mind at rest.

"Sorry, for saying what I said back there about you being Unstable... and the kick too... it, it was out of order."

Softly admitted Donnie.

"No,"

Leo weakly smiled and lightly placed his hand on Donnie's bruised jaw as absolutely gentle as possible.

"I'm sorry little brother...you had every right."

The purple clad turtle forced a smile - then winced his face back straight due to the pain from the bruise. Leo hugged Donatello in a little hesitantly before he advised.

"You should go an get some rest now, you could do with it after last night."

Donnie yawned and nodded in agreement, then quickly placed his hand over his bruise - hissing at the pain once more by accident.

"I really am sorry."

Apologizing again, Leo lightly smiled.

"Don't worry about it,"

Kindly assured Donnie, also offering a faint smile as best he could.

"I'll be fine in a few days."

Lair, Donatello's Bedroom...

Leaving the lab promptly, the pacifist got to his room swiftly and closed his bedroom door - immediately having a soulfully sigh escaped him before he walked to his bed. The purple clad turtle sat there - staring - as the conversation he, Leo and Master Splinter just had rerun back in his mind.

Looking to his bedside table of the many single photos he had of his family and friends, he picked up the single photo of Raphael and stared at it. Slowly the tears filled his eyes as he traced his finger tips so lightly over the photo

"I'm sorry!"

He unexpectedly sobbed out at the photo.

"I'm so sorry, Raph..."

Curling up on the bed, crying, Donatello hugged the picture for a while before falling to sleep.

Meanwhile in the Seating area...

Splinter had over heard Donatello crying moments before, as he sat - waiting - in the seating area for Raphael and Keya to return. Leonardo slowly approached his Sensei - feeling nothing but inner turmoil - and stood just behind the elderly rat.

"I do not want Donatello or Michelangelo involved in this Leonardo."

Splinter warned, sternly, not even looking at the young one. Leo nodded in agreement while carefully making his way round so the older mutant could see him. They regarded each other for a few seconds before they began discussing what they are going to do about the obvious new couple of the clan....
