Sachin was left shocked at Ruhi’s words.

“Ruhi beta, baat suno. “he said.

“No! Aapne fir se aunty ko gussa dilaya. Ruhi bhi gussa hai aapse. “ she said and ran inside the room.

“Aapko hi icecream khani thi na Ruhi. “he said.

“Haan. Lekin aapne aunty ko gussa dilaya. Aur aap late aaye. Isliye wo gussa hai aur main bhi. “she said and climbed up the bed where Angel was sitting.

Sachin made a sad face..

“ Arey yeh kya baat hui! Ab toh main aa gaya na. “ he said.

“We are still angry. “ Angel said.

“Arey sorry na girls. Maaf kardo. “ he said kneeling on the ground.

“No!! “both Ruhi and Angel said in unison.

Sachin sighed..

“Arey! Ye kya baat hui. This is not fair. “ he said.

“Aapne bhi mistake ki. Hum angry hai. “ Ruhi said and Angel smiled..

“Haan! Ab jao room se. Tum yahan nahi so sakte. “ she said.

Sachin looked at them with open mouth…

“Arey ye kya baat hui?”he asked.

Ruhi jumped off the bed and pushed Sachin out of the room.

“Ab aap yahan nahi aana. “ she said and closed the door on his face.

She rushed up on the bed and snuggled closer to Angel.

Outside, Sachin smiled. He peeped into the room through the window and found both of them playing. He smiled contentedly seeing them.

“Meri absence ne tumhe Ruhi ke kareeb laa diya Angel. Shayad ab tum wo baat bhi maanogi jo main soch raha hoon. “ he thought and smiled.

His thoughts were broken by a giggle. He saw Ruhi laughing over something. Something striked his mind and he called someone. He then knocked the door..

“Sachin mujhe baat nahi karni. “ Angel shouted.

“Ruhi ko bhi nahi karni. “Ruhi shouted.

“Acha thik hai, toh main pizza and noodles and rice and pastries kha leta hoon. Maine toh tumhare liye order kiya. “ he said.

“We don't want to eat. “ Angel said.

Sachin didn't reply.  A while later, delicious aroma spread in the house. Ruhi peeped out through the door. Sachin smiled, he called her..

“Aao Ruhi, pastry khate hai. “ he said.

She kept on looking at him..

“Arey aao bhi. Ruhi ko bhook lagi hogi na. Aunty ko rehne do. “ he said.

The little girl moved towards him. Sachin made her sit beside himself. He tried to feed cake to her, but Angel came out by then..

“Ruhi! “ she called.

She was surprised to see many cuisines.

“Angel acha hua aa gayi. Chalo khana khalo. “ he said.

She composed her anger.. “Mujhe nahi khana  aur ruhi ko bhi nahi khaana.” she held ruhis hand and took inside.

Sachin sighed. He kept the food in fridge and moved inside the room. He saw Angel and Ruhi playing. He laid on his side of bed and slept.

Later that night…

Sachin heard some noise and woke up. He didn't find angel beside him. He moved out…

“Kahan ho Angel aur Ruhi? “he asked.

He could hear some noises and moved into the kitchen. He saw Ruhi eating cake and Angel was munching the pizza. He stood with support of wall.

Ruhi asked for noodles, and Angel fed her that.

“Noodles tasty hai. “Ruhi said.

“Han beta bahut tasty khana hai. “ Angel said.

Sachin smiled… “Jab maine kaha tha tab toh khaya nahi kisi ne! “he said.

“Hamari marzi. “ Ruhi chuckled.

Sachin smiled..

“Main bhi toh khila raha tha. “he said.

“No! Aapse nahi khana. “ she said, taking another bite of noodles.

Sachin smiled.. “Acha chalo ab main bhi kha leta hoon. “he said and joined them. They had food together. After that, Ruhi rushed inside the bedroom. Angel moved out, but Sachin caught her wrist. She glanced at him questioningly..

“Kya hua? Kya dekh rahe ho? “ she asked.

“Wahi jo main dekhna chahta tha. Ruhi ne tumhare dil mein jagah bana hi li. Hai na? “ he asked.

Angel smiled… “She's cute. Bahut achi bachi hai. Bilkul pareshan nahi karti “ she said.

“Maine bhi toh yahi kaha tha Angel. Par tumne suna hi nahi. “he said.

“Nasamajh thi na. Ab samajh gayi. Aaj office mein jab ruhi dikhi nahi toh bahut pareshan ho gayi thi. Aisa laga jaise khud ka hi koi hissa kho gaya ho. “she said.

Sachin smiled… “Jaanta hoon. Main bhi tumhe pareshan karna nahi chahta tha. Lekin ruhi ne mujhe dekh liya tha aur office se bahar aa gayi thi. I had to take her. “he said.

“Usey tumhare sath dekh ke meri Jaan mein Jaan aayi. Varna mujhe laga ki agar usey kuch ho gaya toh.”she said, her eyes turning teary.

Sachin wiped her tears..

“ ro mat Angel. She is safe. Wo hamare sath hai. Aur hum khush hain. “he said looking at her.

She nodded her head affirmatively, and hugged him. He smeared her back and took her inside the bedroom.

Ruhi was already asleep. Sachin smiled..

“Arey ye toh so gayi. “he said.

Angel smiled and sat beside her..

“Haan meri bachi samajhdar hai na. Pareshan nahi karti tumhari tarah. “she said and giggled.

Sachin smiled and they slid in either sides of Ruhi and slept off.

Next Morning

Sachin was playing along with Ruhi. Angel was in kitchen cooking breakfast. His phone rang, he let Ruhi play with her toys and attended the call.

A smile appeared on his face, hearing the caller.

“Okay, main aata hun ruhi ko leke. “ he said and cut the call.

“Kya hua Sachin? “ Angel asked as she gave him his cup of coffee.

“Jo log farmhouse pe gaye they, they are arrested. I need to take Ruhi with me. “ he said.

A fear bubbled in Angel's heart, and she said something at which Sachin couldn't help but smile and assured his wife, and left along with Ruhi.
