The day passes in a blur. Vineet comes home and finds Ruhana sitting in the living room, talking to Angel. 

"Arey Angel, tum yahan?" he asks. 

"Haan, wo sachin ko kuch kaam tha toh maine socha ki Ruhana se mil loon. Wo kuch derr mein mujhe pick kar lega. " she says. 

"Ye toh acha kiya tumne." Vineet replies. 

"Ofcourse, ab ek achi dost mil gayi hai." Angel says with a smile. 

Anamika gets a glass of water for him. 

"Haan, aur dono ne mujhe akela chod diya, Dost." She complains making Ruhana and Angel laugh. 

"humne kahan kuch kiya? Tum hi bedroom mein jaake baith gayi thi." Angel says while glancing at Anamika. 

"Han toh aap aa sakte they na." Anamika says. 

"Uff! Kitna drama karti hai tu!" Ruhana says. 

Anamika eyes her. 

"Aap nahi karogi toh mujhe karna padega na. And I'm still a kid, okay" She says glancing at her sister. 

"that's a point." Angel says while laughing. 

"Dekha, Angel Di agrees with me." Anamika says kiddishly. 

"Acha acha!! Will you make some coffee?" Ruhana asks. 

"Arey, bachi se kitna kaam karvati ho. Jaldi se thik ho jao. Main nahi kar sakti kaam." Anamika says. 

Ruhana laughs. 

"Nautanki hai ekdum." she says. 

Vineet smiles. 

"Don't worry. Main bana leta hoon. Don't bother her." he says. 

"Arey nahi. Aap change kijiye. Hum coffee banate hai. Tab tak aapke dost bhi aa jayenge." Ruhana says and moves into the kitchen.

Angel follows her in the kitchen and Vineet moves to change. His life has got a change. He has someone to welcome him back at home. He knows she is weak yet she is more than happy doing all these things for him. Okay! She's a mere stranger, but he knows her sister well. He got them here because they have nowhere to go. He wants her to be fine. 

Wait? Why is he feeling so much for her? He doesn't know her. Yet, he feels attracted towards her. He knows her as a patient. But the way she speaks, the way she looks at him hopefully, he is fascinated. She is really caring and is working like it's her own house. He slaps himself on the forehead for thinking too much. He freshens up and changes into casuals. Just then there is a knock on the door. It's Anamika. 

"Chalo, coffee thandi ho rahi hai. Sachin bhaiya bhi aa gaye." she informs. 

He nods and follows Anamika. He finds Sachin and Angel sitting in the living room and the ladies were laughing at some joke cracked by Sachin. He joins them and they have coffee together. While Ruhana and Angel were talking, Sachin asks Vineet to talk in person. They move into  a small room, which was Vineet's home clinic. Anamika asks them to come into the garden and the ladies move into the garden. 

"Aaj achi hawa hai. Kya aap log band kamre mein baithe they." Anamika says while sitting on the swing in the garden.

"Waise Ruhana, tumhari behen hai badi mastikhor. Paanch mahinon mein ab khush dikh rahi hain." Angel says. 

Ruhana smiles. She knows her sister was sad all these months. Now, she's happy and talking with everyone. 

"Abhi tak toh aapne iski chuppi dekhi hai. Ab dekhna kitna bolti hai ye ladki. Na jaane kahan se aati hai iske paas itni energy." Ruhana says. 

Anamika hugs her from behind. 

"Aapki smile se. Itni simple si baat bhi nahi pata aapko." she says. 

"Ha han pata hai. Jab kaam hota hai toh Di ki yaad aati tujhe."  Ruhana says and Anamika giggles.

Their talks were interrupted as Vineet and Sachin came out of the office. Angel tells Ruhana that she will come again to meet her. Ruhana hugs her thanking her for her efforts. At the same time, she sees something in Sachin's hand. She's shivering again. Maybe, Sachin was here to talk about the culprit, and Vineet denied him for asking her. Ruhana sighs, her trance is broken with Angel bidding her goodbye. She waved back to her and moves inside the house. 

Anamika follows her sensing that something is wrong. She enters the room and finds her sitting on the bed. 

" Di, kya hua?" she asks. 

"kuch nahi Anu." Ruhana replies. 

"Arey toh yahan kyun aayi? Mujhe bhook lagi hai, chalo  khana khate hai." Anamika says. 

"tu ja, main aati hoon." Ruhana says and asks her to set the dining table.

Anamika looks at her keenly. 

"Are you sure, kuch nahi hua? Dekho bata do kuch hua hai toh. Dost hai na, wo sab thik kar denge." she says confidently . 

Meanwhile, vineet knocks the door. 

"Kya hua? Sab thik hai na?" he asks. 

"Dekho na, Di kuch bata hi nahi rahi. Tum pucho?" Anamika looks at Vineet.

He enters the room and looks at Ruhana. He finds her disturbed. But he decides not to ask anything right now. He wants her to speak up. 

"I'm fine. Chaliye khana khate hain. For mujhe dawai leni hai" Ruhana says composing herself. 

Anamika and Vineet share a glance but follow her to the dining table. She serves food to them. Vineet is delighted to find his favorite food, Rajma and Rice. 

"Wow! Aapke aate hi mere ache din shuru ho gaye Ruhana ji. Waise aapko meri pasand batai kisne?" he asks. 

"Maine batai.." Anamika says. 

Vineet looks at her. 

"tumko kaise pata?" he asks raising her eyebrows. 

Anamika slaps herself on the forehead. 

"Aap toh Di se bhi bade bhullakad ho. Aapne hi bataya hoga na, obviously." Anamika says. 

Vineet laughs at her actions. 

"Sach mein drama queen ho tum. Sach hi kehti hai tumhari behen." he says. 

"Thank you! Par ye mujhe pata hai. Aap kuch nayi baat batao." anamika says making a face. 

He laughs, while Ruhana just smiles at their talks. They finish their dinner and Anamika enters her room to watch the television. Vineet helps Ruhana to wind up the work. He asks her to take her medicines and rest. She nods affirmatively. He smiles and excuses himself of some work. He's a doctor after all.  As he turns to move to his room, she calls him. 

"Mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai, Vineet ji." she says meekly. 

"Haan kahiye. Kya hua?" he asks. 

Ruhana glances at her sister and finds her busy in watching television. She looks at him. 

"Aapke room mein baat kare?" she asks.. 

He agrees and they move in his room. He asks her to sit. She settles on the couch and looks at him. 

"aaj bhi sachinji aapse us aadmi ke baare mein puch rahe they na?" she asks. 

He's surprised. How does she know? He asked Sachin to stay quiet on the matter in front of her. 

"boliye na. Uske baare mein kuch pata chala?" she asks. 

"CID team usey dhundh rahi hai. Par tum kuch jaanti ho?" he asks. 

"Haan. Usne hi hamare mumma papa ko maara tha." she says. 

"Mere papa ek scientist they. Unhone ke formula banaya tha aur wo bahut confidential tha. Wo usey government ko dena chahte they…" she says, water brimming her eyes. 

"Lekin wo aadmi… Wo Kisi aur ke liye kaam karta hai. Lekin mere maa papa ko usne hi maara…. Maine socha tha ki usey bhatka ke main apne parents aur Anu ko bacha lungi, but aisa nahi hua." she says and breaks into tears. 

Vineet is shocked. 

"tumhe uska naam pata hai?" he asks. 

"A…. Akram naam tha… maine jo socha tha uska ulta hua. Uske sathi ne mujhe pakad liya. Aur usne Maa Papa ko goli maar di…. Aur phir wo log mujhe apne sath le gaye." she says. 

He knew  they must have done something with her too. Maybe she will tell him. 

" Aur kya yaad hai tumhe? Kahan le gaye wo tumhe? " he asks. 

" Main behosh thi. Par wo koi band jgah thi… aur un logon ne…. " she says but pauses. 

" kya kiya? Ruhana puri baat batao mujhe, tabhi main kuch help kar paunga tumhari." he says. 

She sighs and removes the full sleeved jacket she's wearing. Yeah, she never wore half sleeves dresses, since the day she came here. There's something she's hiding, and Vineet knows it. She didn't even let him touch her or check her. He knows there's something wrong. 

She reveals her  bare hands, neck and her legs to him, and he's shocked seeing something. And he can't do anything about it.
