I swung Paige around and watched Black*Star and Tsubaki go at the kishin. Instantly the kishin died and Tsubaki took it's soul.

I smiled and was gonna let Paige turn back but just then a ton of kishin of all sizes appeared out of nowhere.

"Shit..." I muttered under my breath.

Everyone started attacking their own kishin quickly.

Me and Paige had a small fast one that wouldn't stay still. "God damn it!" I cursed as I swung and missed yet again. The kishin came at me but I blocked it with Paige's handle.

"Calm down (Your Name)! Just breathe and look for it's weak spot." Paige said.

I nodded and took a deep breath. I closed my eyes and then looked at it. Almost like a radar sense I found it's weak spot.

I pulled my leg out and pushed it's chest with Paige making it fall to the ground. I stepped on its chest with all my force and stuck Paige's end into its eyes socket. I then took Paige and sliced it's head off. The soul appeared and Paige quickly took it then turned back.

I looked and saw Black*Star and Tsubaki busy with two and Maka, Soul with one.

I turned and saw Kid in almost a daze. A huge kishin sliced at him and my eyes widened. "KID!" I screamed.

In a blink of an eye the kishin completely stopped altogether. I squinted to see almost a shadow holding it back. I looked at Kid and saw him still in a daze so I quickly ran at the kishin with Paige and sliced it's throat.

It died and I took the soul and gave it to Paige. I threw her into the air and she landed as I ran over to Kid.

"Kid?" I said worried for him. I pressed my palm to his cheek. Like a switch had been turned he looked up at me.

"(Your Name)?" He said hesitantly.

"Kid what happened out there?" I asked.

He turned away from me and looked distant. "Nothing." I frowned and rubbed his cheek softly.

He leaned into my touch making me smile a little. "Okay.. Just be more careful please Kid." He nodded and kissed me softly before pulling away.

Maka, Soul, Black*Star and Tsubaki soon got done and came over to us.

"We'll be spending the night in one of these houses. Stein said the mission was to evacuate all the survivors here but it's getting late and we'll be dead if we do it at night so we'll do it tomorrow morning." Maka said. Everyone agreed and started walking to a abandon house.

I looked at Kid out of the corner of my eyes worried about him.

He looked like he was in pain. . .
