Ruhana wakes up with the phone ring. She takes the call without checking the caller I'd. It's a call from Vineet. She gets surprised to know that he's waiting outside the flat. She rushes out and opens the flat door. He smiles at her and she reciprocates the same and welcomes him in. She asks him to sit and gets water for him.

"Aap yahan?" she asks, as she didn't expect him at this time.

It's 5 PM. He's usually at the hospital at this time and today, he's here. She looks at him and he smiles.

"Main yahin se guzar raha tha, socha aapse aur Anu se mil loon. Kahan hai wo?" he asks.

Before Ruhana could reply,Anamika hugs her from behind and places her head on her shoulder.

"I am here!" she says sleepily.

He taps her head slightly.

"So sleepy head, how are you?" he asks Anamika.

She looks at him.

"Hey!! I am not sleepyhead. Got it?" Anamika says.

Vineet laughs.

"soti rehti ho, toh sleepyhead hi ho. Naam suit karta hai tumko!" he says.

Anamika frowns. She first looks at Vineet, and then Ruhana.

"Dii, dekho na. Inko bolo I am not sleepyhead." she says.

"Arey! Kisi ne mujhse kaha tha na doston ko nicknames de sakte hai. Ab ye tera nickname tere dost ne hi toh diya hai." Ruhana says.

Anamika sighs. She said it while having food and now her sister is using it on her only.

"this is not fair." she says.

"Sab fair hota hai" Ruhana and Vineet spoke in unison.

Anamika glances at them and frowns.

"Huh! Koi meri baat nahi sunta. Jao, mujhe aap dono baat hi nahi karni." she says and sits on the couch.

Vineet smiles at her and then looks at Ruhana.

"Waise main toh yahan coffee peene aaya tha." he says.

Ruhana smiles at his words.

"Lekin is waqt?" she asks.

"Haan, aaj jaldi free ho gayaa.. Mere juniors manage kar lenge. Fir socha aap dono se milta chalu. Ab coffee milegi?" he asks.

Ruhana smiles.

"Aap baithiye, main coffee banati hoon." she says and walks into the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Anamika switches on the tv and ignores Vineet.

"I came to meet you." he says.

"Mujhe aapse baat hi nahi karni." Anamika says.

"Par kyun. What did I do?" he asks innocently.

"you know." Anamika glares at him.

She's mad at him for a simple fact. She won't mind if it had been Ruhana but it is Vineet, her friend, and she only liked him calling her Anu.

"Mera itna pyara sa naam hai, wo kyun nai bolte?" Anamika complains.

Vineet smiles and tweaks her nose.

"coz i love teasing you." he says and giggles.

"Ye galat hai." Anamika shouts and he again tries to pacify her.

Ruhana comes out of the kitchen and finds Vineet and Anamika busy in their own banter. She smiles. In a short span of time, Vineet has made a strong bond with Anamika,such that no one can weaken it. She speaks about him confidently, and he has faith in her. These are the two qualities that always polish the bond and keeps it secured. She is forever grateful to Vineet for all that he did for her. Her trance is broken by Anamika's voice.

"kahan kho jati ho aap?" she asks.

"kahin nahi." she says and serves coffee to Vineet.

They have coffee with light chit chats and then Vineet leaves asking them to take care. That very day, Ruhana prepared herself, for she had to go for an interview.

Next morning, dropping Anamika to school for her classes, Ruhana reaches V. S Associates, the company owned by Vineet's friend. She asks the receptionist to meet Vishal Sahni, the owner. The receptionist guided her the way to Vishal's cabin. She seeks  permission and enters the cabin. After a brief introduction and a few questions, vishal looks at her seriously. Ruhana is tensed, but finally, when she turns to leave, he says that she can join the office from tomorrow. Ruhana is elated. She cannot wait to share the news to Vineet.

She exits the office, and dials his number. He took the call and before she could say, his voice leaves her startled.

"got the job?" he asks.

"Yeah! But aapko kaise pata?" she asks.

He laughs.
"Arey dost hoon tumhara, pata toh hoga hi." he says.

Ruhana laughs.
"Chaliye maan leti hoon. Now i should treat you. Aapke bina ye possible na hota. Thank you." she says.

"Dost hote hi isliye hai. And about the treat, how about rajma Rice at your place?" " he asks.

Ruhana laughs and then agrees. She invites him for dinner the same day. She reaches home and tells Anamika the good news. She hugs her

" dekha!! I told you na!! Sab Acha hoga." she says.

Ruhana kisses her head.

"Jaanti hoon,Ana. Tu hai na mere sath, tab tak sab acha hi hoga." she says.

Anamika hugs her again and is elated to know that Vineet is coming for dinner. Later, in the evening, Vineet arrives with a bouquet for Ruhana and a box of scrumptious chocolates for Anamika. She is elated and hugs him out of excitement. They finish their dinner with laughs and giggles. Everything seems alright.

Three months pass by after Ruhana joins the office. Vineet's visits increased frequently. Ruhana finds herself all eager to tell him about her office and also listens to him keenly. Talking to him always brings a smile on her face.

Its a Sunday. Anamika's exams are done, so she is watching television. Ruhana is sitting beside her reading a file. Suddenly, Anamika turns to her.

" Diii!" she shouts.

Ruhana trembles at her voice.

"Kya hua?" she asks looking at her voice.

Anamika looks at her keenly. Ruhana frowns.

"Kya dekh rahi hai? Aur chillayi kyun? Yahin toh baithi main." she says.

"Aap na…. Aap na shadi karlo." Anamika says.

"shadi? Pagal hui hai tu. Mujhe nahi karni shadi!" Ruhana frowns.

"kyun nahi?? Aur dhundhna bhi nahi hai. Jab chora bagal mein ho toh nagar mein dhindhora kya peetna!" Anamika says with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Ruhana glares at her.

"Ye kya bol rahi hai, mujhe kuch samajh nai Aa raha." Ruhana says.

"Arey!! Simple si baat hai, shadi karlo, fir unka wait nahi karna padega aapko. I mean dost ka." Anamika says.

Ruhana looks at her and then looks away. Yeah, she used to wait for him and it's a habit now. Vineet has become her habit. Many times, he pick her up and drop to office. And it's not hidden from her little sister.

" sharmao nahi. I know everything. Roz unka wait karti ho, aur wo nahi aate toh gussa ho jati ho. Isliye shadi karlo." Anamika says.

Ruhana slaps her arm lightly.

"kuch bhi bolti hai tu!" she says.

"Main sach bolti hoon. Main Acha bacha hoon." she says kiddishly.

Ruhana threw a cushion on her, and she threw back. Meanwhile, Ruhana's phone rang. It was Vineet, and he asks her to come at a certain place. He seemed tensed. She asks him the matter, but instead of replying to her, he asks her to get ready and come to the place along with Anamika. She agrees but is doubtful. She sighs. She cannot do anything, other than going to the place. The sisters get ready and and reach the place, and Ruhana is left surprised.
