Coming back home, Angel laid Ruhi on the bed and turned to move but something stopped her.

She glanced back at Ruhi, who was holding her hand..

“Mumma please mat jao. “ she said sleepily.

She wasn't aware of her surroundings, but Angel's touch made her feel home. She felt that she was with her mother. Angel caressed her head…

“Main yahin hoon. “ she whispered.

Ruhi seemed relaxed with her touch. Angel kissed her head and slipped off her hand from her grip. She changed into casuals and slid next to Ruhi on the bed.

The little girl turned in her sleep, and snuggled closer to her. Angel smiled at her act and slept off locking her in her embrace.

Next Morning rose quickly. Angel opened her eyes as her phone rang. It was Sachin, but the call got cut,before she could accept the call. She glanced at Ruhi, who was sleeping with her head on her arm. Her lips were curved into a smile.

Angel bent down and kissed on her head. Ruhi turned on and opened her eyes. Angel smiled…

“Good morning.. “ she said.

Ruhi smiled..

“Good molning.. Aap inni jaldi kyun uth gayi? “she questioned innocently.

Angel smiled…

“Taaki main aur aap bahut Saari masti kare. “she said.

Ruhi gets happy.

“Yayy! Lekin uncle kab aayenge? “she questioned,for she was missing him now.

Angel smiled… “Pata nahi beta. “ she said.

“Ruhi ko unki yaad aa rahi hai. “ she said making an innocent sad face.

“Acha chalo, hum aapke uncle se baat karte hain. “ she said, in order to cheer her up.

“Kaise? “ Ruhi asked innocently.

Angel smiled and dialled Sachin’s number. She made a video call. Sachin picked the call after two to three calls.

“Kaisi ho Angel? Sab thik hai na?? Maine thodi derr pehle call kiya tha, tumne uthaya kyun nahi? Kahan thi tum? “he asked all the questions in one go.

Angel smiled while Ruhi giggled…

“uncle aap kitne questions puchte ho? Itne questions toh meri ma'am bhi nahi puchti. “ she exclaimed.

Sachin smiled to hear her. Ruhi took the phone in her hands…

“Aap wapas kab aaoge? “ she questioned.

He smiled as she questioned the same thing that Angel used to do.

“Jaldi hi aaunga. “ he said.

“Aapne yahi bola tha, lekin 2 days ho gaye, aap abhi tak nahi aaye. “ Ruhi complained.

Sachin smiled.. “Beta kaam zyada hai na. “ he said.

“Aap ko bhi kaam hai aur aunty ko bhi. “ she complained.

“Beta tumhare uncle toh busy hi rehte hai. “ Angel said.

“Main gussa hoon aapse. “Ruhi said looking into the phone.

“Arey par kyun? Uncle ne kya kiya? “Sachin asked.

“Aapne jaldi aane ka promise kiya tha, aap nahi aaye. “ She said, making an angry face.

“Arey baba, gussa mat ho. Main jaldi aa jaunga. “ he said.

“Aap fir se 2 days laga doge. “she said.

Angel giggled. Sachin heard her…

“Tum kya hans rahi ho Angel? Usko samjha nahi sakti kya? “he said.

“Meri bachi sahi toh keh rahi hai. Tum toh ho hi latelateef. “ she said.

“Arey! Ye kya baat hui! Dono mil gaye ab! “ he said making a sad face.

Ruhi and Angel giggled…

“Hum ek team mein hain. “ Ruhi chuckled.

“Very bad! Mujhse toh koi pyar hi nahi karta. “ he said.

Ruhi chuckled… “Aap jaldi se aa jao, nahi toh hum aapse Baat nahi karenge. Hai na aunty? “ Ruhi asked looking at Angel.

She nodded… “Haan Sachin, dekhlo.. Ab jaldi aa jao. Nahi toh hum sach mein naraz ho jayenge. Ab jao duty karo, mujhe bahut kaam hai. “ she said  as she saw Ruhi running out of the room.

Sachin smiled and whispered a thanks to his wife, who smiled back…

“Jaldi aa jao. We will be waiting. Aur mujhe tumse kuch baat bhi karni hai. “ she said and disconnected the call.

She glanced at Ruhi, who was engrossed in watching her favorite  cartoon. She was giggling, Angel was lost in that cute laughter. The yesternight moment flashed in her mind, when the little girl called her “mumma”.

She didn't like her when her husband brought her home. Maybe she wasn't ready for the responsibilities. But the past two days were fun with the little girl. She didn't trouble her. She was a silent child. She got attached to her, they played and they ate together. Overall, she was enjoying her company.

It won't harm if she stays with them, she thought. A smile crept on her face. Her trance was broken by Ruhi. She looked at her, who was looking at her keenly..

“Kya dekh rahi ho? “ she asked.

“Aap kya soch rahi ho? “ Ruhi asked.

Angel smiled.. “Kuch nahi beta. Acha batao, kya khaogi? “ she asked.

“noodles. “ Ruhi chuckled.

Angel smiled… “Okay. Aap tv dekho, main noodles banati hoon. “ she said.

Meanwhile, her phone rang. She picked it up and got worried to hear what the caller had to say.
